BEWARE

BEWARE! All was good until you initiate a refund for "Quota Reservation". Cryos accidentally refunded us twice, and requested us to return the funds. Fair.

However, despite agreeing on email to cover the transaction and foreign exchange fee for returning the sum "We prefer you make a transfer on EUR 350,- and all fees must be charged to us.", the accounts department then turned around and said "Please see below printscreen we only withdraw the payment of EUR 350,- and not the EUR 359,9 you were charged".

1. Either the person working in accounts has no clue how banking transaction fees and credit card foreign exchange fees work (which is worrying that they are handling our money); or
2. Outright liars (which is also worrying).

I would give no stars if that were possible. It does not pay to be kind.

Update: We did provide ALL proofs at first instant (I am a Chartered Accountant). Cryos’ accounts team failed to understand the screenshots from bank accounts. They did eventually return the difference after a few days but not before getting all defensive.

It is correct that the Quota Reservation refund accidentally happened twice, however, we did cover the remaining EUR that you mention, even though you would not provide us with proof of the foreign exchange fee that you claim to have had. It is common procedure to ask for proof that you got that fee.

Hands off Cryos

Hands off Cryos! After I had already paid for the treatment includin donor sperm and traveled to Denmark, I was told that at my age (41) it was almost impossible and the treatment was canceled by Cryos. There has been no refund for the treatment and I have been waiting almost four months for the refund for the donor sperm. First they give you hope, take your money and then cancel the treatment!

We want to clarify a few things with regards to your review: In cases with women in their 40s, we always inform about the low chances and risk of cancellation before patients arrive at the clinic. We wouldn't cancel anyone who would have follicles ready for IUI or IVF treatment. We always inform about the circumstances – and risks – there are when you are about to receive treatment at our clinic.

Awful experience - embryo destroyed

Purchased sperm to be used in my ivf from cryos Denmark - I had ivf and using this sperm created embryos- after 3 transfers I had 2 early miscarriages and one no implantation and still had one embryo left - days before my last transfer , I recieved notification that one of the sperm donors offspring may have a genetic disease that’s required copies from both the mother and father - my embryo was quarantined while they did testing apparently- after 3 months of very poor communication and lack of empathy - they Barely replyed to any email and took weeks to do so - the sperm donor would not have genetic testing to confirm so they permanently blocked the sperm donors embryos - I had to destroy my last embryo- overall, this was a terrible experience- they don’t care about you- they make it clear in every email that you have no rights and no claim for compensation. never use this company because there is a problem they show their true colours - I want to make woman aware that this company Cryos could not care less about you and tbh I felt their treatment was cruel and uncaring - the geneticist didn’t even reply to my email asking for further information why my embryos had been blocked - customer service also very unhelpful. I hope to make as many people aware of my situation as possible to prevent them using this sperm bank and wasting their money if they have a situation like mine -

Furthermore, the process of correctly assessing the condition of the donor and taking the right precautions can be lengthy, hence the long waiting times you may have experienced. Selling sperm with male factor infertility

I would advise anyone using this sperm bank to be very very careful. They claim ‘high quality sperm’ however they say they do not test morphology and are selling sperm with morphology of 3%, which is under the World Health Organisation and HFEA parameters of 4%. Morphology under that is called teratozoospermia, a condition affecting male fertility

It’s absolutely shocking that a company claiming to be helping people achieve their family dreams, would sell a product that has completely hindered the treatment, not once but 3 times.

They have not responded to complaints either and just offered to ship an additional straw of the same donor.

If you have had failed cycles, before you blame yourself and the quality of your eggs, please ask your clinic for the sperm analysis, as it can’t be ruled out as an issue, if you have used a Cryos donor!

Absolutely horrific service

Absolutely horrific service. Fine if everything goes smoothly but the minute something goes wrong, they are rude, ignore emails and are extremely insensitive. I have been told the donor i used and spent £30k making embryos with has had 2 babies born with a likely genetic condition. I would like some compensation to cover the fact I now need to do more ivf yet cryos have been nothing but unhelpful, rude, ignorant and insensitive. if you can find a different sperm bank, stay well away from cryos! Extremely unprofessional and should be taken out of business.

Medarbejderne er forvirret og…

Medarbejderne er forvirret og uprofessionelle.

Da jeg kom ind første gang, og ville lave et depot, grundet sygdom, kigger en medarbejder på min sæd i mikroskop da jeg afleverer, og melder ud at der er ikke meget aktivitet på det, og at det kunne være svært at få børn på naturlig vis. Voldsom mavepuster, og tænkte at det var en hård melding at få, men hvis der var sådan det var er det jo nødvendigt.
Den tog hårdt på mig, men da jeg så får lab svar, viser det sig at det ser helt fint ud, og kun er en anelse under normalen. Voldsomt uprofessionelt at komme med sådan et skøn, og give mig og min bedre halvdel sådan en msvrpuster, hvis man ikke er sikker på noget som helst.

Nok om det.

Jeg betalte for et 2 års depot, og er så heldig at min kone blev gravid efter 1 år, og kun et par uger inde i processen, dermed er depotet ikke længere nødvendigt.

Jeg efterspørger derfor kreditering på det år som jeg har tilbage, fordi de fortalte da jeg forudbetalte for 2 år at det var en mulighed blot at lukke depot og få penge tilbage, derfor kunne jeg bare betale for lidt ekstra tid.

Jeg snakker med dem, og får at vide at det er ikke en mulighed.
Bliver senere ringet op, at det var fejlagtigt, hun har nu undersøgt det, og selvfølgelig kunne jeg opsige og få penge tilbage.

Jeg opsiger mit depot som guidet, og efterspørger hvornår kreditering vil komme. Får så besked på, at kreditering ikke er muligt, det gør de ikke, den information får jeg på mail. Her bliver jeg irriteret og fortæller at det gør de, det er jeg fortalt adskillige omgange nu.

Ringer dem op, og medarbejderen i telefonen siger at det er rigtigt at de ikke kreditere.. Hun ringer så tilbage efter en time og siger hun også har taget fejl. Imens en helt 3 eller 4 medarbejder på mail holder på at kreditering ikke er noget de gør i. Nu sejler det da fuldstændig tænker jeg. Den ene ved ikke hvad den anden laver, og ingen kender tilsyneladende deres egne prosessen eller politik om opsigelse. Her har jeg brugt ret meget tid.

Men de har nu alle fundet ud af at det kan jeg godt få. Pengene er sendt til kreditering, det er snart en måned siden, men intet er kommet tilbage. Bliver spændende.

Det virker i min verden som top uprofessionelle medarbejdere, der arbejder med et ømt område, hvor ting som ovenstående bare skal køre på skinner.
Ingen ved hvad den anden ved, det virker som om ingen er informeret om ret meget.
