Unbelievably careless or incompetent

Just unbelievably awful. Communication is so unclear and inefficient that it feels like they are financially rewarded for wasting your time and raising your blood pressure. Had my bank card for three weeks. Six hours on the phone getting basic information clear. Example: sending a word doc asking me to write a letter of permission, without telling me what needed to be in it and telling me later I had to make it a pdf and include a digital signature. Four emails and three phone calls just to get that info. Worst customer experience I have ever had from a courier.

Avoid like the plague.

Worst .... Very Very bad experience

DHL India is honestly one of the worst services. They’re asking me for a lot more money, and when I first sent the courier from here, nobody informed me about these charges. Now they’re asking for 16,000 just to send a gift parcel to my son. And on top of that, they have a few more issues I’d like to call out—let me know what else to add in there for DHL! And also add that there were chocolates and other items in my parcel that might be spoiling by now. They’ve only held up the payment for this reason, and no one is confirming or sending any details—there’s absolutely no response from their side. Never use them for courier services.

Pretty bullcrap, basically harassment if you try to reason with them, was called more than 10 times and they seem to hiring people who don't understand the assignment.

I had a parcel sent to me from Europe…

I had a parcel sent to me from Europe to Varanasi. it took two weeks to clear it because they kept on asking unnecessary documents. They ask more documentation than border officers when entering India! Every time I spoke with the clearance assist team I got a different answer. They are stupid and incompetent people. Plus they charged me 5000rs storage fees.

Incompetent and fraudulent company

DHL added shipping charges over and above the merchandise value in assessing the customs duty. This is a scammy and fraudulent practice, because the duty is for the product being shipped. They appear to be skimming off the excess. Wont recommend using them for international parcel shipment.

Worst Service - India DHL

I sent some documents via DHL from Australia to India and the service in India has been pathetic and shocking.

Parcel was sent in November. The amount of trouble I had gettting it delivered was atrocious. Till now its not been delviered and DHL want to charge an addional $60 AUD on top of of the $140AUD.

I have asked DHL to stuff it and they can do what ever they want or tear the doument.

Worth noting, that the Service from DHL Australia has been amazing but they could only assist with things in their control.

Overall its shit servcie in India and wanting more money for a servcie that I have already paid for.

I ended up getting another doucment from the embasssy and send it via another top tier courier. Got delivered in 2 days without fuss with exaclty the same details.

My folks sent a packet from India and despite giving a detailed list of items, the pick up guy did not bother to specify the exact items in the package. The international parcel, which is still stuck with the customs, has not yet been delivered and will be sent back to India at an extra storage fee shortly. The company very unprofessionally says it cannot do anything about it and has left us hanging. I will not blame the pick up guy but solely blame the company. Just because they are incompetent to train their staff or own up to their mistakes, others have to bear the consequences. Totally ignorant for somebody who is supposed to be an expert international courier service. I will suggest to go with another small scale courier company, that might be more helpful and get the job done rather than cost us tons of money for no outcome. Absolutely dissatisfied with their services!!

I recently moved from Australia to…

I recently moved from Australia to India and wanted to get my personal packages sent back to my country. These people are frauds as they sell half information to trick the customers. Mr. Deepak who is a faithful worker has been selling this crap to me. Firstly, they never reply to any queries. Secondly, they force you to come to a designated location within 24 hours, which is uncalled and without any prior notice, and then conveniently threaten and manipulate the consumer, that if they don't reach the designated place then extra charges will be added. Even after paying over 71,000 rupees for just 3 boxes of used goods, they don't hesitate to make the experience more hectic. They gave me 2 options, one is to come from Siliguri to Kolkata within 24 hours of their email or to send my personal Passport to them. How on the right mindset a person who I haven't met wants me to handover my documents to him? Having said this, there are strikes happening in the country due to RAPEE! and they are repeatedly harassing me claiming for extra charges for their stupid work structure. Mr. Deepak was very manipulative and conveniently claimed that it's not them but the country's rule that is wrong. Me as a consumer, I really don't care about anything, just that I want my goods to be sent on the designated address without any hassle.

I have a shipment from India with the number 4425988781, and as of the 29th of September, its status has not been updated yet !!! I want a statement on the reason for the delay in her delivery and for stopping updating her status !! Waiting for your urgent response to the reason for your delay in shipping it and so far we have not received it !!! (The destination of the shipment is to Saudi Arabia)

Poor customer service

Extremely poor service for international shipping. As per India law I was instructed to submit KYC documents, but my Visa copy was rejected twice despite late confirming with customer service that I had submitted the correct visa documents. I am now in a new address due to the delay, and DHL refuse to redirect the parcel to my new address with no explanation despite escalating this complaint to a manager. They advised that the parcel would be destroyed. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Never use DHL..

Worst ever experience!!! Pathetic service..staff wont care...they will bother you really to the point that you will end up telling them that you dont want your parcel...rude and unprofessioanl staff..they talk to you like they are doing you a favor...
