Useless. Spent £24 quid on these strips abs hooks. Weighed everything to ensure it was correct. Used more than one set on larger items and all but one picture has fallen off the wall breaking every pane
Of glass. Total garbage unless u are sticking paper to a wall or items weighs a few grams.

Ripped off paint on wall once removed after using for Xmas decoration and I have pictures to prove it...not happy, total rubbish!

Only giving one star as I don’t have a choice. Ripped a 2 inch hole out of my PLASTER exposing the plaster board behind. This was the picture hanging Velcro ones, they were white. Used as directed and correct weighted object and removed with caution and as directed. Cost me £80 from my deposit to repair. Will not use again.

I have images to show the damage that was done to my wall when I removed the strip as directed - thanks! False advertising and grossly misleading product.

I used 2 command strips where I should have only needed 1, and followed all of the instructions. Today the picture fell off the wall and broke, approx 8 months later. Am writing this review to let others know that even if at first you think it works, seems that it won't last. One strip stayed on the wall, the other on the picture (which only weighed 1kg).

Why is this product even a thing? Not only did it not stick to my wall, it took the paint off it as well. Followed all instructions and after waiting 60mins, the slightest of pressure made it fall off the wall. What a waste of money. False advertising and not fit for purpose. Should not be allowed to be sold. Save your money.

Don't stick to anything. They are unusable.

Would give no stars if I could. These do not work on walls, wood, glass, plastic..anything. If you do manage to get them stay onto a surface, anything you try to hang on them will pull them straight off. 3M customer services will tell you to return them where you bought them and take it up with retailer. Don't waste your money on any of these products.

Command hooks are basically useless, they go up, stay up look and do the part then 1 by 1 fall off, when least expected. Been on a wall or door result is same 1 min up next down. And no its not due to weight.

Picture placed on a plain wall! Picture not only was light, used long strips but still the picture fell off the wall, removing the paint breaking the picture!

Emailed 3M - nothing, not even acknowledge the email!!!

Don’t bother ... easier to fill a hole from a nail than repaint a section!!!

i followed all of the instructions and still, they don’t stick on my wall (clear wall no wallpaper).

I applied the strips as shown on the packed and after watching a video just to be sure and as I removed the frame to press the tabs down it ripped the paint for the newly decorated wall (even though it had been painted 2 weeks ago as recommended).

Just use nails as they actually do less damage. So annoyed as will have to have the area re-decorated.....

Recently redecorated. Waited a month before replacing all the pictures in the house, using the clear Command hooks. I weighed every picture and all were well below the 250g maximum. After a few months, all the pictures have started falling off the walls. The hooks also take off the new paint as well. Now in the process of repainting and hammering in nails. Frustrating, damaging to the pictures and a waste of time and money.

Expensive rubbish.
Bought the shower version of bathroom hooks to hold a small tray of shampoos etc.
It says suitable for wet and humid situations.
Followed the instructions, cleaned the smooth, glazed tiles, white, with propanol (rubbing alcohol), pressed in place for 60-seconds etc.
30-minutes after having one shower, the hooks fell off with all the tray contents.
Hard to know what Command has to do with it other than "Fall off".
Save a lot of dosh and buy a cheap plastic hook and some double-sided foam tape which will probably work better.
Is this the same 3M, Scotch, that used to be top dog in adhesives, now reduced to churning out rubbishy plastic hooks and rubbishy, expensive double-sided tape.

What does work is Dow Corning "The Works" adhesive that loves wet places and sticks anything.
Wish I'd thought of that first.
I have whole shower risers fixed with with it, on tiles, no problems

3M, COMMAND DAMAGE FREE HANGING STRIPS,
This product needs to be withdrawn from sale as they are not fit for purpose. I hung 5 pictures each weighing no more than 2.5lb, I used four strips on each and they are not cheap.
They stuck to the wall fine for a few weeks then one by one in close succession three of them just fell crashing to the floor, damaging the Frames, breaking the glass and damaging the pictures.
The sticky on the strip had simply peeled off from the back of the picture sending the pictures crashing downwards, Thank god my little ones was not underneath when this happened. I have removed the other two and will never use these again as they are a Health & Safety hazard.

We have some of the older blue tabs, holding up Christmas lights, which have stayed up for more than 4 years. Using the new clear 'stronger' tabs we have put up strings to hold Christmas cards and every tab has been replaced at least once over the last couple of weeks. The new tabs are complete rubbish. Please bring back the blue ones.

Would rate it zero but 1 is the lowest you can give. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Spent 4 hours trying to hang 4 small pictures.Strip just would not adhere to wall despite following instructions precisely. Manufacturer needs to re-visit this product as it is totally not fit for purpose. AVOID.

Absolutely useless!!
I bought them to hang tinsel on my walls. I followed the instructions. The tinsel is a light-weight product and yet these command hooks can't even hold them. They fall off the walls at random times. No it's not my walls fault. They are clean and level. Some command strips have stayed but I wish I had checked out other reviews before buying. Now I'm dreading taking them down. I will never use them again

3m Commands
Useless, have smashed a number of picture frames after they randomly fell off the wall. Tried to relocate a picture to a different wall, just fell down. These things are expensive- don’t waste your money on them. I have replaced all mine with nails.
Very difficult to remove backing paper without damaging.
