Ich kaufe und sammle seit mehr als 30 Jahren Schallplatten. Auch wenn ich Plattenläden bevorzuge, bestelle ich, wie viele, einen gewissen Anteil online. Meine Erfahrungen der letzten zehn Jahre: durchwachsen. Ob über eBay, kleine Onlinehändler oder amazon, immer wieder musste ich die Erfahrung machen, dass man sich weder bei der Beschreibung der Platte, noch beim Versand allzu große Mühe gibt. Vor allem schlecht verpackte Platten haben schon zu sehr viel Frust geführt. Sehr ärgerlich, vor allem bei seltenen, hochpreisigen Ausgaben. Habe kürzlich das erste mal eine Platte von decks.de erhalten und war mehr als überrascht. Extrem schneller Versand und die wohl beste Verpackung, die man sich wünschen kann. In Deutschland habe ich das so noch nicht erlebt. Einzig Acoustic Sounds in den USA verschicken mit einem ähnlich hochwertigen Versandkarton. Wenn ich etwas im Laden nicht finden sollte, für mich nun die erste Online-Adresse in Deutschland. Top!

The post office delivered my package to the wrong unit all while displaying it was still out for delivery with the postal tracking service, so it sat for a month in Florida weather. That's not a decks.de issue. I opened it and found a record was slightly warped, one of the pains of having records shipped to you in Florida. I accepted this. What was not okay was a loosely packaged brand new 45 that looked like someone had taken a razor blade to it. On top of that, I opened a completely new, still sealed record and it also had a few bad scratches on it, which is inexcusable. I emailed them telling them I'd take the hit on the warped records, but that I wasn't willing to accept new releases that were scratched. They told me to file a report with the post office, but that would've been a giant waste of my time because these were not shipping or delivery issues, they were packaging and manufacturer problems. Decks.de admitted as much, but still told me to address it with the post office. Not interested in wasting any more of my time with further delays on what would be an obvious outcome, I refused and they simply stopped replying. I had to make a dispute with my credit card, which I never do. They appealed it saying they weren't responsible for the records' condition after a month (previously explained) and that if I was unhappy with the records they would allow me to send them back for a full refund. This was news to me. They had never offered that option. I reached back out to them to see if they would extend it to me and they continued their silent treatment, so I went back to the dispute process. Decks.de clearly felt it was acceptable to lie to the credit card company about a remedy they had never offered nor had any intention of following through on. At this point, I didn't want any of the records or to ever give them any money. I provided documents and proof to my card issuer and they sided with me, closing the dispute. I had tried to work with them and they could've come out better in the end if they showed some accountability around the records at issue, instead the whole order wound up being a wash for them. This was the worst record buying experience of my life. I will never use decks.de again and would not recommend others do so either.

bought a record store day vinyl from them online which was extremely limited, the item arrived to me bent and very damaged. they refused to refund me and blamed the post office. now they say they will only refund me if i send the item back but i have to pay the international shipping costs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

They sent me a warped record that was unplayble. It took me several weeks of arrogant and edgy replies to get a refund. Don’t buy reecords here unless it is you last option. If you do, cross your fingers not to have any problem that requieres after-sales service.

Es ist jetzt bald 10 Jahre her oder noch länger, dass ich das erste Mal bei Decks gekauft habe. Damals war ich total begeistert von diesem Online-Shop und hätte im Zweifel lieber hier gekauft als bei den einschlägigen Konkurrrenten - inzwischen ist es so, dass ich bei Decks aus Prinzip nichts mehr kaufe, weil ich mir einen derart frechen und arroganten Ton im Kundenservice nicht gefallen lasse.

Ich bin seit vielen Jahren Musikliebhaber und leidenschaftlicher Sammler von Platten, Kassetten und CDs, und natürlich kommt es mir auch auf einen einwandfreien Zustand der Medien und der Hüllen an. Aus Erfahrung weiß ich, dass bereits eine gestauchte oder geknickte Ecke zu einem deutlichen Wertverlust führt, ganz zu schweigen von Kratzern auf der Lauffläche.

Anfangs bekam ich mit meinen Platten-Paketen als Vielkäufer immer mal wieder einen Gutschein-Code mitgeschickt. Ich kann mich gar nicht mehr erinnern, wann ich zum letzten Mal diesen tollen Service bekommen habe... Einmal gab es sogar eine richtig gute Promo-Vinyl als Geschenk, darüber habe ich mich damals sehr gefreut.

Nachdem es anfangs zu gelegentlichen Transportschäden gekommen war wegen des immer schlechteren Handlings der Paketdienstleister, konnten wir eine Verpackungsmethode arrangieren, die in jeder Hinsicht einen perfekten Schutz vor Transportschäden geboten hat. Meine Idee, die Platten aus den Hüllen zu nehmen und stattdessen in Folien zu stecken, wurde dann sogar als Kästchen-Option mit in den Bestellvorgang aufgenommen.

Dass statistisch immer mal Platten mit dabei sind, die vom Presswerk bereits mit einem Fehler ausgeliefert oder vom Zulieferer / Label in beschädigten Plattenhüllen verschickt werden, ist nichts Ungewöhnliches. Inzwischen sind zwar die Preise für Platten und CDs enorm gestiegen, aber leider auch die Häufigkeit von mangelhaftem Vinyl oder beschädigten Hüllen. Dazu kommt, dass bei Decks der kostenlose Versand ab einem bestimmten Mindest-Bestellwert komplett gestrichen wurde (anders als bei den Konkurrenten).

