3 years ago I bought from them 10k euros worth of quick step vinyl flooring with 5 years warranty. After 3 years a got i issue with the floor. And deskelly is not supporting me at all with the issue. I have bee emailing Sue from their customer support team since November 2025 and nothing has happened about my issue. So frustrating

We dealt with Aideen for the beds and Ross for the carpets . Aideen has a good personality and one that is conducent to dealing with people , very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Ross was also very helpful and easy to deal with . You could see that both had a lot experience in their areas. We would strongly recommend Des Kelly and notably the staff we dealt with .

I had a very disappointing experience with Des Kelly Interiors.

I ordered carpet for three rooms and stairs. At the time of booking, I was told to choose any carpet I liked from the Long Mile Road branch. I paid the full amount in advance and was given an installation date two weeks later.

However, I was never informed that the carpet was not in stock. It became clear that the salesperson was more focused on securing the sale rather than providing accurate information. After placing the order, there was a complete lack of communication.

The installation date was changed three times, and eventually I was asked to select a different carpet because the one I originally chose was not available. This caused significant inconvenience, as we had planned our move based on the agreed installation date.

Overall, the process was delayed by nearly two months. It appears they do not keep stock and only order from suppliers after receiving payment, which should have been clearly communicated from the start.

During this time, I visited the branch, but the manager showed no sense of urgency or apology. It felt like this is a regular occurrence and customers are not treated properly after payment is taken.

I would not recommend them for carpet services due to poor communication, lack of transparency, and significant delays.

We went to Blanchardstown store to buy bed and mattress. Aideen was more than patient with us, so knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent experience, we will be back.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Caoimhe in the Crossguns branch for her exceptional customer service and professionalism. The experience of purchasing a corner suite for my daughter was seamless from start to finish. Nothing was a problem including getting a measuring tape to check the dimensions of the suite. She also had excellent tips on the aftercare of the suite. Her product knowledge and personality where fantastic and sealed the deal for me there and then. So well done Caoimhe and all the team at Des Kelly's Cross Guns for your help and professionalism. I'm sure I will be doing more business with you in the future.

I was dealing with Shane primarily but the other members of staff were very helpful too. Shane was professional and courteous, he was knowledgeable and asked me the right questions. I really felt like he was trying to understand my needs and not just push a product. I returned to the shop a number of times and each time he greeted me and gave me his time. I had shopped around and visited other companies but the product choice and customer support from Des Kelly could not be matched. I just hope the guys laying my floors will be as professional.

I visited your Salins store on Monday and explained that I was under time pressure but wanted to get carpets for my house. My details were taken and I was told they would get back to me. On Friday I rang to get an update and I was told that the man who does the measuring was fully booked. I was not told this when I was in the shop and no one thought to contact me to check in. When I asked on the phone could they give me a timeline I was told he’s timetable was full and basically they didn’t answer the question. So I had no choice but to say I would be taking my business elsewhere….. the person I spoke to Garry, didn’t seem remotely perturbed by the loss of a potential customer ….

Lovely Katharina helped us to make a fully informed decision on which bed and headboard to purchase. She was very helpful and pleasant.
