Excellent Service for Our First Home
Absolutely delighted with the team at Des Kelly in Coolock for helping us choose and fit the floors in our first home. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth, professional and stress-free.
A special shout out to Rachel, who was amazing throughout everything, so helpful, patient and genuinely lovely to deal with. She made the whole process so much easier and we couldn’t be happier.
Would highly recommend the team for excellent customer service!

Great staff in Coolock Store
Have dealt with the Coolock store twice lately in the last 2 months. First time we were served by Ciaran who was very helpful with picking a carpet for our new attic extension & dealt with him via email with payment link etc, all instructions very clear and straightforward. The guy that fitted it was brilliant, very clear communication with times etc. We had to have a fitter come back and shave and hang our doors and he did an excellent job, such a pleasure to deal with a nice friendly person. We were back again this week to get the carpet for our double stairs and landing now and dealt with Barry. Barry is an asset to the company as he was so helpful and a mine of information when it comes to carpets. He helped us choose with his practical advice & recommended we take the 2 samples home as i couldn't choose. Then he was was also very patient with explaining how to measure etc. We're booked in for the fitting now and trust that all will be good with that too. Highly recommend the staff in Coolock.

The rattan drawers are a plastic/paper…
The rattan drawers on the Brisbane 5 Drawer Chest are a plastic/paper image stuck into the drawers. Not rattan or a rattan alternative. Theres no mention of the rattan being a stuck on image in the description.

We completely understand your comments regarding the “rattan style” finish on the Brisbane 5 Door Chest. The product description was never intended to mislead in any way, but we do appreciate that the wording could have been clearer around the decorative finish used on the drawer fronts.

The Brisbane range is designed as a more budget-friendly furniture option, offering the look and style of rattan at a more affordable price point, but we fully understand and respect your disappointment.

THE BEST STORE & STAFF

I had to change the size of the mattress I ordered in their Walkinstown shop and Mary was so great with arranging the order change, super helpful and efficient! I have now used the mattress and pillow I bought for a month and it is so comfortable. Great service and great products

We purchased Floors and suite from DK…
We purchased Floors and suite from DK LM Rd. Both Mary and Michael were spot on.
We arranged date for floors to be fitted and suite to arrive 2 days later.In advance of the fitting we removed old floors and disposed of the old suite to make room.We received 4 emails in advance of the fitting with a timeline as to what to expect and the fitter would call to confirm time etc.. We received no phone call and called the branch mid
Morning to find there is no fitter he is out sick for two weeks and they cannot advise of a rescheduled date. We should have received a call when they knew the fitting could not go ahead we now have no furniture that we could have delayed disposing. The manager was unable to reschedule until after the week end so we are now in limbo and no idea how long we have to wait. The most worrying aspect is had we had of received a call to advise and they were trying to sort would have been understood but for them not to be notified to advise customers in advance is worrying from a customer service point of view. and there doesn’t seem to be an alternative arrangement in place for instances like these to rectify the issue for customers…
Very unsatisfied customer here!!… if the situation improves will update my review

We are very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the standard we aim to provide at Des Kelly Interiors.
To clarify, reminder emails were issued ahead of your scheduled delivery and fitting, including notifications three days prior and again 24 hours before the appointment. As both a delivery and flooring installation were arranged, multiple notifications would have been received.
Unfortunately, on the morning of your installation, the fitter assigned to your job experienced an unexpected family emergency and was unable to attend. As this situation arose suddenly, we were not made aware immediately and therefore did not have the opportunity to contact you before your scheduled call time. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, and for that, we sincerely apologise.
As soon as our store and customer service team were informed, the matter was escalated immediately and another fitter was arranged. By approximately 11:30am, contact had been made with you and the installation proceeded later that same day as promised.
At Des Kelly Interiors, customer service and customer satisfaction are extremely important to us. Our customers are the reason we have proudly remained in business since 1970, and we always strive to resolve any unforeseen issues as quickly and professionally as possible. While circumstances outside of our control can occasionally arise, we always do our very best to look after our customers and deliver on our commitments.
We genuinely regret the inconvenience caused on the morning of your fitting and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve the situation.

Was anxious having to chose carpet on the day but Nick in Coolock branch made our experience very easy and was so helpful.
Guided me through designs, what was suitable and what was practical.
Didn’t rush us and took his time with us.
Made it all very easy and would recommend for anyone looking for help and advice when purchasing and choosing new carpets,
