Probably the worst company I’ve ever booked anything with in my life.

Do not booked with this cowboy very vey bad service they don’t pick up the phone waited near 2h to get car back

I am deeply disappointed with Compare the Parking. I used their platform to book a meet-and-greet service with a company called iPark for a trip between 24th April and 30th April.

By listing iPark on their website, Compare the Parking directed me to an operator that subjected me to a logistical nightmare and a severe vehicle security breach. iPark never moved my vehicle to a secure compound; instead, they abandoned it in the airport’s short-stay car park for the entire 7 days, resulting in a £472 ANPR barrier fee upon my return. To make matters worse, after making 13 desperate phone calls over three hours to locate my keys, I discovered an iPark representative had left my car keys completely unattended on top of the rear tire of a random vehicle in a public garage.

A quick check online shows that iPark has an abysmal 1.1-star rating out of hundreds of reviews on Trustpilot, with endless identical complaints of negligence and abandoned cars.

Compare the Parking claims to offer a trusted comparison service, yet they clearly do zero quality control or basic vetting of the companies they promote. By continuing to advertise a company with a 1.1-star track record, you are actively exposing your customers to severe financial and security risks.

I will never use Compare the Parking again until they take accountability and ban negligent rogue operators like iPark from their platform.

We landed and called them to have our car delivered as sold. No answer for an hour and then told they were on their way.
2 hours later with three children waiting after a long day of travel I decided to get a cab to them as they said our car was close by in their car park.
So £30 later in a cab I get to a rocks and rubble yard that was clearly unsafe to drive on!
We drove the car away and immediately noticed it wasn’t driving properly. I disputed with them but totally pointless, they’re thugs.
We drove down the M11 and the whole car was smoking and not steering properly. We needed up waiting for the AA five minutes from their yard for another 3 hours. And towed home!!
They broke our car and let me drive my three children away knowing it! They’re filth!

Awful. Avoid. We called 30 mins from Stansted airport and were told to drive to a farm and drop our car there. After multiple calls they finally met us at Stansted. On our return, we called as instructed and were told they would bring the car in 1 hour 20 mins. The way the guys spoke to us, this seems normal practice rather than any exception.

DO NOT BOOK PARKING WITH THIS SITE!!! booked through here and choose LGW executive parking, phoned to let them know we was arriving at the airport failed to show up!!! Rung 17 times to be told they was & never did!!!! Ive emailed compare parking have heard nothing back from them!! Shambles of a site AVOID!!!

Genuinely astounds me in the 21st century that companies can get away with this at a major airport!....
Booked with 'Gatwick Premium Parking' through Compare the Parking. At first all seemed well. I couldn't find the confirmation and through the chat function they sent me the e-mail very quickly and once we had a horrendous experience with the company that was in-fact 'iPark Gatwick' (A while other story) the asked for a review then sent an email to ask iPark for an explanation to why they were so bad. Great!
Until......you realise that is all a rouse to make you think they care. They know that the companies on their website are iPark under different names and doctor the reviews to ensure they are 5*. I have actively chased the company to remove them and they have never responded. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM SITE!

I would strongly advise nobody to use Compare Parking - Gatwick for meet and greet parking.

When I dropped my car off, I was already short on time and there was nobody there to meet me. When I finally got through to someone, I was told it would be a 40-minute wait. Other customers there told me they had already been waiting over TWO HOURS.

I was then told to leave my car with the keys on the wheel and go to my flight. I felt extremely uncomfortable doing this. I emailed, called and messaged multiple times just to confirm this was genuinely what they wanted me to do, and nobody responded. I eventually managed to speak to someone who brushed it off and confirmed it had been collected.

Coming home was even worse.

The email clearly stated the return wait would be “up to 20 minutes.” When I called after landing, I was then told it would actually be an HOUR. That hour turned into TWO AND A HALF HOURS.

There were huge queues of people in exactly the same situation from around 1am onwards — including families with small children stranded in the car park waiting for their cars. My wait for my car was longer than my actual flight.

I was supposed to be home by 3am and didn’t get home until after 6am. Waiting alone in a car park in the middle of the night with luggage, after paying extra for a “meet and greet” service, then having to drive home exhausted at that time, is genuinely dangerous.

To make things worse, there was absolutely no apology, no care, and no customer service whatsoever. Staff were rude, dismissive, uninterested, and would even hang up the phone. They also gave me the wrong parking location for my car and then called later to say it was actually parked somewhere else.

