⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing & Unprofessional Experience

I had a very disappointing experience with Danier. The quality of the product did not match what was advertised, and when I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, the experience only got worse.

Customer service was slow, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I followed all the proper steps, provided the required information, and still received no clear solution. It felt like once they had my money, they no longer cared.

For a brand that claims to be premium, this level of poor communication, lack of accountability, and disregard for customers is unacceptable. I would not recommend Danier to anyone looking for quality products or reliable after-sales support.

Save your time and money — there are much better brands out there that actually respect their customers.

Terrible customer service

Do not shop online with Danier, if you have any issues with sizing, quality, etc you will be on the hook for paying return shipping. You also have to go through an approval process within 10 days of purchase. Overall a terrible experience, I'm not sure how any company with these sorts of outdated policies stays afloat in 2025.

The style of its product is outdated

The style of its product is outdated, if they have one or two items stylish usually it’s gone so quickly ( I don’t understand why their managers or stylists are Not following what is in trends, what is not - the same silhouettes over decades. I don’t know any other retailers like Denier in their religiously outdated outfits)
Return policies is the same as their silhouettes - I don’t remember when we have to return item at our own expense
I am not surprised that they are losing market and facing economical difficulties

Danier behaves as a fraud company

If I could give Danier online store 0, I would do it! The UPS store owners in Oak Ridges have definitely stolen my parcel and keep telling that the parcel was delivered, although I had a message to pick it up. I was out of country on those days and physically could not pick the parcel up. Already during 2 months I keep trying to get a refund for the product I do not possess. All in vain, even though Danier has all the necessary proofs of my words (the UPS email message and my boarding pass). Stay BACK from this fraud company!

Fake sale

Danier put an ad on Facebook with a picture of their Gisele gloves, on sale. I go to the website to order them but they're not on sale. I email the company who says, no they're not on sale, that ad was a "system glitch". Yeah right! Get it together Danier. Maybe verify your ads are correct before posting.

Not easy to make a return

I purchased a purse online; the leather was very stiff, and the shoulder strap was too wide; wasn't working for me so I decided to return it. You first need to get permission from Danier, then have to return within 7 business days, at your own expense. It cost me $25 to courier back; postal service was not an option.
Most online shops will accept returns up to thirty days, and will cover return shipping costs. I won't be buying from Danier again.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. They do not fulfill their promise to customer. Their website says items can be shipped. But they don’t for whatever reason. Very inconvenient to shop. I give them 1 star, customer service very poor. That is why they are losing customer.

5 stars all the way. Bought Mens Derick leather jacket at 50% off. The jacket arrived in 2 business days to the door. Quality is exceptional, much more than I had hoped for.

So many reasons to avoid Danier

So many reasons to avoid Danier! Bought a Jacket from them telling the clerk I wanted something to protect me while riding my M/C. She sold me a jacket that was Lambskin which I found out later would NOT protect me at all. After only a couple of months the Jacket started changing colour. I contacted Danier and the first clerk I spoke to said they would repair or replace it. She said she'd call me back but a week later I hadn't heard anything so I called them back. I talked with another clerk who not only told me that the jacket I was sold was not suitable for M/C riding, but that it wouldn't protect me at all. The next day the first clerk returned my call I asked her about this, she said it was incorrect (who's lying?). She told me that a head office rep would be at the store that Thursday and could I bring the jacket for them to see. I did but head office didn't show up. I left the jacket with the promise that it would be repaired or replaced. About 10 days later I received a call that Danier would not be repairing or replacing my jacket as I had "OVEREXPOSED IT TO THE SUN"! WHAT? It's a jacket! Outdoor wear! I protested and said I wasn't exactly wearing it while sunbathing. That it had been in the "SUN" because it's worn outside! They refused to do anything, with a jacket that was months old but looked like it was many years old! I wrote their head office only to be told the same gibberish. When I asked why they would sell me a jacket not suitable for what I asked for they told me I should know what I'm buying. I thought they were the professionals? Apparently NOT, they should have stayed bankrupt.

Absolute garbage customer service

Absolute garbage customer service. Keep harassing how an order has gone and how I like it when it’s been stuck in limbo since November 12th and not delivered because Danier shipped Canada Post in the midst of a National Strike now going into its 5th week. Now they’re harassing about another order they shipped UPS that has not yet been delivered delayed by over two weeks now. ZERO responses to emails and ZERO ability to reach them by phone they are not picking up and no voicemail capability because it’s full apparently since November…

À lire les critiques négatives, j'étais vraiment inquiet de commander en ligne étant donné tous les mauvais commentaires. J'ai pris le risque et heureusement tout c'est bien passé et je crois que de choisir la bonne grandeur au départ vous évitera le service à la clientèle. Prenez le temps de mesurer votre grandeur de ''chest''. Dans mon cas, je suis mince et je prends d'habitude du 38 à 40 et j'ai choisi le 38 qui me va à merveille. Je suis très satisfait, il est très beau et de grande qualité de confection. J'ai beaucoup regardé sur internet pour un manteau 3/4 et c'est définitivement ce que je cherchais et le plus beau model sur le marché en ce moment avec son grand col.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you appreciate a company that stands by their products and services and resolves issues quickly to ensure customer satisfaction, this brand is not for you. Just read the reviews online and it is clear that I am not the only one who has experienced terrible service from this company.

I ordered from this company from their online store since they no longer carry the popular items in their stores. They shipped my item to the wrong address and it got returned back to their warehouse. I reached out to customer service who said they will still bill me for the shipping cost, even though I did not receive my order. They said I can order the item again but would have to pay shipping again. They also said I would need to wait 2 weeks to get a refund on my first order. It has now been over 2 weeks, and still no refund, and the customer service team at Danier have stopped replying to my emails. Do not purchase from this brand.

Terrible customer service. Sent the wrong item and ruined a Christmas gift. Laughed in my face because I refused to fix their mistake. Avoid.

This company has no transparency on…

This company has no transparency on their return policy, bough a purse online, purse is too small, you have to request a return permission, do not cover the shipping return, stores don’t accept returns from online shoppers. DO NOT BUY from them.

Don’t shop online

Don’t shop online. They don’t honour their return policy, they issue a gift card instead of online store credit (per policy) so you can’t get your money back in cash. The sizes are not realistic… This is how they get you. I chose to do an exchange for a different size and style, so I accepted the online store credit, but when the other size doesn’t fit either, they refused to give me my money back as cash.
Customer service is horrible. I will never buy from them again.
