The worst experience
I wish I could leave a zero star review.
My experience with Dimov Tax was excruciatingly painful. I came to them and clearly explained the unique and pressing situation we were facing and they assured me that they would make this a priority and could complete my taxes in a timely manner. Unfortunately over thr last month, I had to continually chase them down to find out who was handling my file, as it kept getting bounced from person to person, and their communication was severely lacking. I was forthcoming with all of our information and gave all responses within the same day in order to move this along as quickly as possible. I was even forced to pay up front, something that I had never done before with any accounting firm, but I did so in the hopes that they were working on the tax return.
After the third time of my file being passed around, I asked to speak with a senior executive. They set up the call and she never contacted me. At this point I have zero confidence in this firm’s ability to handle my file, communicate honestly, and to have the ability to do my taxes correctly. Do yourself a favor and run from this firm.

Your case was escalated internally and assigned senior oversight to ensure it received priority attention. While there were internal staffing transitions that required reassignment, our intention was to ensure your return was handled by the appropriate team member and completed accurately. At no point was your file neglected, and once escalated, we offered to begin work immediately with draft delivery within 48 hours.
Regarding the scheduled executive call, there was an unexpected technical issue with our phone system that caused a brief delay. You were notified of the issue, a voicemail was left with direct contact information, and we remained ready to proceed that same day.
We understand how frustrating reassignment and shifting timelines can feel, especially when you are working under pressure. That was never our intention, and we regret that this process led to a loss of confidence.
Our team did put work into your file, and we remained prepared to complete and deliver your return promptly. However, once it became clear that you no longer wished to move forward, we respected that decision.
We genuinely wish you the best moving forward and remain committed to improving our internal processes to ensure a smoother experience for all clients.

I’ve been working with Dimov Tax for the past four years, and they continue to exceed my expectations every single time. They are incredibly professional, always responsive, and consistently keep me updated throughout the entire tax preparation process.

My experience with Dimov Tax was incredibly smooth and effortless from start to finish. Communication was handled entirely through email and text, which I really appreciated as someone with a busy schedule--being able to review updates and respond on my own time made the whole process feel simple and stress-free.
My taxes weren't very complicated this year, so I'm not sure if that contributed to how easy everything felt, but even so, the team was thorough, organized, and consistently on top of every detail. They kept me informed at each step, made it clear they were available always for questions I may have.
Overall, the level of professionalism, convenience, and efficiency truly exceeded my expectations. I had a genuinely positive experience, and I would rate Dimov Tax a solid 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Disappointing CPA Firm – Would Not Recommend
My experience with Dimov Tax & CPA Services was very disappointing. They asked for payment immediately, but after more than a month they came back saying they needed to postpone, instead of delivering the analysis as agreed. This delay caused wasted time and frustration.
When I finally received their “work,” it was incomplete and generic, far from the detailed tax planning and entity structure review I had requested. They refused to share supporting calculations, claiming they were “proprietary,” which made it impossible to verify the accuracy of their numbers.
Important limitations were not explained upfront, and communication was poor throughout the process. For the high fees charged, I expected professionalism, transparency, and timely delivery — unfortunately, none of these were met.
If you are looking for reliable and client-focused CPA services, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Our firm strives to provide clear expectations for every engagement, and for analyses like yours, our standard delivery time for a detailed memo is 9-12 business days after all necessary materials are received which is the industry standard. In your case, you were sent the completed analysis 10 business days after your documents were submitted.
Our memos are designed to provide concise tax planning and entity structure guidance based on the information provided by our clients. We do not release proprietary workpapers, as is standard practice in CPA firms, but we are always willing to clarify our overall findings and discuss planning details as needed.
