I gave one star because it doesn't let you rate no stars. I've tried a couple of different Conmand Strips and they all suck! None of them stick. I would never recommend them to anyone!!!! HORRIBLE!!

Well, these picture hanging strips simply don't work!
There doesn't seem to be enough adhesive to hold the strips to the wall when you attempt to hang a picture. However, there is enough to pull off the paint!
Very disappointing

Bought these as we can't drill walls due to inset fire fitted,
So thought this was the answer to our prayers ,paid a little bit extra so they would hold a paper canvas picture weighing about 1lb and it wouldn't even hold pic to the wall as it said pics up to 7.2kgs
What a waste of money and would never buy again

I am here personally to tell you that these strips suck. Hold up to 3 pounds? Try not even a pound. If you want to spend nine dollars to get pissed off eight separate times each time your decoration falls and this is the product for you. $18 later, so far one decoration has survived

I hired someone to hang a series of five photos on the wall. when I returned later in the afternoon, four of them had fallen off. do not buy this product. 3M command brand is absolute garbage.

It has taken off massive lumps of plaster after being removed as instructed I have 6 more to remove and petrified knowing a whole wall a WHOLE wall will need to be plastered. I am so angry at you for selling this total rubbish and costing me a fortune when having small picture hooks would have left a tiny hole - furious

Id give it 0 if i had to took paint of walls say on advert there reuseable etc nope woke me in middle of night with loud bang u all should be sued dont buy these u guys will pay for it

I bought the velcro style wall strips. It is as if they have no adhesive to stick to what I need.

It has subsequently damaged my Google home and carpet.

I have contacted customer service and will wait to see what they say.

Broken three frames because of your fake advertisement!! 7kg stress but didn’t even hold 1kg

There just literally isn't an adhesive on the strips, none. Touch a strip, I dare you, it'll be slippery and waxy. This product is a scam. All it does is damage your stuff when it ejects it from the wall.

I stupidly bought a pack of 3M Command damage free hanging strips, to help put up the Xmas trimmings last December 2021…very lightweight window lights all fell down, twice! even after 100% following the instructions….unfortunately while hanging a few paintings and photos, I decided to try these again, for a small, lightweight painting (12 X 10 ins, 400g) I cleaned the wall, which was plain painted, not wallpaper, and followed the instructions 100%….the painting was to go above a light switch, so I didn’t want to risk my usual excellent hanging hooks, that need to be hammered in….after 1 week the painting and hook etc, fell off the wall at 3 in the morning, luckily no damage to the £200 painting..I had exactly the same response from 3M customer care, as reviewers on here,the third degree!…what room,temperature, damage sustained, wall type ..all to be backed up with photographic evidence!….haha…..do yourself a favour people, don’t buy this product….there MUST be better.

I hung 30 small, light canvas prints with Command strips following the instructions. Heard noises during the night. I woke to 20 of the pictures on the floor. The strips also took paint off the wall when falling.

They did not hold the item to be hung and damaged the wall. I do not recommend this product!

I recently moved into a new apartment I bought the command strips the mediums and the large within days they fell a mirror broke and almost hit my dog pictures have been falling off and yes I did clean the surfaces off they used to be really good product but I don't know what happened maybe they're not putting enough glue on them I just really don't know but now I'm going to have to have several spots on my walls repaired I didn't want to put nails in my walls that's the reason why I bought these like I said they used to be a good product that's $20 down the drain not to mention the mirror and several frames that have fell very disappointed and will never buy this product again

I followed all the instructions. Yet my mirror fell down and broke almost immediately.

So after following the instructions to the tee and methodical going through each step (and buying alcohol rub), I wasted at least half the strips because they failed to stick and to add salt to the injury two of my pictures fell off the wall and smashed. Against my better judgement I have now had to order another pack so i can hang the two fallen picture once I have purchased two new frames. This purchase has put me £40 out of pocket. Also adding I put 4 strips on each frame, even though it should have only taken two.

I purchased this product last year, thinking it would be great, bought 6 packs.
Yes, they were great to hang photos, which I did in my hall.
I was having the hall decorated earlier this year, so removed frames. It took off not only paint, plaster!!! Not impressed as I still had packs to hang in other rooms. I contacted company who were so unhelpful. I now have these packs which I can`t use unless I want wall damage!!!!!! It also cost me more for decorating as wall needed a bit of plastering.

I have purchased command strips to hang some photo frames. Basically they don’t work. I have ended up with some of the strips stuck to the wall and also four frames have smashed in the process. I tried again with yet more strips the next day and have had the same outcome. I have followed the instructions on the reverse of the pack to the letter. I have now given in and gone back to picture hooks. The frames I have purchased was purchased as a set of eight. I only now have four frames and cannot get the same frames again so will have to purchase another 8! I have an email receipt for the frames. I also have a receipt for the strips that I paid £20 pounds for. I have looked on trust pilot rather stupidly after I purchased the strips to see not one review that says they work and how easy they are to apply and use! I have photo evidence should you wish to see. I would also like a refund for my photo frames. I have weighted the frame and it is nowhere near the 5.4 kilo max for the strips I purchased. I look forward to hearing from you, copied form an email sent to command. So far on responses I have been asked more questions than if I had been in a car crash! What is the room temperature? What preparation have you done to the walls? How did you put them up? How long till they fell down. How long did you leave them up? I have sent evidence of all frames smashed. Please do not but these sellotape would stay up longer!!

I’m putting up standard picture frames from Wilco's, not the queens jubilee photo for Buckingham Palace for Christmas sake!

crap product, ive just removed pictures from walls and every one has either removed paint or left marks. complete junk, company should be sued for such a misleading product. Ive removed one picture from wall and the plaster underneath has cracked and now left a hole in the plaster. wall will need replastering. im absolutely furious. up yours 3M !!!! you should be sued over this.

If it sounds too good to be true it always is.
If you market anything well enough than enough people will buy it. That is the case here.
Company should be sued and Command strips taken off our shelves asap.
Total scam.
