Very impressed with the very speedy and efficient service

I ordered the Alessi Trino Camel for my existing Eternity bay set. It came very quickly, was securely packaged to avoid any damage and I received detailed delivery information. The product is fantastic, so all in all, very satisfied!

APPALLING customer service and I would encourage potential customers to shop around and go elsewhere. I made an order a couple of weeks ago, no communication from them at all. I emailed 3 times, no response. Got so fed I called yesterday & spoke to Phil "the owner". He assured me I'd have a call back today - not happened. I want a full refund and to take my business elsewhere. Dreadful experience. AVOID is my advice.

I ordered my cabanaz mugs last Friday. They were delivered on Monday. I was very impressed with the speed of the delivery and the communications from the delivery company.
Unfortunately one of the mugs had a manufacturing fault, so I emailed Connections at home, attaching photographs of the flaw and requested a replacement mug. I spoke to a representative of the company at the same time. He couldn't have been more helpful and I received my replacement mug today (Wednesday). I will certainly order from this company again and based on such a positive experience would highly recommend them, and the company they use for deliveries. Incidentally I love the cabanaz mugs, they are exactly what I wanted.

Absolutely dreadful.
I have never dealt with such an awful company. At first I thought they were simply incompetent, but I actually think they are quite deceitful.
I can't believe any of the positive reviews on here are real unless they were dealing with a different company. My experience mirrors all the negative reviews.
Ordered a table on 22 April, was told delivery would be 4 weeks, after 4 weeks was told it would be 5-6 weeks. After 11 weeks I contacted the manufacturer in Spain directly to see if an order had actually been placed.14 weeks later ( from the date of order) the table was delivered; in the wrong colour. It took another week to get the right item and only after I said I was raising it as a dispute with my bank
During this whole saga I never got a true apology merely excuses. It was completely ridiculous.
I would strongly advise anyone thinking of ordering through them to find the item elsewhere.
Will be interested to see what response 'Phil and team' will make to this review as its completely true.

Re response from Connections at home: You were completely aware of the issues and never communicated clearly with me. You were extremely defensive to criticism and blamed everyone but yourselves for the delay. Your attitude and service are beyond terrible. I stand by my review.

I ordered something on 22nd May, its 29th June and still not got my order.
They are a waste of time, no response to emails or PayPal dispute.
I got my order confirmation, but no tracking, emailed a few times, but no reply, opened a PayPal dispute and no reply, I just give up.
Im just glad I could open a dispute with PayPal to try and get my money back.

UPDATE 01/07/22.
So my order has been received. I am very happy with the items. I am actually thinking about ordering more.
The time from placing my order online in BUSINESS DAYS to receiving the items was 29 days (or 39 normal days). I did see the note on the website about the 4 weeks delivery time, but as I was waiting longer than that and I emailed them and got no reply, I had to open a PayPal dispute AND write a review on here before I got any contact from them and my order was dispatched.
Now 6 weeks on, I have my order, I will increase my rating to 3 stars. Long delivery time (2 weeks more than stated on their site) and no communication from the seller means I give it a 3 out of 5.
Annoying thing is, I have had to mess about doing admin, writing reviews, reporting to PayPal, updating this review when my items arrive... Who likes doing admin work? All they had to do was email me and say item is coming but delayed. Oh well, done now. Happy days ahead.

Just purchased a Fermob patio table and chairs. Very limited stock generally in the UK market so thrilled to find the size and colour that I needed.
The dispatch was swift and the delivery first class with a very helpful delivery driver for whom nothing was too much trouble.
I have no hesitation in recommending connectionsathome to anyone who wants good quality and excellent service.

I ordered a 'Pedrali Dome 260 Chair Miniature (Set of 3)' on March 1st. They have not delivered since, it's May 4th now. I called them om March 31st to ask them to cancel my order, which they would do. I haven't received the order nor my money back since. DON'T BUY at this shop!

Placed an order over a month ago and have not yet received my goods. Payment was taken immediately.
I have emailed three times for an update but received no response. Today `I rang got a message saying no one available to take the call. BEWARE.

Terrible customer service and communication. Never respond to emails. Information given by phone is vague and inaccurate. Dreadful service from the courier they use too. Tracking number sent meant nothing. Even the courier didn’t recognise it! If you want to know when your item is coming don’t buy from this company. You’ll wait weeks, ring and email and You still won’t have a clue!!!

Would not recommend you use this company . Our first orders this company went smoothly.we have spent many thousands of pounds recently with Connections at home. The reception telephone sales staff are always helpful and pleasant. All Fermob furniture. Since then their service has been deplorable. We gave them excellent feedback first purchases. Since then delivered items badly damaged and not sufficiently packaged. To remedy this we brought in a technician at great expense as we needed the chair and whilst did not expect Connections to cover this cost did expect their owner and sales staff to at least respond to mails details the issues and reparation this Fermob rocking chair. The company would have refunded the chair but this would have meant Re ordering and a wait of 8/12 weeks. Another chair with a missing part to base of leg missing was remedied by part sent out to ourselves. Again insufficiently packaged. Another delivery booked for a Monday arrives a Saturday unexpectedly. No warning. Then a purchase on condition arrived on a certain day did not arrive and until we speak to P Force is difficult to determine who was at fault here. Parcel Force are normally v reliable. The owner Phil does not respond to emails. A generally chaotic approach. Their value originally was buying inside the uk and a speedy despatch. Fermob is largely obtained from European sellers. A shame as a promising start with v obliging sales staff and appears to be ruined by chaotic and disinterested administration.

My order arrived at requested address - all okay and satisfactory.
However I then received notification from my old address (I’d recently sold my property) that a parcel had arrived for me.
I wasn’t expecting anything - but had to drive a distance to go to pick up this parcel.
Extremely inconvenient.
I discovered an unsolicited package from Connections. On examining the invoice I noted the contents were intended for customer in another country!
I contacted Connections to appraise them of their chaotic administrative/despatch error.
No apology for inconvenience caused to me.
AND I was now required to be inconvenienced further to wait in for a courier to pick up the incorrectly dispatched and addressed item.
Chaotic!
AND no apology.

Shocking service.

I ordered a clock on 23 January and despite my emails and calls I have heard nothing from them.

I telephoned and was told that I would definately have the goods by yesterday. I am still waiting.

No communication from this company at all.
