I'm sorry, but I was charged £45 for something I did not sign up for. I only intended to purchase the Boots Mystery Box, which was advertised as £3. However, like many previous reviewers have mentioned, I was unexpectedly charged £45. I would like a full refund of the £45, as well as the original £3. Thank you.
Edit:Given that you acknowledge there is a misunderstanding, and in light of my repeated requests for a refund, I am once again requesting that the £45 charge be reversed immediately.
I have emailed several times requesting a refund after being charged £45 without my knowledge. The only response I keep receiving is that I signed up and didn’t cancel in time — which is simply not true. This is incredibly frustrating and feels like a deliberate trick to mislead people.

Total SCAM
I too have been scammed by this company. Entered a quiz for a Boots box but they subscribe you to their company. They took £3 for delivery of the box, which of course has not arrived. I have now cancelled my subscription, which I didn't sign up for, so hopefully I won't have the £45 taken from my account as several others have. This company are giving Cyprus a bad name and I'm sure the Cypriot government would like to hear about them.

There is no misunderstanding on my part. I answered some questions to receive a Boots box, was asked to pay £3 for delivery. The next thing I know is I've signed up for your service. And if you had read my review properly you would know I've already cancelled my subscription, which I never wanted in the first place. Total scam page pretending to be boots!
Total scam page! Also paid for £3 for a free boots box on Facebook and then afterwards charged an extra £45 for ‘CV genie’ Luckily my bank was on it and immediately declined the payment and then sent me a text asking if I recognised it! Thank you NatWest! Card cancelled which is annoying but at least I didn’t lose £45!
EDIT: I have NEVER used your service and it is interesting that the lady down the page, had exactly the same experience! Both payments - the initial £3 for the box and now the £45 are labelled with your companies name!

I am absolutely gutted and feel a proper fool to have fallen for an offer that's too good to be true. I payed for a Boots Box on offer on Facebook and payed £3. they have now taken out another £45 from my account. Apparently its a CV service I have unknowingly signed up for. I did contact support@genie but they wouldn't help. You also do have my contact details.

A total scam, my mother in law signed up for a marks and Spencer’s afternoon tea based on a quiz and was discreetly signed up to a subscription. She has cancelled and been confirmed as cancelled but they are refusing to refund her despite me never using any of these services in the couple of days until I realised the payment had been taken. Terrible customer services total scam be careful! How disgusting to target innocent older people you should be truly ashamed!!!

A Scam! Only found out this existing after a dubios quiz/prize email related to Cadbury which signed me up to this scheme discreetly until I see £45.00 taken from my card! Upon contact no refund but just confirmed it's been cancelled. A very shady way of signing up people to subscription!
