Very bad quality product

Ordered the Caper Cards: Bells Hells game. Almost €30 with shipping. The cards are very bad qualiy, many print default, withe stains ont the face of crew cards, brown stains on the back of almost every cards.

Customer support kindly offered to send a new product. The new product is worse than the first one, even more ink stains everywhere.

Very disappointed of the quality of the product, espécially for the price : €14,99 for a simple cards deck.

Products were fine but beware of this company.

The product and shipping were fine. My daughter loved the items but almost a month after I placed my order and received the items, there was a suspicious phantom "pending" transaction from Critical Role in my bank account for the same exact dollar amount as my order. The company completely denies this but my bank and I know differently. I had to cancel my debit card and file a claim with my bank. I emailed the company several times about the issue but they denied it was them and offered no further explanation.

Critical Role needs more transparent customer service and to vet who they ship through

Just a heads up for anyone ordering from the Critical Role merch store: orders may be shipped through a company called GLS, which has a terrible reputation for delivery issues.

In my experience, GLS:

-Took an extremely long time to respond to redelivery requests, so long in fact that the package was returned to the sender before I heard back even after I tried calling and emailing multiple times.

-Their warehouses are in rural locations for some areas, so if you want to try picking up the package, it's a 30+ minute drive or just impossible to get if you don't have a car.

-Provides basically no tracking so it's very unclear where where your package actually is

-When you are able to hear back from them, they either don't know the status of the package and will contradict each other or be flat out rude out of the gates.

If you look at reviews for GLS, a lot of people have experienced the exact same issues.

I contacted Critical Role customer service, but the solutions offered were not great and not well communicated:

-Reshipping was offered, but it was not disclosed until after over a week of back and forth and me almost accepting the offer, that the package would only be resent with 1 out of 3 items because the other 2 items now sold out (both originally purchased on sale and one now unavailable entirely). I have no idea why they refused to resend the original package that had all 3 items.

-They stated that they do not know which carrier is used per shipment, meaning that even after this experience and all the issues with GLS, the reshipment would have potentially been sent through GLS again and everything would have repeated.

-A refund was offered, but only after I accepted did I find out through the refund notification email, that the shipping cost was not refunded. It was only when I followed up that I was told shipping is non-refundable, despite the issue being caused by the shipping company they used.

You can see from the other reviews on here that this is not an isolated experience.

If you order from Critical Role and your package is shipped via GLS, I hope you have a better experience than I did. Otherwise, be prepared to never receive the package, spend weeks calling and emailing GLS and Critical Role, and ultimately being out about $12 in shipping with nothing to show for it.

If anybody who works for Critical Role is reading this, please vet who you ship through so others don't have to deal with this and be more transparent about your shipping and refund policies.

My package has been bouncing around…

My package has been bouncing around USPS terminals in Florida for over a week and customer service suggests I reach out to their carrier for an update. Most companies understand the carrier has no loyalty to those not on the account. Usually a company will take responsibility for their carrier issues. Not these guys. Zero customer service or accountability. I have no answers and no holiday gift to give. BUYER BEWARE!

Customer service continues to be…

Customer service continues to be terrible, based on previous customer reviews. DHL passed my package to the USPS who then indicated my package was delivered. I do not have the package. But how do I prove that?

I reach out to critical role customer service only to be told I have to wait 3 business days before they can do anything. I follow up then. Then I get old that I specifically have to file a USPS claim before they can issue a refund. Or they can send the product again if I pay for shipping. I had already opened a USPS claim, but no surprise, they did not get back to me with any results. But I still don’t have my package, critical role refuses to refund me, and the USPS isn’t doing anything. I will never give money to this company in any form ever again. The failure of two businesses is somehow completely my responsibility as the customer. So lesson learned, this store is a fraud cheating customers out of their money.

No delivery, no refund of shipping cost. Beware!

Ordered christmas present in the end of November. They charged a good deal for shipping. No package arrived. When inquiring I was told to contact the courier, no help from the store whatsoever. No notifications about any shipment, eventually package was returned from god knows where to sender. Now they will not refund me for shipment. Amazingly bad service. Will never order again. Too bad for my daughter who loves them, almost makes me cry to think of.

Poor quality and EXPENSIVE!

Not worth the risk!!!

Ordered nearly £200 of merchandise for my sons 18th birthday, paid for 48 hour tracking despite ordering with ample time to spare. Carriers tracking states that they still awaiting package, the company state it’s with carrier and out of their hands. After numerous emails to Critical Role, they refused any responsibility, refused to try and locate package, refused proof of postage, refused a refund and stopped answering emails. Their customer service is applauding. I did not receive goods nor a refund, was out of pocket at the time of my sons birthday, now having to go through my bank to claim money back, who have been more than helpful.

Great quality products

Great quality products. Bought the long socks, Caleb jacket and Gilmore robe. All fit perfectly. The delivery system was very informative and straight forward. I did have to pay a delivery fee but given everything nowadays I was expecting it. All the items are long lasting. I have decided to buy more socks as they are thick and great for hiking.

Bad support. Never again.

