nach 3 Monaten warte ich immernoch auf Lieferung

Es ist jetzt mitte Juli, und nach der x-ten Mail welche irgendwelche Ausreden bringen weshalb ich jetzt noch ein paar Tage warten muss (beim letzten Mail war DHL schuld... mhm... ist jetzt auch wieder über einen halben Monat her) platzt mir echt der Kragen. Ich glaube das könnte gut SCAM sein
Delay, Delay, Delay, and lack of acountablity
I placed an order with Cyclowax on March 17 for a Performance Wax Kit, two Shimano Ultegra 12-speed chains, four Shimano quick links, and a chain cutter tool. At the time of ordering, the confirmation email stated that the Performance Wax Kit pre-order would be “shipped in April.”
Since then, the expected shipping timeline has moved several times. On April 16, I was told the kit was in production and would ship in mid-May. On April 21, a general update said March orders would begin shipping in mid-June. On June 17, another update said I could expect my tracking information before the end of the month. Then on June 30, I received another message saying my order had been affected by a DHL delay, that the issue had been resolved, and that I should receive my track & trace code “over the coming days.”
It has now been a further two weeks since that last update, and I still have not received shipping information or a tracking number. My latest email, they declined to give an updated timeline, for fear of not meeting that either.
I want to be fair: I am still genuinely excited about the product and I understand that pre-orders and production delays can happen. However, the repeated changes to the timeline and lack of a clear shipping date have been very frustrating. In my location, this delay has now lasted almost half of the biking season, which is especially disappointing because I ordered the kit expecting to use it during that season.
I hope the product lives up to expectations when it arrives, but based on my experience so far, the communication and fulfilment timeline have been disappointing.
Repeated delays and no accountability
Despite my order supposedly being part of Batch 1, customer service has been unable to provide any concrete shipping date or a specific update on my individual order. Instead, I have only received general responses saying that I will receive tracking once FedEx collects it.
I was previously a strong advocate for Cyclowax and recommended the brand to several cycling groups. Unfortunately, after the way this order has been handled, I would no longer feel comfortable recommending the company.
Delays can happen, but repeated promises, poor communication and the lack of any ownership or concrete resolution are not acceptable.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews regarding the customer service of this company as I had a fantastic experience with them. I had to get something refunded and the process was smooth, without issues and super quick! I appreciated the service immensely!
JUST DON'T
Ordered in March despite the advertised delay in delivery until April. It didn't come. Then we were told it would be June. It didn't come. Then we get a video of the owner holding an empty box telling us they would send tracking numbers "next week". They didn't. Just really poor way of managing a business. If you were thinking of buying from them - absolutely DO NOT. Until they are actually in a position to fulfil orders that are so backed-up, I would not advise anyone to give them a penny. If this is their ability to control stock you have to have concerns about other parts of the business, including usability, reliability, safety etc. Poor.
Failure to deliver. Misrepresentation. Selling sold out products.
I ordered one of the new Performance Wax Heaters at the start of March 2026. I also purchased a pre-waxed chain at the same time.
Cyclowax took my order (and my money) whilst advertising that the order would be delivered in April 2026.
The company sent me the pre-waxed chain quickly. At this time, there had been no indication of a delay to the Performance Wax heaters. I therefore installed the new chain and made the switch to a wax chain set up on my bike.
Unfortunately, I am still without my heater 3.5 months later. This means I cannot rewax the chain on my bike. I ride and race a lot so this is a huge issue.
Cyclowax informed me months after my purchase that the heaters would not be ready before June 2026.
The company explained that this was because they had been overwhelmed by the success of their launch and the number of orders. I congratulate them. However, this is not an excuse. If Cyclowax was overwhelmed with orders, they should have stopped taking people’s money when they sold out their first batch.
The company could and should have (1) known how many heaters they could deliver; (2) indicated when the heaters were sold out and updated their product listing to show the first batch had sold out; and (3) only taken more orders when production caught up and a further batch was available.
Instead, they misrepresented to customers (like me) that orders would be delivered in April 2026 and continued to take orders.
My only options now are to buy a heater from a competitor company (simply to fill the gap caused by Cyclowax). This would be a significant expense for me and should not be mine to bear. Cyclowax has even suggested that I buy one of their older heaters while I wait for my Performance Wax Heater. I am shocked that they would suggest customers buy TWO heaters to remedy the company's own failing to deliver ONE.
Instead, I am left regularly going to friends' houses, offering my apologies, and asking to borrow their heaters because Cyclowax has left me without one.
UPDATE: delivery was finally confirmed by email for MID June 2026. This did NOT happen.
UPDATE: the company posted on social media that customers who ordered in March (like me) would receive products in the week of 22 June. This did NOT happen.
UPDATE: we were told we would receive tracking links for delivery before the end of June 2026. This did NOT happen.
Scammers. Don't ever trust them!

