Total rip-off. List my phonein a western state. Used CoolTracker, and what a joke. With in minutes of loosing the phone, CoolTeacker identified in in Washington, D.C.. THAT IS 1700 MILES FROM WHERE I LOST IT MINUTES BEFORE. Total fraud. How are the allowed to operate as a business?

As others have reported. Scam company.
Offers to locate a lost phone for £0.10 but they direct you to Washington usa (although we are in the Uk) This is obviously a way of obtaining your bank details.
Then they setup a automated monthly subscription of £48.90, without your knowledge.
Requested cancellation and a refund by direct email and via PayPal within 24 hours. Payment has been reversed and will hopefully stay that way.,

SCAM COMPANY took £49.80 from my account today.

Scam beware .. twice tried taking out £49.80 thankfully bank declined

When I created an account CT immediately set up a monthly direct debit without my permission or seeing the cost.
When going to cancel the account nothing happened and I ended up cancelling my payment card to stop the payments.

Total scam. The website encourages you to pay 10 pence but take £50 from your bank a week later. To add to this they don't even track your phone. They were saying my phone was in Washington. How can anyone get away with this is beyond me. There is little your bank can do. Please avoid at all costs. I hope these scammers get their come uppance.

A complete scam. Mis representing services and preying on vulnerable people who’ve lost their phone. You authorise small fee ( 38p) for an initial search which doesn’t allow them to find your phone but says ‘pending’ creating hope they are trying. Then you are charged £48.90 for a subscription you have not agreed to.
I went through my credit card provider to dispute this with evidence of their response after emailing requesting a refund. TheCC provider successfully pursued a refund .

Disgraceful this is a scam.
Supposed to be 34p to find my sons phone but proceeded to take £49.80 out my bank, it never found the phone as im in UK and didnt move from Washington DC wont respond to emails just gets sent back. Get sent to a third party chat to cancel but the Service is abnormal.

I went to track my sons phone , paid 38p for Washington DC I’m in the uk . Tried loads to get a response and it’s just generated email replies. Finally was able to get it cancelled response from cool tracker ( 3rd party) cancelled ongoing payments with PayPal. Unfortunately the 38p was found in their favour as I wasn’t quick enough to cancel , although I did within an hour realised it was a con.

Avoid with all cost this app is a scam £50 been taken out my bank account when it should of been free to find my phone there no person to speak to the bank can't do any thing please don't download this app.

Avoid at at all cost. Totally agree with all previous comments, took payment of £49.80 to show me a map of Washington DC, live in the UK!

98% of people can’t be wrong, offered to find my phone for 25p, showed me a map of Washington US
Knew I was being ripped off as I am in the UK, so cancelled everything within 60 seconds, payment taken from my bank £49.80

A FRAUD - CHINESE OWNED WEB SITE

Support does not respond to emails cancelling service and reuestin refund for a service that does not work! Avoid and I shall be taking legal action

I signed up and was trapped into a subscription of £49 per month . It took two months to find out how to cancel a subscription for a service I never received. They use Try as a platform and are linked to Hong Kong Soouda. No one answers the e mails and you are just sent in a loop .

Complete scam. No indication of being a subscription service, charged just shy of $50 within 24 hours and service not fulfilled. Requested a refund and told it could take 6 months and may not be a full refund- automated messages. Lodged a complaint with my bank who are
issuing the refund. Upon lodging the complaint I received an email from them saying I should stop the bank's investigation or I may not receive my refund for their scammy subscription. Obviously will be leaving this for the bank to deal with and finding a way to get this 'company' shut down.

I used this company to help find a lost phone. After enquiring why my request was 'pending' they said they had sent a text link to the phone. We finally found the phone (without their help) and they had never sent anything. I did manage to get a refund though.

Its a scam that does not work. Customer support just sends you copy paste awnsers, bo solution.
