I can't register the kit. When I enter the code I get the message "Unable to register." If I try again, I get a message to click indicating I'm not a robot. But I still can't register the kit. There's an AI chat assist, but they want $5 for the service. I've already spent over $130, $137, I think, so I'm not going to spend another $5 to be ripped off by this company.

I was expecting details about my heritage as well as my moms and dad's but I was only shown a percentage of different nationalities

If I could give negative stars, I would!
My report was COMPLETELY wrong, stating one grandparent (born 1870-1945) was Han Chinese and one (born 1870-1945) was Bengali.
I personally knew all 4 of my grandparents born in the 1880’s and not one of them was of either of these nationalities. Don’t waste your money, CRI is a complete scam. Nothing else was worth reading after that.

I have more questions than answers. I was expecting a breakdown of paternal and maternal ancestry😞

Paid full price for membership and still have to buy additional credits to read reports. Very slow response to get report. Seems like a scam to hook you into spending more and more money.

The health reports have been very helpful. I thought I had a gluten intolerance but found out from reports that that probability was low but I had a high probability for an allergy to wheat. So I paid attention to my reaction to gluten from another source than wheat. In short I didn’t have the normal reaction. Also the mitochondrial test really opened my eyes to my ancestors from my mother’s side.It also helped me to know the Peruvian connection was thru my mother’s side. Since the Incan mummy girl had the same haplo group as mine. Very interesting. I’m very glad I did more than the basic DNA test.

Bad specification, It just says Eastern slav. You really can't be more specific? Plus $100 to unlock relative finder temporally? Everything I mean EVERYTHING is an extra fee.

Generic information for too much money and they constantly have marketing emails to get you to purchase more.

Needs improvements:
What I liked with CRIGenetics is that they give you updates through your email about your up coming dna results. I also like how they organized my results, however, I noticed how broad the results are and how they are not as accurately pinpointing on the map. They're on point with accurately detecting my majority English, German, and Northwestern european results, but again, they are broad and missing my known Irish roots. Spanish was a surpise as that was exactly what I wanted to use CRI Genetics to test out if I actually did have Spanish ancestry to cross reference between my already tested DNA companies such as 23andMe and FamilyTreeDNA as their updated reference panels say that I have trace results of Spanish on both of them ( FTDNA showed a result of Iberian at 18%, MENA at <1% followed by Sephadic Jewish at <1%). I do wonder if that Spanish coming out is the result of my Northern Itialian side or the borader Mediterranean connection through migrations.
The deep ancestry was interesting and yet questionable when it comes to the trace results (i.e., when you see a percentage of ethnicity at 3%-2% or even 0.10%). CRI Genetics shows that I might have a distant ancestor who came from South Asia from different generations on the timeline. Im wondering if CRI Genetics is confusing potenial distant ancestor to related ancient populations like with My Heritage. At MyHeritage they have their Ancient Ancestry analysis that also shows a low percentage of that same South Asian connection. The results are similar to my results that I tested with Genomelink who also needs updated reference panels on their end.
The biggest thing that needs to improve is their claim on tracing possible ancestors back 50 generations as mine only reached to 35 generations with the ancestor being from India. On a blog they did make it clear that it would be impossible to accurately test all ancestors. Since it looks like they don't have a deep ancestry reference population to test with actual archeology sites this claim makes the supposed timeline going back 50 generations more of prediction then over all accurately detecting your ancestor from 1,000 years ago.
To conclude, CRIGenetics has the potential to become a rival towards mainstream DNA companies, but it needs to evolve; it's lack of appropriate, updated reference panels make it hard to decern the company's accuracy with its practice in science. The company also needs to recover their reputation and credibility from a serious lawsuit from 2023 charged for deceiving customers and shady advertising methods. The company will NEED to recall their pricing methods using monthly or annual subcriptions to be more affordable and not charge $100s or more for credits to open all reports. To potential new customers interested in trying out CRIgenetics, please do your own research on the company and if they don't improve, do not waste your money! You can still try it out if you want, but the company needs to improve in a lot of areas to make itself equal to other DNA companies.

My report was completely inconsistent with my family history and my prior DNA testing.

Very little more recent information. My wife's Ancestry report over 5 years ago actually pinpointed the exact area of Norway that her grandmother was born in. This report just said I am 66% Scandinavian, when I'm told I'm half Finnish. Really NOT worth the money.

My initial experience started with seeing they had charged my credit card for $322.29, when I had ordered the basic test for $129.26. They had added on additional tests. I wrote that I wanted those removed. They did that, but it took several emails to convince them I meant what I said. Then when the test swabs were sent, they included another kit, and were charging me for it, if used. I wrote I did not intend to use it, was I to send it back, and after a couple of more emails...got it taken off my acct. We used the swabs we wanted tested, and paid extra for fast results . This came back in a month's time, and was just an email on line, with some arrows on several countries and some percentages.
I know family lore can be incorrect, but some heritage facts we were sure of, were not evident in the results, and we feel since we did not give them the clues we were looking for, (that they asked for) so they couldn't use them and we would get a true list of results, we are confused as to the genuine results. I guess you get what you pay for, but a months worth of emails amounting to about 8 or more....I have to say I definitely do not recommend this company and if I'd read the other reviews first, would not have wasted my money.
This was a Birthday present for my husband.
Rating their customer service is difficult as they responded rapidly , full of sugar and pep talk, but did not seem to be connected to the real research going on, but was located countries away, at least the persons I spoke had various accents and the connections were poor. I just feel this whole thing was a big waste of time and money....do not use them to get true results and get pressured to buy upgraded tests that might not even be true.

Their results did not match other tests I had run nor did their results match my genealogy research. The results were so off-base that I seriously think I gave me else's results. (For instance, the other tests and my research indicated more than 60% of my ancestors come from one country; CRI says I have no DNA from there.) When I questioned them, they told me they don't make mistakes. After multiple questions, they agreed to look into it. That was three-months ago and there has been no follow up nor have they responded to my requests for updates.
This is not a trustworthy company.

First of all I was very disappointed I had to pay import fees on this - I did not realize it wasn't Canadian. Second - I had to request the return label as my kit did come with one. I paid extra to have the report expedited and now my dashboard says it could take 30 - 60 days to get any Relative Finder matches.
The report I received has no personal information, I already know what colour my eyes are and what shape my nose is. The ancestry information is extremely vague and I quite disagree with it knowing my own ancestry quite well. I feel this was a waste of time and money.
The only positive comment I have is that when I needed to contact customer service in the beginning they were very prompt and helpful.