They now use GCN for promotion to look like a serious company. They are not. Unless you like throwing your money away, don't buy anything from them.

scammer company, im trying to get a refund, no answer back in more than 2 weeks now. I have tried to make a claim through my card provider, but because the item hasnt been "shipped" i cant make a claim

Kein Geld nach Rücksendung bekommen
Ich habe ein Starterset bei Cyclowax bestellt und musste dieses zurückgeben, da ich schon eins von Freunden bekommen habe. Leider habe ich nach der Rücksendung auch nach einem Monat noch nicht mein Geld zurückbekommen, obwohl der Eingang der Rücksendung bestätigt wurde. Auf E-Mails und Kontaktanfragen kommt keine Antwort. Das grenzt schon an Betrug! Wie hier einige erwähnen ist der Kundenservice und die Kommunikation extrem schlecht.

Waiting for my order, I see I am not the only one. There is a lot of Mea Culpa being offer, and excuses about delays, but no products showing up to customers nor communications.
Pre-ordered the kit in march
Pre-ordered the kit in march. Immediatly got a mail that it will ship in april. A month later I get a mail that the demand is high and that shipping will take place mid june. No ‘sorry’, no ‘we will throw in a free puck for the trouble’, nothing. I counted on having the kit somewhere in may because now I had to buy extra stuff to keep my chain waxed. I replied to the mail with the shipping info, never got a reply back.
Edit: so mid June I get a mail that my set would be shipped before the end of the month. Guess what, we’re at the end of the month, nothing. Again so send them an e-mail, asking what’s up, nothing. And in the mean time I see them advertising all over Facebook. Avoid by any means because this has bankrupcy written all over it.
Waiting for more than 3 months on my order
I have ordered and paid in February, its end of may now, not received anything, not even an email stating what’s up… might be a fraud
Customer sevice inexistant
It has been a month since I requested the cancellation of order #19693, and I have yet to receive any update or response. The complete lack of communication is deeply frustrating and unprofessional. I strongly urge Cyclowax to address this matter promptly.

Cyclowax completely ignoring me after purchase of the new waxing product thats been delayed several months. Not very helpful or what I’d expect from what I thought was a decent company prior to purchasing from them.

Pre ordered the new waxing kit
Pre ordered the new waxing kit, a week or so later there’s a few month delay. Offered a discount code only to discover I can get anything with it as everything is gone. The help is so slow to respond and now I’m left without a waxing kit for the majority of the main riding season. First time trying to use cyclowax and likely my last.

Nicely presented but......
I am very experienced at waxing chains (5 years) and believe it's the only way to go. Game-changing. I currently use a slow cooker and GLF wax which works brilliantly on all my bikes and groupsets.
I bought the Cyclowax system for convenience and to reduce mess. It does melt the wax very quickly whatever wax I use in the pot. It is beautifully presented.
Does it wax the chain yes, is it better than a slow cooker (debatable). The chain hanger system is very good.
There is one big issue though. The wax melter is not big enough. I use full length chains (SRAM and Shimano) as I have a ceramic speed rear mech hanger. Unless I use a lot of wax (3-4 pucks) I cannot completely cover the chain. It is not possible to wax more than one chain at a time even if I use wax up to the brim. The slow cooker is much better in this respect as I often wax batches of chains (3/4 at a time). Is there less mess? No, as you have to wiggle the chain to get it into the wax even with a normal length chain and some gets spilled.
Service ungenügend
Service ungenügend. Habe das Starterkit incl. vorgewachster Kette erworben. Sieht alles prima aus. Wirklich gut. Dann die Kette aufgelegt, neue Kassette, alles entfettet usw. Aber: Die Kette "quitscht" und ist wirklich "laut". Kundendienst mehrfach angeschrieben. Bisher: Keinerlei Reaktion. Diese Art der Nicht-Kommunikation ist wirklich nicht ok. Sehr schade!!
