The team at Dolan were superb from providing me with advice on the type of bike I should purchase all the way through to purchasing it and making sure the set-up was built to my requirements. Even the after-sales was fantastic in that they followed up to make sure everything was okay. The Dolan bike has been brilliant, would thoroughly recommend.

John at Dolan was very helpful with sizing advice for the frame before I bought, then the bike was assembled and delivered quickly. I appreciated all of the component options available, and the bike is great!

This is my second Dolan over the last number of years and I can't fault them in any way, especially the customer service. Dispatch time was really quick despite covid still causing upset across the bicycle industry. Would certainly recommend to anyone!

I was able to change the rear mech and some other items with out any additional cost. This is brilliant to have the personal touch. Also the titanium bike looks great and handles well.

I ordered a Dolan Pre Cursa Aluminium Track Bike and was given an estimate of 45 days before it would be dispatched. It actually arrived 10 days later despite a part supply issue (for which I was given an upgrade at no extra cost). Very pleased with the bike which is great value. Good communications. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely 1st Class!! From the moment I started inquiring about their Ares Carbon Disc Road Bike, I knew immediately that this was a company I wanted to do business with! As this was a purchase for my son as a young junior rider, I had several questions that Stephen and John answered daily and normally within a few hours! The customer service was nothing short of amazing as they rushed an order for an upcoming major race here in the U.S., procured parts that needed to be swapped out, and shipped just as they said it would! The quality of the bike speaks for itself and exceeded all expectations! The guys in the local shop were all drooling over it and we’re begging for a test ride! First miles to come

Ordered a Dolan ADX Disc, with a few upgrades, in December 2021, with delivery expected March 2022. In fact it was ready at the end of Jan. Peter and John were most helpful. Great communication; queries via emails and phone are answered very quickly. After I had the bike a few weeks I realised that I needed to swap the seat post for a different one - posted the original one back and received a new one within 48 hrs FOC.
Very happy with the bike.

Ordered a Dolan DXC on cyclescheme at the end of November. John at Dolan was hugely helpful and informative- quoted a 45 day delivery time, which tbh I thought might be ambitious having heard about delays generally for bikes and parts this year. Very pleased to have the bike delivered on 22 Dec, so only 23 days after ordering and less than a week after completing the cyclescheme paperwork! The bike is great- came well-packaged with wheels on- only needed the seat post inserting and the bars fitting to the stem. It rides really well, I’ve put 250km on it already in three days :) Thanks John and Dolan, I would definitely recommend them in future. Nick

Ordered the Dolan Tuono in April, told August delivery , no communications , when i contacted them a week before delivery i was told it would be september, then delayed again (no communications). Understand delays, but lack of communications (and certainly not any apology) i think is just poor and there is no reason for it. I have received the bike and love it but i personally would not buy from Dolan again, as i am just not confident on their customer service (others love them i know).

The whole experience buying from Dolan has been great, from the bike building online to the constant help and advice from John especially throughout.
The bike itself was superb value, and well put together with good components.
I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Will buy again.

Great bike, was utterly convinced that they would not be able to deliver it within the 45 day build programme specified, but very pleased to say that my pessimism was entirely unfounded. Excellent communications and very well packaged and safely delivered, although it took DPD two attempts to find my office.........
Thoroughly recommended, wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again and a real no-brainer using the cycle to work scheme.

During challenging CoVid times, I was able to visit and discuss my rather ordinary needs as a relatively novice cyclist. This was valuable as it guided me to confirm my choice. Faced with supply chain challenges, I was kept well informed and in the loop as to when the bike would be ready, and when my plans to collect fell through, John at Dolan organised delivery within a matter of minutes.

Ordered a titanium frame ADX disc bike back in August. Was forecast a 45 working day delivery, but this ended up running to nearly 60 working days. I only received communication about this when I chased the company, otherwise there would have been no apology or explanation. After the second time it was delayed they apologised and said they would send some water bottles and cages with the delivery, but they didn't.

The bike itself is great, although the hydraulic brakes feel very spongy out of the box and so I'm going to have to pay someone to fix those for me to get it fully roadworthy.

Overall I'd say very good product but the poor customer service and communication issues and the fact that I'm going to need to spend money out of the box to get it working properly mean I can't give more than 3 stars. When you're spending this much money on something (nearly 3 grand!) you just expect more.

UPDATE: Dolan have paid me the cost of having the brakes bled to make them functional, but refused to cover the cost of having the wheels retaped, which was also required to make the bike roadworthy. While the gesture of paying for the brakes was appreciated I still feel that paying to have brand new wheels repaired is pretty unacceptable. It IS a good bike, but I wouldn't buy from them again or recommend them.

Ordered a Dolan GXT Di2 - right from the start John and Stephen were very helpful, in getting the spec just as I wanted and advising on components etc. The bike arrived ahead of the original delivery date and the communication and service throughout the process was without fault. Once the bike arrived it was packed very well and the required assembly was very straightforward as the way the bike was packed made it super clear (taping of Di2 cables etc). Quality of the frameset and build is great - Ive only done a short test ride but the weekend it will see 100 miles of roads and gravel and I can’t wait to experience the comfort of titanium. I have no hesitation in recommending Dolan

Ordered my Dolan Preffisio frame set late on a Monday evening. Delivery was within the stated time, very well packaged. Communication with John was quick and easy when I asked a question. The fame set has built into a perfect winter training bike. First ride today and couldn’t be happier. Thank you John and Dolan Bikes your very highly recommended 👍

I have just received my RDX from Dolan. It arrived within the 45day current waiting time .
Communication with the company was brilliant, with John answering all emails within a few hours and accommodating all my requests without a problem.
The lads in the showroom when i picked my bike up were also great !

Bike was pre ordered back in April through my works cycle to work scheme. Frame had to be preordered and I was warned up front that I would be looking at the second week of July before the frame arrived.

I took delivery of my bike this week and it is beautiful and delivered to the usual standard I have become accustomed to from Dolan,

Came across an issue with the saddle clamp when trying to switch to my usual saddle, a quick e-mail to the team and John sorted out my issue without hesitation.

Couldn't be happier with the bike and the experience with Dolan. The bike feels fast, light and responsive and handles nicely; it even looks better in real life! It arrived way ahead of the 45-working-day lead time quoted, exactly a month after I ordered it in fact. I'd asked a couple of questions by email and on each occasion the Dolan guys answered within hours. They assembled the bike well and it was basically ready to ride out of the box. Being able to configure components was definitely worth it - despite having bought the bike "unseen", on measurements alone, everything fits just right. It really is outstanding value considering the prices of rival companies, and it's great to support an independent.
