Ordered a knee brace 5 days ago. They charged my card but absolutely no communication from company. I didn’t receive an order confirmation. I called today- got an obnoxious person who indicated that I wasn’t smart enough to check my email. No email in any folder by the way. He then indicated the product was coming from Mexico and it was trumps fault they were slow. He couldn’t give me any indication of when it might ship.

Terrible customer service and zero…

Terrible customer service and zero professionalism. After spending a significant amount of money, I expected much better treatment, but instead, I received a dismissive attitude. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Extremely disappointed

‏Stay away from this company if you are…

‏Stay away from this company if you are ordering from outside the US. Their customer service is unprofessional and completely dismissive once they have your money. If there is any issue with your order, they will not help you and will treat you with zero respect. Save yourself the headache and the high shipping costs—buy from a supplier that actually cares about medical patients. Avoid DME-Direct at all costs!

Their return policy is very strict

Their return policy is very strict. I tried to return the product, because it was the wrong size. First thing that they will do is immediately charge you and send you the size you need. When I returned the wrong size product, they charged me to ship the product back, then they rejected the return and sent you the item back. So now I have a shoulder brace that I will never use, I was charged twice. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM “DME Direct”!!! I’m so mad. No wonder Amazon is putting these sites out of business. Good riddance DME Direct. Let’s see if they keep this review up.

Beware! Really crappy experience.

This company has certainly earned their one star rating. They treat individual customers like a nuisance. I'm sure they don’t treat medical offices the same if they are lucky enough to have clients.

I ordered an ankle brace from them. When I received the brace it was too small and caused my foot to cramp when I tried on and walked a few feet through my house. The box was also damaged. When I called to return I was told that they wanted their customers to have "skin in the game" so would charge a restocking fee for the return and the shipping cost would be at my own expense.

I mailed the brace back in good faith. I kept watching for the credit allowing time for their three week shutdown for the holidays. When I came home yesterday they had returned the brace back with a note in it saying it was clearly worn and had hair and debris in it. I wore the brace long enough to try on and never even saw the hair and debris which stuck to velcro before returning. It took me two seconds to remove as they could have if they had an ounce of appreciation or concern for their customers.

I'm so glad I followed my instincts and ordered the replacement brace elsewhere. $60 later I'll need to donate a brace I can't use.

I ordered parts for a brace

I ordered parts for a brace. The parts that I received were incomplete missing a strap. I tried to explain that to Andrew who is apparently the CEO. He proceeded to speak to me in a condescending manner. I was simply trying to explain to him that the part that I needed specifically was not in the kit that he sent. I would recommend going somewhere else for parts if at all possible. If there is a problem, these people are rude, disrespectful, unhelpful.

Do not buy from this company. They will not accept a return if you tried on the item

I returned a knee brace I bought— knee stopped hurting by the time it arrived and it was way too big despite following the size chart. I tried it on for less than five minutes, spent hours trying to get them on the phone and finally got my return authorization and they sent it back to me saying it had been worn because they found skin flakes. So dont even try their items on if you might need to return. Their restocking fee is obscene enough. Slow shipping, high price, bad customer service, impossible standards for return. Never again. Do not buy from this company.

Credit card scam

Wanted to buy an item from them, my credit card got charged $7000+ for a $100+ item. Guess they used my credit card details to make illicit transactions.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

Deceptive advertising - Ordered Ice Bags for Breg Polar Wave, the screen display stated 'Pack of 12 Clear Bags' and included the ADD TO CART icon; price was $20.99 + $8.00 for snail mail shipping. What arrived were 4 bags, I reviewed the website and had to scroll down to see the small print that indicated 'sold as a 4 pack.' Why even elude to 12 clear bags if a customer has to purchase 3 times the quantity? The product was overpriced for a quantity of 12 but outrageously priced for a quantity of 4. Because this is a cold therapy accessory it is naturally non-returnable. SAVE YOUR MONEY

worst experience known to man. Don't waste your valuable time or money. Please use Amazon. Neoprene sleeves, horrible sizing chart, way off, of course call DME dIrect and BREG and they both say it's a manmufactoring problem. That doesn't help me PLUS you get stuck with the full price to mail back and added 20% restocking fee. For a sizing problem that isn't my problem it's a a them problem. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. WE ALL DESERVE BETTER. THEY ARE DECEPTIVE. PLUS TOOK 10 DAYS TO GET HERE. AMAZON PLEASE

Ordered a Don-Joy for skiing with a…

Ordered a Don-Joy for skiing with a torn ACL. Over a week later I’ve called, spoke to their customer service (who are always very nice on the phon and promise to send an update) but never received an update on when the bandage will arrive. I’ve sent emails, called and left messages, and never received a reply. Now when I call no one picks up, and I can leave yet another message. Feel like it’s all a big scam.