I heard other customers saying their cars had even been taken to the wrong terminal and left there.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Completely unacceptable service and absolutely not worth the money. I will be requesting a full refund.

Terrible company who lie on the booking confirmation. Lie about time it takes to get the car back and drop off charges. Please never use!!!

They left me, my daughter and my elderly mother stood outside the airport for 4 hours in the early hours of the morning. Only when the police were called and drove us to your site we were able to get our keys and car back. I didn't get home until 6am and had to go to work at a school for 7am. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever been victim of by a company. They didn't answer 159 of my attempted calls and when they finally answered one they started psychopathically laughing down the phone at our desperation.
This was at stansted but we were advised that compare your parking is all the same company operating all these little cowboy junkyards and they have been trying to get rid of them for over a year and a half as there are large groups of stranded victims there on a daily basis. The drop off was also stressful and unnerving they rarely answer the phone and are so vague and were late collecting the vehicle also.

Rubbish - do not use!! Directed to Park Pilot Ltd Stansted. When we arrived at the car park, we discovered the shuttle to the airport is charged £10 per person extra!! On return, we sat outside the Radisson Blu pick up point for 40 minutes. Three times we were told the shuttle was on the way. Then a dark unmarked minibus arrived at the pickup while we shivered. Then after 10 minutes the driver got out and took our details. Zero customer service.

Horrendous company. Did exactly what was required from me on the way, ringing 30 minutes before, arrived and had to wait over an hour for my car to be collected. No apologies - dispute calling multiple times to ask where they were. Then on the way home, again, rang 30 minutes before and was told I needed to wait 50 minutes. No apologies. I said it’s due to be arriving within 30 minutes but was dismissed. Called multiple times and was met with no apology, no care, and it’s deeply frustrating as the whole point of this service is for ease and quickly retrieving my car within the time stated. I’ve processed a huge complaint and have requested a full refund.

Avoid this company. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. Staff were rude at drop-off and unexpectedly demanded £8 cash to leave the car park. After landing at 11:20pm and following instructions, we were left waiting 1 hour 40 minutes for our car with repeated unanswered calls, voicemail, and constant false promises of “20 minutes”, “15 minutes” and “2 minutes”.

When the car finally arrived, the key had been left visibly on the wheel for anyone to take, which is completely unacceptable. The car had also been parked so badly we had to climb through the passenger side to get in. To make matters worse, we were then charged another £8 just to exit the car park with no proper explanation.

Poor communication, poor organisation, terrible customer service and serious concerns around vehicle security. I would strongly advise others not to book with this company.

I dropped my car off at Gatwick North and followed the instructions to call them 30mins from the drop off point they were late picking up my car, the man collecting my car was rude and to top things off also I got a parking ticket for this company using my car for themselves at Gatwick South picking up a ticket in the process when I was over the Atlantic on my flight, tried to complain man on the phone just as rude.Dont use this company

Every parking listed there is just awful.. on the last one I have tried I could see that my car was unlocked all the time, in a very sketchy place. Once I landed, car was 9minutes away( could check the car app), but the driver took +1h to return it and his excuse was “accident on the highway” what a joke.. an absolute disgrace of service done by absolute scammers..

Save yourself all the trouble and just park on the airport parking.

Recently got back from our holiday, my husband had booked a compare the parking,
I can honestly say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Money was stolen from our car, couldn’t get through on the phone and when we did we was told they would be 10mins this went on for approx 2 1/2hrs

When speaking to NCP at the carpark they had warned us they are not a legitimate company.so no idea why they are allowed to use Gatwick parking.

Please take this as advise they are a shambles

This company is part of a wider scam. They have fraud companies listed on their site. Do not trust the reviews on this 'comparrison' website, they are bogus. We booked a drop off for Heathrow airport through them and did not have our car returned to us. According to companies house t
compare the parking ceased trading in 2024. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

You need to take more responsibility when representing the firms you are acting for as part of your search/selection criteria. Recently having used iPark, not only was the service late, rude and lacking in proper checks at handover but upon return my not inexpensive sunglasses had been removed from the glovebox. Avoid this site/parking provider.

Avoid at all costs. Agree this is bordering on criminal behaviour. Waited over 2.5 hours at night with two young children. Car was shown on tracker to be at airport. Every time we called agent to find out why it wasn’t being delivered to us we got another lie. Refund promised never materialised.
