Disinterested

Called on to look at their range of VW cars. Walked around showroom looking into each car (all locked so couldn't sit in or look at boot space etc.) No one came near me. Went into Seat next door where I bought a new Cupra. Didn't get specific details but was told its all handled online nowadays. But only received invoice! Had to email the phone several times over 5 days before getting a 5 line response. Poor service!

A fab dealership team

I may have only popped into my dealership to just see the new c3 but in doing so met the new sales team and secured a change of vehicle. The new team Jonathan McMillan and Daryl Campbell were super to get to know and they both looked after the replacement Ec4 very professionally - all questions answered. I am enjoying the new car with its updated spec having had the vehicle set up by Daryl before I took it away. He checked in with me this week to ensure all was good. I dealt with the old sales team for a number of years but have confidence the new team will look after my motoring needs for few more years. The dealership looks well with good choice of vehicles to catch your eye. The Ec4 is a good spec and I was very happy with my choice and not move brand.

Welcoming , attentive and professional

From arriving at the forecourt myself and daughter where made extremely welcome from a very attentive sales agent Daryl Campbell there was no questions unanswered and his depth of knowledge for the Citroen brand was impressive, we where very quickly through all necessary paperwork and formalities with everything transparent in Daryl's explanation, I would highly recommend Donnelys Citroen in Bangor for your next vehicle..

I really would like to thank Daryl Campbell form Donellys at Bangor. What a caring helpful funny young lad this is . He is quite a asset to the the Donnelly group. He is very knowledgeable, very caring and helpful. When needed to answer questions He was on phone and email straight away. Rating for this young guy is 10/10 . Pity I couldn't go higher . And Donnelly at Bangor have a beautiful show room and lots of range of cars . Well done guys .

Donelly sales and sevice

The man who sold us this car, first sold himself. I could tell right away he was a honest and helpful man. He didn't try to sell us the car he wanted to sell, as some salesmen do, rather he sold us the car that suited our requirements best. We found that the car had a lighting fault when we drove that night, so we spoke to him about it the following morning. He took the car into the workshop and had the fault fixed in 10 minutes, a first rate follow up.
I went to Donnelly's because of past experience, I always used them to service and prep my previous car for MOT. They were always kind and helpful.
My experience was a good one.

I got a Jaguar F pace from them and dealt with John Hugh’s
It was a pleasure doing business with them and made the whole journey so easy and pleasant

DO NOT BUY

This has to be the worst dealership i every dealt with..
Sold me a van that didnt work, got a solicitor involved etc

they basically didnt care, they sold a van that didnt work.. If you buy from them, have a mechanic present and everything over email and not call..

we had 1 repair that took 6 weeks, then back again for 3 weeks and another for 2 weeks.

Take pictures before it leaves the lot and get as much information as possible.

Very professional experience

Professional and polite to deal with by phone emails in person
Ryan and stephen sorted out my warranty and updates that I reported 3 weeks before warranty ended
I was called back for warranty work 6 weeks later all carried out to my satisfaction
I live in monaghan so this was my last resort as southern dealers were booked out
Thanks again to Ryan and stephen and for the complimentary tea and coffee offered by reception

I have purchased 4 range rovers of…

I have purchased 4 range rovers of Donnelly’s in the past, but took one to get fixed under warranty. They handed it back 24 hours later saying there was nothing wrong with the car when they’re clearly was. phoned Charles hurst Land Rover Belfast and they arranged a technician he came out three days later and fixed the vehicle in an hour ? when I went to Donnelly showroom to complain the so-called supervisor who had the customer services of a clown Asked me what I wanted him to do about it . Again they are good at selling cars but obviously useless at fixing them and their customer services skills are Nonexistence, but His ignorance scored high so for me it’s charles hurst Belfast for a far superior service..

