DON'T USE COMMAND STRIPS
I Used command strips on a large picture frame. When I tried to remove the picture frame at a later date it removed the plaster and paint from my walls and ripped the border/wallpaper. Now the wall where the frame was needs replasterd. The command strips were also a lot more expensive than a store brand which came off without damaging the wall.

Not a Good PRODUCT , WHY , because the Wall side sticker doesn't work - when You peel off the little waste paper the glue strip sticks to it and then it doesn't stick anymore , very Aggravating moment , so now You just WASTED Your MONEY 💰 and THAT HURTS cause they're very expensive and That HAPPENS with at least HALF of the sticker strips. BIG WASTE of YOUR MONEY 💰. No Can Do. Won't Buy Again . I Don't recommend it . Very Dissatisfied COUSTOMER got Pics to prove how it peels it off... Back to Good Ole Nails , screws , and hammer. The American Way of doing that Right 👍.

While this product may look great when first put up, it definitely does not last very long!!! I made sure to use more tapes than needed for my pictures and paintings but after about a year they have started falling down one by one. And pull the the paint and plaster off to boot.
Product is only for short term use!
Better to use a small nail as it makes less damage and will last as long as you need it.
I would not use this product again!!
Do not recommend.

All of my rare movie picture frames are now ruined, this product is junk.
I would recommend you boycott this awful product ...

Purchased new strips yesterday after bringing a picture home that belonged to my mum. She died 4 weeks ago so the picture was precious. I can't use nails in my walls .
5 mins later smashed to smitherines ... Devastated ... Angry, unhappy.
Used correctly.. checked the strips backing , turns out the stick isn't actually sticky!!!!
Have photos of the disaster that was a beautiful picture. Just wanted to hang it to remember my mum....
Shame on this company..... I have emailed 3m but I doubt I'll hear anything. So upset so angry

These are not worth buying they cost my son his security deposit at college because they tore the paint right off of the wall when we went to move him out at the end of the year. Of course I called 3m customer service and basically they just wanna hear your sad story they don’t wanna do anything about it so I wouldn’t recommend buying these unless you don’t mind losing some money…..just sad it cost my son his security deposit especially when they advertise no wall damage safe and easy to remove! Ha

Holds pictures for a few months then for no reason pictures fall off the wall smashing on the floor and breaking the frames.
Totally unreliable even lightweight frames with no glass fall off. Do not use.

So reading other reviews people seem to be unhappy with the product straight off the bat. I've personally not had that issue and think the product works as intended initially. I've been using command strips for roughly 10 years at both home and work and this is where the issue comes in. At the 8 year mark these strips fail causing whatever they are holding up to come crashing to the floor. This is a massive issue especially when you have glass in the frames and expensive art work behind that glass as both are ruined. I messaged customer service about this a couple of years back and again last year and got zero reply. They obviously don't want to admit that their is a flaw in their product and I'm sure I'm not alone in this. There are no doubt a number of angry customers with damaged property expecting some sort of compensation for using their product. I've since stopped using command strips on picture frames and instead stick to small hooks etc for hanging towels and other non valuable items on

After refurbishing my bathroom, last few finishing touches included hanging three small pictures on tiled wall, didn't want to drill new tiles so decided on Command strips. Pictures were less than 1.5kg but I used 3.6kg strips to be on the safe side. I degreased the wall with Brake Cleaner and hung pictures. ALL THREE FELL FELL OFF within a week. Terrible product.

Hung a picture less than 3kg on heavy duty set stayed up for nearly two months before it decided to part company with its partner and smashed glass everywhere ? Useless now need new frame and glass waste of money use a nail much safer

Excellent customer service. Having used a command strips and hooks for many years, I had lost a part of some hooks. Contacted Customer Services who asked for photos to be sent … whilst they couldn’t get replacement part, Krzysztof arranged for replacement hooks to be sent out and they arrived next day.

Contacted customer service as paint was taken off when taking off the strips even though following full instructions- this was their reply

What happened when your frame fell down?

When the item fell did the strips unlock?
Did the frame fall away from the strips leaving the strips on the wall?
Did the strips come away from the wall?

AMAZED THEY NEVER ASKED MY BLOOD TYPE every thing else WAS ASKED

Bought the 3M card Command 5.4kg strips. Tried to hang 2 pictures, the lightest was 925g. Followed instructions exactly as described. Tried to hang them on Matt painted walls. absolutely useless! The stick on the back was nowhere near strong enough. Pressed on for a good minute. When I tried to peel away the whole lot came away from the wall straight away both times. The stick on the back was not up to standard or I have an old batch. Not cheap either! Wouldn’t trust them with an expensive picture it will just drop off and smash.

I was disappointed to find the hooks damaged the walls when you tried to remove them. I would advise anyone to think twice before they use them. They were great at holding up the Christmas garlands, but I am now left with the dilemma of 4 rooms which I will have spare hooks dotted on walls or face paying someone to fill, sand and paint the damaged walls if i remove them! Expensive mistake

Totally waste of money. Held a light photo frame up for 10 minutes before the frame fell and smashed ruining the photo inside. Absolute scam.

Absolute awful product newly decorated walls 3 weeks ago followed instructions to hang a picture then as it said on instructions took it off the wall to settle adhesive but to my horror it took paint and plaster off the wall as well thank goodness only tried with one picture. Don’t buy this product it will damage your walls!!

Utter rubbish. What an expensive waste of money. I am disgusted. Really wish i had read the reviews. Total misrepresentation as to product claims by this company. How they get away with it i will never know.

Removed adhesive strip as instructed, and it took the paint off the walls. Not very good.

After contacting the company to tell them of my absolute horror while trying to hang a new print with these strips, which damaged the frame. They were totally unhelpful and gave me a list of questions and according to them I answered unsuccessfully. I would advise no one to buy these unless you want damage to occur to your artwork etc. When I ask a framer about getting my print reframed he informed me of how many other people have had the problem with these strips. I’m totally disgusted as it was a brand new print which cost me in excess of £150.

What a load of rubbish...spent £7 on 2 packets and they just don't work at all....how are they still for sale. Wish I'd read the reviews before wasting my money
