This doorbell extender seemed to imply it could extend your current wired doorbell, however it could only connect to a doorbell button and not an existing working doorbell (the 12v to the button destroyed the transmitter). There were zero instructions to wire the transmitter only how to attach it to the wall. Overall not much use, however I was able to pair the bell portion with another model that did connect an existing wired bell I got from a different supplier - so all not lost.

A wind-up doorbell to replace my very old one. The replacement turned up on time and well packaged against damage. To my delight it was also exactly the same size as the old one, which made fitting very easy.

Contacted Doorbellworld after the “push” button was lost on my existing bell. They responded quickly and identified the correct replacement part, which was a fraction of the cost of a new bell. This was sent out within a few days and works perfectly. Great service!

The company/stockist did not note my delivery address properly, there is another address with a similar name but with a slightly different postcode, and the product went to the wrong address. So I have not receive my order yet!

I ordered a doorbell push, the site description gave dimensions for the recessed hole required to fit the push flush to the frame, when I tried to fit it the actual hole required was much bigger and my frame could not accommodate it. I contacted them, they apologised and told me to send it back for a refund. When the refund was issued, they had deducted the postage. It is unusual for a company to put a customer out of pocket for their error. I contacted them again, but have had no reply.

Placed an order for two door bell kits - have waited nearly a month for the missing UK plug in chimes needed to operate these kits as sold. Hassle of regular follow up, told the missing chimes were being sent last week, now told they’re not available. Chasing returns and a refund of £190.58 via PayPal. Disappointed as great product range and, having read the many positive reviews of Door Bell World, I expected a positive shopping experience. Something has clearly gone wrong with my two orders (19791 and 19748).

I emailed before I purchased the item and asked if it was compatible with a BY302 , the answer came back as YES, by I’ve had no luck with it so far.

Great shopping experience through doorbellworld, the one thing that would make the product better though would be a phone app which rings as well. Though you can order more ringers that you can put in other rooms, it’s quite a quiet ring, even on the loudest setting. Works exactly as described though. Would recommend the company, no problems at all!