Dont buy a second hand car from Donnellys

Bought a late 2020 Mercedes GLC 300 DE from Donnellys. I put a small deposit down to hold car until I got money from my own car that I had sold elsewhere as weather was bad and proper inspection was impossible. When I went back to purchase car I noticed scratches on passenger side of rear bumper and what I thought were a lot of barely visible small dots of paint all over front of car (even though salesman thought it wasstone chips). It took approx 5-6 weeks to get car in for work and on checking main issue i.e. rear bumper all looked okay (again it was raining). On returning home and after cleaning car I was shocked to see the whole front covered in blotches of paint where someone had obviously used a touchup brush to cover the minute dots in a totally amateur effort. I phoned and was told they would take blotches off and leave front as it was before work was done. It turned out salesman was off for 2 weeks which he didnt mention so I asked for manager and to be fair he did setup work and courtesy car within few days. However when I collected car again it still wasnt great and some blotches were still very noticeable. I said I thought car was in worse state than when I first bought it but he said they had done best they could. Hence this review as I dont think this response is in any way satisfactory.

Carol was very professional and informative

I took delivery of our Renault Austral in Ballymena. Carol was very informative. She explained all the finance options and car features clearly throughout the process. I would highly recommend her. Couldn't have been happier with the exceptional service at Donnelly group Ballymena.

The car was bought at 4 yrs old was…

The car was bought at 4 yrs old was told it came from a local customer. Originally out of Dorset. It had mismatched front tyres one with a slow puncture. Car Apparently undamaged (a lie) The driver seatbelt (a key safety device) had been worn by a large person n warped. Josie is 5 foot maybe 7 stone 68 yr great granny who babysits the grandkids. First service (free)they want £1100 to fix this “free service”. Not one bit impressed

Air bag replacement Alert

Air bag replacement Alert - Take a video of your car dash before engineer attempts to replace your airbag. Donnelly Group Dungannon sent an engineer to our home mid October after two months of waiting for an appointment, the engineer cracked the media / radio glass in my wife's DS3. The touch screen no longer works. I did not notice till he was well gone as I was working. They are in complete denial, saying it was broken before work started. I know this to 100% incorrect ! So my advice is to take photo's / video's of the dash board to prove everything is working - radio - air con etc before engineer starts work. Sadly I did not so have no proof !

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO GENERIC REPLY BELOW
I have attempted to contact customer service and have a string of emails them denying responsibility. I have telephoned but no one is available and to date no one has had the courtesy to ring me back. I'm just being fobbed off. There is no customer service as far as I can see. 29/10/2025

Jonny McQuitty, Malusk— the guy to see

WOW. Rang Monday, picked up a Range Rover Velar— white with rose gold and black trim, higher spec!

Jonny McQuitty— did not quit on me. All questions answered. Tolerated my continuous phone calls with ALL THE EXTRAS! He even borrowed a reveal sheet from the neighbouring car dealership & after the video (third take) of dressing and revealing the car… we finally got something Insta worthy!

I’m honestly absolutely buzzing!

£45k car, less that 5k miles, finish is absolutely brilliant. Not to mention, the ceramic treatment to make this whip nice & shiiiining.

Explained through every feature, so patient & set the full car up for me.

Jonny went above and beyond to ensure that the car was perfect, making sure all of the red tape was done, settled and road tax was sorted. Not to mention the complimentary lift from the airport, the cappuccino & just overall the BEST experience I’ve had when buying a car.

Beware of donnellys

Beware those taking a car to the enniskillen garage for a service, some time ago i took my newish Renault scenic for its warranty service. It had about 5000 miles on the clock.
I was given the car back and when i got home i checked to ensure the oil filter wasn't leaking - i m an engineer myself - i found the old filter was still fitted, i had marked it as i always do. When i contacted the garage i was told they would send me a new filter for me to fit! Obviously this would involve losing oil plus i had paid them to fit it. I was then asked to bring the car back, a 20 mile journey, for them to fit it but i told them i could no longer trust them to do any work on my new car. after a long battle i got my money back.
I worry that many owners are having the same issue without realising it, please mark your filters and double check a new one has been fitted, your engine needs it replaced at the specified intervals regardless of mileage.
