This is trash. DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY! It took 3 months for the products to arrive and when it did, there was spillage in the box. The liquids didn't have a protective cap to prevent this. BUYER BEWARE!!! Whoever owns this company should give free products, buy 1 and get 10 free! GARBAGE!!

Company is a bogus and dishonest FRAUD! I ordered the 10 for $100 bundle on January 3rd. The product was scheduled to be shipped by January 30th. The date came and went. I reached out a week later and after receiving AI auto responses the owner posts a video explaining order delays due to missing an ingredient and promises all pre-orders would be shipped by Feb 15th. The date came and went. Again I reached out, and again AI responses were recieved in both email and via their fb page. Only when I started threatening legal action did what seemed like a "real" person ever reach out. Keep in mind this whole time the owner is promoting spring bundles and promising shipping on those orders by March 15th. The company contiously deletes negative comments, missing order inquires and reviews from their page and the comments that remain are either bot responses or are old comments updated to appear recent. Dispute your claim with your banking facility because at this point trying to contact the business directly will only end in frustration. As of March 1st my credit card company has refunded my purchase.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible customer service. I ordered products for the first time as part of the owner’s 10 for $10 campaign to save CurlMix. I placed an order on Dec 1st and today is Mar 4th and I have received NOTHING. I want my money back. I have reached out multiple times and received no feedback. Patience and grace have gone out the window. It’s crazy because I am local to the company (Chicago area)!!! Then the owner has the audacity to have more of these “campaigns”, but cannot fulfill the original orders in a timely fashion. We helped save her sinking ship and this is the thanks we get? Her team can’t even respond to a correspondence? Never again!

I tried to support what seemed to be a failing black owned business. I ordered December 26, 2025. Its now February 16 2026 and I still have not my order nor any communication. I think they did a money grab and scammed every one. Unfortunately some other small business will have to pay for it with lack of support.

I really try to support my community of black own businesses. When Curl Mix was struggling to stay open, I supported the campaign by buying the bundle deal on December 30, for $100.00. However, I have not receive my order. I have requested a full refund and I will never order from this company ever again.

Curlmix is a scam. O not buy from them. They will take your money and not ship te product. They give you the eyn around and keep saying the reason my order hasn't shipped is because they have a lot of orders and there are product delays. I ordered 6 weeks ago and still have not gotten my items. I see why they are going out of business. They area deceptive and unprofessional business.
If this is how they run a business, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I just started using Curlmix wash and go product. After using the wash and go shampoo and the wash and go conditioner my scrap started burning. I rinsed my hair each time. So I added the moisturizer but then noticed my hair was falling out. I have discontinued using the product. I will return the product to the company where it was ordered.

I don’t know what products they use, but it made my hair fall out!!! I’m trying to figure out how to send pictures!!!

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this review. As a customer of Curl Mix, I have celebrated their success from Shark Tank to Who Wants to be a Millionaire to now their stock investment opportunity. Unfortunately, recently I experienced merchant false advertising and sales fraud which have devastated my support.

Their website advertised “Buy One Get One Free” of their curl mix products and obtain a free serum with $50 purchase. I took pictures of the offers for documentation purposes just to ensure I read all the fine prints. To my displeasure, the order did not include Buy One Get One Free nor the free serum. Instead, I am being fully charged with ZERO free products.

Assuming this was a simple mistake to easily be corrected. I reached out to Curl Mix Customer Service and left 3 voice mail messages on 11/18, 11/19 and 20. Additionally, I followed up with emails to their info email address. To my dismay, all messages were met with condescending responses NOT resolving the issues and basically, telling me there is nothing they can do.

As a result, I am:
1. Cancelling my existing recurring order membership that I have had for over 3 years.
2. Returning the order placed that was fraudulent in more ways than one.
3. Filing an FTC and Office of Consumer Affairs complaint and
4. Leaving this review.

As a fellow woman of color who is super supportive of other underrepresented-business owned merchants, it is disheartening to have made so many attempts as a customer to resolve these issues amicably and only to be met with lack luster responses.

Hopefully the owners read this review and care enough to review their internal processes for positive customer experience changes.
