5/5 stars for the idea, 2/5 stats for the execution. The requirement list is good for a quick first review of your regulatory obligations. Not mentioning the relevant harmonized standards is a big minus for me. Also the"declarations" template is amateurish and hard to use. It doesn't look very good aesthetically and the "row adding" is a wierd mechanic. Why not just leave it free text? Using the enter key will do the same work as "adding a row". The best way though would be to have predetermined fileds to fill, like a pdf form. Also the monthly reports is a great idea and I hope they continue. Again if you could mention harmonized standards it would be a lot better. All in all I am satisfied with the product and I'm sure as you're getting more experience and feedback, it will get better and better!

I have been using Compliancegate for a while now, and in my view it's a useful solution for most "normal" products. You can get a thorough overview of regulations and necessary testing/documentation within a few minutes of setting up your product profile. This way you clearly know, where you need to put your attention on.

That being sad, I can understand some of the 2/3/4 stars reviews here on trustpilot. Many people seem to start from scratch, but Compliance is a vast topic, that seems very daunting to beginners. Big companies have specialists just for this area of expertise, so don't expect to understand everything after half an hour. You will need a while to get a grasp of all the details. Also compare what your competitors (especially big companies) are doing. I believe that after 6-12 months, you will feel very comfortable with the topic of Compliance and you will better understand the price and value of the Compliancegate subscription.

Don't forget to make use of your tickets. Their team is answering quickly and is also willing to jump on a video call with you, if you feel stuck. I have been working with 2 of the biggest lab testing companies before and my experiences with them were far from pleasant. I expected them to exactly tell me what to do, but instead they wanted me to tell them what tests I wanted. I also bought a video course before, that while giving a good top-level overview, did not help me understand the specifics of my products.

Here lies the value of Compliancegate! After setting up your product profile, you will get a boiled-down summary of what applies to your product. This is something that I did not find anywhere else yet. Concerning the costs: once you have had experience with other companies or advisors, you will understand that the costs for Compliancegate are actually quite low for what you get.

Fantastic platform to use. It is extremely helpful to understand regulations applicable to the EU and USA. Fredrik and Ivan are so helpful with any questions you may have.

The listing of applicable directives is very helpful. The summaries of the directives and the source information is extremely valuable and a time saver.

i buy the access to get faster oriented in the compliance process but on the first inspection and my first product i noticed that there is still a lot of data missing in the system - in my case of gas stoves there was 0 information about need of involved independent body (or how it is called in EU). I dont know if i can trust this platform if the basic info which i as a beginner know is missing.

I listened to the online Seminar and from my experience felt that Compliance Gate was doing a great job at emulating the needs of the user by providing a comprehensive tool for organizing regulatory issues for product development and distribution throughout the EU and US. Registering was easy and clear and my initial session on-line went well.

I will give a 3 stars to Compliance Gate and this is why:

1) The first step to use the app is to create a Requirements List for your product. Basically you need to answer some questions about your product. The problem is that there are questions that you dont even know about your product, the idea of an app like this is to answer easy questions not difficult questions that you need to start doing research for your own to find the answer.

An example of a difficult question will be: Does this product require a GCC? or Does your product require NRTL approval? I dont have idea about this I want the app to tell me if I need a GCC or NRTL approval. It should be easier for the customer to know the compliance for their products.

2) I dont like that idea of paying an entire year, it should have the possibility of doing monthly payments.

So In general I think is okey but I think that it needs more work on it

The site was set up quickly; you can find almost all the crucial information related to your product. Adding the product materials system offers you practical related subjects with links, so you don't worry about finding them individually. I suggest standard model for you. The ticket is essential if it's your first time working with that product. The team supports you well with additional information. However, I want to share one crucial thing here. All the docs that you'll have related to your product are more generic subjects. Feedback from the team after opening the ticket also comes with more general information. It would be best to read all of them individually to understand all compliance issues first, then make your checklist to clarify things that directly match you. For instance, if you have a company with less than ten members, you are exempted from CA Prop 65. But docs and links offered by the team and tools usually at a general level like that product need CA prop 65 declarations. To make it specific, you need to check all the docs and links individually, and then you will be clear about it. Mindset is simple; you know your situation best. It would be better if the system made it more specific to your problem by getting detailed information from you.

So far we got a good impression although this tool does not give us everything we need. It is a good way to check applicable regulatory items for specific products, but when you need dig deeper it won´t give us the help at this stege.

Label tool can be improved it should be useful as we cannot see the applicable logos and design of the label, but only the text.

We are also evaulating the lab test function and we will see how that goes.

Nice software, helpful. The onboarding is easy. It saves hours of research for each product.

Very comprehensive program, easy to use, excellent videos and support! They take what would be an overwhelming, near impossible task, and make it easy.

Being a recent platform it is far from getting perfect and help the more professional CRMs.
I think its a bright idea, although you need a lot of input to succeed in helping with more technical and specific questions questions.
