This has been my son’s favorite camp
This has been my son’s favorite camp, he says it’s amazing. The staff are all kind and it’s been fun to see the videos he produced. Thank you to the Creator Camp staff at the First Unitarian location - Brooke, Sam and all - for a great experience. On that note, the location is also very convenient near the Museum district. We’ll be back.

Such a cool experience
Such a cool experience. We absolutely loved Mr. MB (Brandon Michael Taylor) who led the special effects camp. Our child came in hesitant the first day, not sure if they wanted to be there. Mr. MB was incredible and when I picked up my child they couldn’t wait to go back. My child learned so much and had a blast. Best decision ever to attend!

My daughter had an amazing time
My daughter had an amazing time! The counselors were all very kind, supportive, and encouraging. Here is what my daughter thought about her teachers:
Mr. Choy was very relaxed and always made sure that the kids who didn't wish to play the other games had something to do.
Ms. Ronnie was very helpful with the technology. She answered questions quickly and thoroughly.
Ms. Shannon was so energetic with everything that she did. She was always smiling, and my daughter has nothing but good things to say about her.
Ms. Emily was funny and full of life. She really made my daughter feel special, and my daughter was disappointed that she didn't get a chance to say goodbye.
Overall, she had a great experience! We had never done Creator Camp before, but we're so glad that we did - and looking forward to more camps later this summer! We enthusiastically recommend Creator Camp.

Our ‘girly girl’ daughter loved it
Our ‘girly girl’ daughter really enjoyed her Lego Friends Animation camp she did alongside her friend! She was encouraged with positive support by the staff, loved all the fun branded swag rewards, the music upon entry, fun poll question each morning and learned about how she can use screen technology to create film, which gave her an unique learning experience to add to the traditional education for her age.
Only issue was it rained everyday so they didn’t get to go outside for playtime/break, but based on photos I found online, the playground equipment at the Gosawmi school (building the camp was held in) is in need of an upgrade. But the location in proximity to where we live was great!

My son had a great time at Creator Camp BattleBots and Miss Ruby and Miss Abby made it fun and let them explore their creativity with cardboard and toothpicks to encase robots that have been programmed by their tablets and genius abilities for fun and collaboration.

1st creator camp experience...
Our experience with creator camp was great! Our son was signed up for Minecraft architect and had the best time learning new ways to use his brainpower for building in Minecraft. His teacher, Ms. Lia did such a great job keeping him interested in the material and helping him feel included with the older kids. He even got a specialized note from Ms. Lia at the end of the class encouraging him to continue learning!
He had an awesome time and we will be returning for other classes.

My daughters had a wonderful experience at Roblox Masters camp! They came home each day excited to share what they learned and created. The camp did an excellent job combining creativity, problem-solving, and fun in a way that kept them engaged all week long.
A special thank you to Ms. Luna for making the experience so memorable. She was patient, encouraging, and connected so well with the kids. It was clear she genuinely cared about her students and created a positive, welcoming environment where they felt comfortable and confident.
We are so grateful for such a great experience and would highly recommend this camp to other families. My daughters are already asking when they can come back! 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Minecraft Camp at Keller Pointe
My son loved the camp at Keller Pointe from June 15th-June 19th. His instructor (I believe Mr. Jones?) was fantastic! Very friendly and great with the kids. Highly recommend for any Minecrafters interested in a summer camp!

Positive Camp Experience!
My son really enjoyed his experience at Creator Camp! Miss Grace was friendly welcoming as were the rest of the staff I interacted with. I was a little disappointed that the Battlebots had gotten canceled due to low attendance but he enjoyed the Minecraft coders and modders just the same.

Battlebots Camp
My son really enjoyed Battlebots Camp! He came home smiling and excited to tell me all about it, and normally he’s so quiet. He enjoyed the camp topic as well as the downtime during breaks to rest his brain and socialize with the other campers. Special thanks to Trey and Abby!

My son has a lot of fun but stop taking his nut free sandwiches
My son has a lot of fun in this camp, thank you Mr. Trey for your added support and making a connection with him. When I scrapbook his summer, your notes will make it in his memories. Thank you Ms. Roxy for all your support of my son.
I don't like their methods of eliminating nut products from campers lunches. My son described it like this; someone announces to the campers if they have peanut butter products to raise their hands. Then they go around and pick up every product without replacing it or giving parents the option of bringing a replacement.
I understand the allergy concern, but, my son's sandwiches were taken from him and it was not brought to my attention until another camp had already started. When I asked why they didn't reach out to me, they replied that they can't call every parent of every camper they take food from. Is it that many?? The truth is, my son has never actually eaten, "peanut butter" his entire life. The word, "peanut butter," is a household name people call any nut or non-nut butter spreads. Most parents use sun-flower seed butter due to the allergy restrictions, but, the staff does not confirm this before trashing the kids lunch. After explaining that I make my son's lunches and his sandwiches contain sunflower seed butter, which is nut-free. She apparently didn't believe me because she felt that she had to confirm this with my wife the day after.
Not calling the parents gives the impression that they aren't concerned about how little the child is eating for lunch. I was upset after learning that my son had only eaten crackers, cheese and fruit for 3 days of lunch. The person I spoke with about it had an unapologetic attitude and came across that she made the right decision throwing my son's sandwiches away. This interaction has damage trust and now from one camp to the next I'm concerned someone may throw away anything my son has if it remotely resembles products containing nuts.
Other than that, staff is nice, my son has fun, he is learning something new and they get a break to play outside. The camp hands out creator bucks and they also have trading cards, which are cool incentives. It would be nice if they had creator camp wallets and trading card binders in their merch to hold the incentives they give the campers.
Creator camp is a great program and great company. Despite the above incident, I would recommend this to other parents.

We love that his camp memories and notes will be making it into your family scrapbook, and we appreciate your kind words about our curriculum, Creator Bucks, and trading cards (and we love your merch ideas for wallets and binders!).
However, we are incredibly sorry for the frustration and breakdown in communication regarding your son’s lunches.
Because we operate as a strictly nut-free camp and have students with severe nut allergies on site, our staff erred on the side of caution. That being said, we completely understand your frustration. Puting aside a nut-free alternative like sunflower seed butter without properly verifying it with you first is not how this should have been handled.
We are also very sorry for the lack of immediate communication and the defensive tone you experienced when you reached out. You absolutely should have been notified the very first day his lunch was questioned. We have spoken directly with our management team to ensure that communication protocols are greatly improved. Moving forward, if an instructor is unsure about a food item, they are required to contact the parent directly to confirm rather than making a unilateral decision.
We deeply value your trust and are so grateful that, despite this stressful incident, you still recommend our program. We would love the opportunity to chat with you directly to ensure we have a clear note on your son's profile regarding his sunflower seed butter lunches for any future sessions. Please feel free to reach out to our administration team so we can make this right.
