Easy to order and to collect! Very straightforward to assemble, works so well. A great design and a great product exactly what I needed.

Purchased the guard for a caravan just before trip. Used the sticky pads on the brackets to fix gate in place… worked fine for 1 day after which two brackets fell off! Will now need to use screws which I was trying to avoid!

Poor quality for the money.
I paid £240 for a tall gate and it looks very cheap. It isn’t self supporting so you need to have it on the ground. It bends when you open it and it doesn’t fold away easily, you need to manually fold each section back and forth. It also comes in 2 pieces so you can’t open it one handed if you are carrying something. Overall very disappointed.

Great advice prior to purchasing regarding the right fit for our camper van. It arrived quickly and well are pleased with the quality of the gate. The sticky pads, unfortunately would not stick to the plastic trim so we did have to screw into place with smaller screws than those provided. It looks and feels sturdy and is a very welcome addition.

Really helpful people to deal with and an excellent product. I wanted to change the height of the second gate I purchased and they were very accommodating. The refund was processed very efficiently.

Very easy to measure the space and order the right item for our van by following the advice. It arrived quickly and safely. Good quality. The instructions and materials were good.
We did have a bit of a chew fitting it to the van, mainly because the hinges joining the bars were very stiff and I hadn't noticed that the gate wasn't fully extended, so we had to redo the sink cupboard side brackets. No drama, it was the adhesive side.
We are still getting used to having it and understanding its strengths and how to operate it without tripping over ourselves in the doorway, but so far we are impressed with the quality and appearance and ease of installation.
One note of advice - we have a carpet down, but we set the height in line with the bottom of the door opening, which has left us having to lift the gate up on the hinges if we want to leave it ready in place when not being used. We should perhaps have set it just above the level of the carpet, but we only noticed after the screws had been drilled into the door frame.

This is my second gate, I have one on my back door as my cat is an indoor cat, I brought this one for one of the bedroom windows as there isn’t a cat G8 size for windows but the dog G8 fits perfectly. I will be getting another for the other bedroom windows too. So easy to install, easy to use, fit well and mean we can still have the windows and back door open without worrying!

Great gate! We got it so quickly and it was easy to install. Now we can enjoy the screen door without being afraid the dogs (one Golden Retriever and one Doberman) will bust out of it!

Chris at G8 was most helpful in understanding the particular obstacles I had in the way to allow me to fit his product to my motorhome garage. It involved adapting a gate to my fairly unique requirements which he arranged without any problems or extra expense. Nice solid product with a quality feel to it.

UPDATE: a few days later, the company reacted and the product was delivered within 3 days. My confidence in The Dog-g8 has been restored and I will order from them again. Great customer service.