Bought a bathrobe, it never arrived and it says that I refused to accept the parcel. (it never even arrived in my city...) so it got sent back to the shop. So I reached out to their support. I got my money back for the product but I didn't get the shipment costs back. If it were only 5 euros, okay. I could live with that. But the shipment costs were 30 euros!! So I contacted royal mail but they said its up to the sender to give me my money back. Well. Never got the full price back. Never again will I buy something from them. It was their duty that the product that I bought from them gets to me and they couldnt even care less. Thanks for that.

Bought some dice and they were ok. I knew about variances and what not. But my d6 wasn’t even close to what it was supposed to look like. Customer service said I’d have to pay shipping to get it replaced. SMH. Wrote a review on the shop and it was deleted.

DONT GET THE SEAN GILMORE STATUE- it is not weighted well and it will break outside of the box. Ive bought many things from this shop and I agree with the others that the shipping is simply exorbitant for the way things are packaged and the time it takes to get to you. Also the no refunds after 30 days policy is bogus.

Buyer Beware!

If I could give zero stars I would. This was not my first purchase, but it will be my last. Here's why:

I ordered a T-shirt from the shop, and had to pay $7.99 for shipping. Which I believe is high, but I paid it because I really wanted that shirt. I get the email confirmation for the order, then two days later another email with tracking information. Great so far, no concerns.

So I check back each morning to see when it will be delivered, and this is where the issue starts. My shirt sat in a city 5 hours away, in the same state, for 14 days!

I contacted the shipper first, who confirmed they had not yet received the package, then contacted the support team. I exchanged 8 emails with various random support members, they attempted to push me back to the shipper claiming it was out of their hands once shipped.

I repeatedly told them that the package had not even been given to the shipper, at which time I was informed that policy says they don't refund shipping for late delivery.

Not once did anyone show any concern over my purchase, nor did anyone seem to care that I had already done my due diligence by contacting the shipper first.

Long story short, they emailed me after I got the shirt. I again voiced my extreme displeasure at having to pay for shipping, then having to wait two weeks for my item. They just sent me another email thanking me for my feedback, giving me a half hearted apology but no refund for shipping.

I informed them any future purchase will be made through Hot Topic, and if they don't sell the item, I simply won't need it that bad.

The first purchase I made, was a map that arrived in damaged packaging that was open. No resolution there either, worst customer support ever.

Don't waste your money, you'll just end up frustrated. That shirt is still sitting in the bag they shipped it in, and I'm very upset with how I was treated. I work hard for my money, as I am sure we all do, and to say I feel unappreciated is an understatement.

I was very excited to buy new campaign guide...

Was very excited to buy a new campaign guide written by Matt. I was extremely disappointed when it arrived damaged with no thought put into the packaging. I tried to exchange the item only to be told that the item was no longer stocked and there was nothing they could do. I ordered the book the day it was released.

I will never understand why supposed 'geek' companies do everything in their power to force artificial scarcity. Why would you not just print more so your fans aren't forced to pay hundreds on the secondary market? I'm genuinely disappointed as I'd been looking forward to this release for a long time. Safe to say I wont be buying their stuff any longer.

Paid £10 for next day delivery, didn't receive item and they told me "tough luck".

Paid £10 for next day delivery.

The item cost £69.99 and delivery was £10.

The item wasn't delivered next day.

Received a patronising email stating there's nothing they can do about delivery issues. Their support emails begin with "Smiley day to you, Critter!". This wasn't a smiley day as this item was for my daughter's birthday.

I replied that there is something they can do - refund the £10 because I paid them for it, not the courier.

They graciously, as a one off exception, managed to offer me a £5 store credit towards future deliveries ("I was able to get approval for a one-time exception for you to issue store credit in the amount of £5")

I pointed out that this is no use to me because I won't use their store again and I haven't received the service I paid for. They should use a better courier if they have "issues" with the courier (it's DPD).

I have heard nothing since.

Beautiful items awful service

I've placed many orders with them and I have never not had an issue with my orders, they don't know what 24/48 hour delivery is and most recently they have managed to get the post code wrong despite the correct one being given. The products are beautiful but the service is awful it really let's critical role down.

No response

No response, a month and still no sign.

Ordered on 29th of November. From shipping I can see it was shipped from Germany, yet going to Ireland I still had to pay customs (!) And even though customs has been paid as soon as notified, theres no sign of the product moving forward. A month is ridiculous and to still not be here on 21 12, when it's q christmas gift, is beyond disappointing. Total lack of response aside from pointing me to obvious tracking info. Appalling service, won't be purchasing from them again.

The Critrole store support is terrible and unhelpful.

I've spoken with a Stephanie from the support team twice now just to get the item I bought sent to the right address and my replies have been ignored both times. It's been a month since my purchase and the whole time I've been just trying to get it sent to me. I've reached out a third time and this time just for a refund because I've given up on ever receiving my purchase and have been met with no replies. Currently I've lost the cost of my purchase as well as being left empty handed with no refund and no item.

The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because I love the merch and love the show but this whole event with the support team has completely ruined the store for me. I'm never going back.
