I spent £103 on 22 chili rasbora. Received strawberry rasbora instead, different species. I immediately spotted this, sent photos, including a detailed description of the obvious difference between the species of fish, even as juveniles on close inspection there is noticeable differences. They admitted twice it was stawberry or phoenix rasbora. As they were still pale from postage, I said I will let them settle for 2 weeks, benefit of the doubt, declined the 10% discount voucher offered. As expected, after 2 weeks these fish has not 'transformed' into chili rasbora... I asked a £20 refund, as if I bought the same fish locally it would be around £80, they actually asked me to go to the shop and provide them with evidence/photos, trying to making me jump through hoops, for their mistake. They once again tried to fob me off with a £10 voucher. They even had the odacity to tell me after multiple email exchanges: "We stock variations of these and cannot guarantee an exact variation" which is absolute nonsense, it does not say that on rasbora page or clear anywhere obvious, or I would not have bought them. If it was a shrimp I would accept accidental 'variation', not a species of fish. I only ever kept chili rasbora and now my whole setup is a mixed species I did not want. I would not order from here again, they admittedly sold me the wrong fish and making out a different species as a 'variation' is not acceptable, I only asked for £20 back out of £103. I don't want to spend more money with them so discount vouchers is useless.

My experience with cuaquatics was great. I ordered some shrimp and snails and they were dispatched on Monday evening and arrived safely Tuesday morning. They were all alive and in good health and packaged well, and have settled into my tank with no problems at all.

Ordered on 20/12/25 arrived super fast and 8/10 alive shrimp ( notoriously prone to stress when travelling) on 22/09/26. Well packaged and very clean water in transit bottle. Offer of replacements to be sent with next order, or refund.

Placed my order and was pleased with the pricing. There was an issue with delivery (entirely down to royal mail) and company was supportive and helpful getting it resolved. I recently purchased livestock from Cuaquatics and, overall, I’m satisfied with both the service and the fish I received.

The positives:
Communication was very good throughout.
The livestock arrived very well packaged and at an appropriate temperature.
Prices were very reasonable compared with other suppliers.
All livestock arrived safely, with no dead-on-arrival fish.
After 7 days, the fish remain healthy, active and feeding well.

Points worth being aware of:
I ordered a specific species that was shown as available on the Cuaquatics website. A day or two later, I received an email explaining that the fish had been delayed, apparently due to the supplier and circumstances surrounding the Mount Krakatoa eruption. Obviously, delays outside the retailer's control are completely understandable.
However, this did make me wonder whether the website's stock availability necessarily means the livestock are physically in stock at Cuaquatics at the time of ordering. For anyone ordering a specific species, it may therefore be worth contacting Cuaquatics beforehand to confirm that the fish are actually on hand and available for dispatch.

The livestock arrived the following week without any issues, and they have continued to look healthy. I appreciate that quarantine practices vary between aquatic retailers, and I have no direct knowledge of Cuaquatics' quarantine procedures. However, the experience did make me consider what quarantine period, if any, new livestock receive before being offered for sale. This is particularly relevant when a retailer provides a guarantee for dead-on-arrival fish, but that guarantee does not cover health problems that develop subsequently.

Overall, I had a positive experience with Cuaquatics and remain satisfied with the purchase I made. My advice would simply be to be well informed before ordering, particularly if you are looking for a specific species and want to know whether it is physically in stock and what quarantine procedures may apply.
The most important take away is that the fish arrived safely and, seven days later, are still healthy and active, so I'm pleased with the outcome. Thank you Cuaquatics.

The site is simple and easy to navigate. I love the selection of fish and the prices beat almost everywhere else I almost always buy here then in a store. Ive never had any issues with any of the fish ive bought here. Ive bought shrimp and even when I missed the delivery a few times they were completely fine and all lived without issue. This store truly respects its customers and I will continue to boast and share it

Was kept updated on my order as there was a slight delay due to weather (not the shops fault) all my assassin snails and red whiptail arrived fully intact. Sadly lost a couple of shrimp but extra were added to my order as it is normal for them to die in transit. All in all very happy with the price and contact with the shop will definitely be back for more fish and shrimp and possibly assassin snails if my infestation of ram snails continues

I ordered a few shrimp and some fish from CUAquatics.co.uk.
The blue of the shrimp, is electric. So bright. The gold shrimp are very bright as well.
All the fish seem fine aside from one with a bit of tail fin damage.
They answered email really fast and everything went efficiently.
My order arrived when it was supposed to. My only problem is that I really want to order more right now.

Fast delivery and secure packaging. Ordered 5 Blue Diamond shrimp, which arrived within 2 working days. The shrimp were secure in a sealed bottle with a large piece of netting for them to hang onto during shipping. All shrimp acclimated well and are happily living in my tank.