In den letzten Jahren habe ich gemerkt, dass man bei Decks immer weniger Kulanz zeigt. Was ich zum Schluss erlebt habe, ist der reinste Hohn und absolut jenseits des Erträglichen: Bei meiner letzten Bestellung (über 200 Euro Warenwert) waren eine Platte mit einem (hörbaren) Kratzer quer über eine gesamte Plattenseite und eine andere mit zwei unschön gestauchten Ecken in der Plattenhülle dabei. Auf meinen Vorschlag von rund 25 Prozent Nachlass auf den Kaufpreis dieser beiden Platten ist man nicht eingegangen. Für einen hörbaren Kratzer quer über eine ganze Seite einer 12''-Platte, die ungefähr 18 Euro gekostet hat, sind 25 Prozent Preisnachlass aus meiner Sicht nicht zu viel verlangt.

Letztlich bekam ich ein Retourenlabel, so dass ich die beiden Platten zurückschicken konnte, um sie gegen einwandfreie Exemplare als Teil meiner nächsten Bestellung auszutauschen.

Leider kam es dann aber unerwartet anders: Nachdem die Retoure eingetroffen war, bekam ich eine unfreundliche Nachricht, dass die Platte gar keinen Kratzer habe, man beim Abspielen nichts Ungewöhnliches höre und im übrigen auch alle anderen Platten dieses Releases in dem selben Zustand (!) seien. Und dies gelte auch für die gestauchten Ecken in der Hülle der anderen Platte. Da ich bei der Reklamation bereits Fotos der Mängel angehängt hatte, hätte man darauf auch früher kommen können! Die beiden Ersatzplatten wurden dann ohne Rückfrage einfach storniert!

Nachdem sich in ähnlichen Fällen in den letzten Jahren gezeigt hat, dass man bei Decks immer weniger Verständnis für Kunden hat, die beschädigte Ware reklamieren, und die Kulanz dabei immer mehr gegen Null konvergiert, habe ich beschlossen, mir das nicht länger gefallen zu lassen; zukünftig werde ich stattdessen bei deejay.de und HHV einkaufen. Bei denen gibt es in vergleichbaren Fällen (zerkratzte Plattenoberfläche) auch schon mal ein kostenloses Ersatzexemplar! Unterm Strich zahlt es sich mehr aus, der Kundenzufriedenheit eine höhere Priorität einzuräumen als der Profitmaximierung.

Das einzig Positive bei Decks ist jene eine Mitarbeiterin (R.), die seit vielen Jahren zuverlässig und sehr sicher meine Pakete verpackt hat. Aber selbst das hat bei der letzten Bestellung nicht mehr geklappt.

Zum Schluss noch ein Kuriosum: Ich habe nach dieser finalen Erfahrung zweimal versucht bei Decks anzurufen, um vielleicht doch noch auf einen Rest Vernunft zu stoßen - bin aber telefonisch nicht durchgekommen. Jedesmal bekam ich kurze Zeit später einen Anruf, bei dem das Gegenüber sofort aufgelegt hat, nachdem ich mich namentlich gemeldet hatte. Die Rufnummer war dabei unterdrückt. Wird wohl nur ein merkwürdiger Zufall gewesen sein...

I would lovely gave 6 or More Stars If I could. Always friendly, super fast. Fair shipping costs (inside germany). Very safe cartons. Recycling Material !! And compare to JPC or HHV ( no to Amazon !!) I have maybe a send back when the Vinyl had a defect from the factory. My experiences are a few years and they Never lose!! Thx guys!

Very arrogant seller, and rude to talk to.

As a Dj who has been spinning vinyl since 1996.And stays up to date every week! I realised I needed to find a good store that can handle all my vinyl needs. I have tried others, And their okay. But decks is a little more special in my opinion. I decided to ty 3 main online vinyl stores. And, Decks.de is currently my number 1. For good reason! If you need vinyl up to date, And somewhere else doesn't have it, Decks most likely will have the stock. And, They even tell you their stock if their low! I have seen a couple bad reviews, BUT, I would disregard most of those based on my recent experience. Their great! The fact you get a real person handling your order is such a great touch! People want a good service when they pay for it. We all like peace of mind so we know what were getting is exactly what it is described as! I will continue to rock on with decks.de. for the foreseeable future. Shipping is expensive anywhere you go. And decks is no different, BUT, They will work with you to get you your vinyl in the fastest cost effective way! If you are new, Id suggest you use UPS whenever possible for your international orders. DHL are usually a bit slow, and can be unreliable. But if you try decks you will be glad you did ;-) Also if you distribute to other well known sites, Consider switching to decks! Wether your buying or distributing, Decks has you covered, They even sell other gear, CD's, Equipment. 5 stars! Will 100% recommend ;-P

I have just received my first order from this seller. The vinyl records I ordered were packed very neatly and safely. I even received labels for the covers of the records. Order arrived quickly, despite the fact that it had to be sent to the Netherlands. Really great stuff! Happy!
