Doxo is an impersonation scam.
Do not make any payments through this platform.
They pay to be featured as the top choice in SEO, search engine keywords.
The FTC is currently investigating their practices as they charge illegitimate fees and customer payments do not go to the original requester.

i made a payment to Washington go to go and a moth later got an overdue statement and hade to pay a late fee and the bill again [not using doxo] . when i contacted doxo the discovered that they paid wrong account number but wouldn't refund my money and didn't even apologize, i guess education isn't free.

DOXO charged my credit union checking account $185.68 on 11/18 for a bill from Bay Care Health services which was $179.40. The difference of $6.28 was a so called "delivery fee" However, it is now Dec 17, 1 month later and Bay Care has no record of any payment from DOXO in my name. I have filed a complaint with FTC and submitted a Fraud report with my credit union. They misrepresented themselves as a legitimate bill payer to Bay Care Medical. They are not a trustworthy co and the FTC has a warning and a law suit pending about them.

This is a very shady company. I inadvertently used them to pay a medical bill and, like so many others here, found that they did not pay it on the date they promised. I got the digital run around when I tried to follow up with them and, as others have mentioned, have since found out they're being investigated by the FTC for their business practices. I did what you all should do too which is initiate a dispute with your credit card company and let them do the dirty work. I suspect that if they answer this review at all it will be with the same sad song so many here have encountered, ‘Gee..how did this ever happen? Must be a mix up. We’re sorry, blah, blah, blah’ and you will be returned to their digital hell while they keep your money. No thanks. Let your CC company handle it. THEY actually want to keep you as a customer! And let your local AG know too so they can make Doxo’s life as miserable as they make ours. A credit card dispute is probably the best way to proceed here.

I have been overall satisfied with the services Doxo provide except that it appears impossible to have a new biller added to the list despite promises from customer service that they will be "in a few days" - months later I am still waiting.
1/10/25 Yet again Doxo guarantees are false promises - nothing resolved we will stop using this company in the future

I feel ripped off. Don't use this company. They are being investigated by the FTC for taking payments from customers and never paying the bill. I spent almost an hour on customer support to be told by AI chatbot "It look like your payment has not been delivered yet. Let's get you to customer care for assistance." After spending 45 minutes with Roly John from customer care, I was told all of a sudden "You're payment was already delivered but the check was not cashed yet because you processed the information to the wrong biller". My payment was processed on 10-25-2024 by DOXO to the right account number and name of the clinic which is all that was visible to me as a customer off of their website. After receiving two more bills from medical clinic, I called the clinic on 12-12-2024, and was told they never received any payment. I then paid the clinic directly via phone. Customer service rep Roly John did not provide with a copy of the supposed error I made when I asked for it. When I googled their name today, all these complaints from customers came up and the current pending FTC investigation. Don't use this company. They keep your money and charge an additional $3.99, then blame you for typing in wrong information.

$7 fee to pay a utility bill? That's ludicrous. The previous payment site was $1.95. Oh, but if I put out even more money, I won't have to pay the fee... You people are out of your minds. If I could have given less than one star, I would have. And you claim to be the cheapest? That's a massive crock of sh!t. It makes complete sense that you would be working with the city of Rogersville. This town is the most corrupt organization I have ever seen. The City Administrator is a convicted murderer, who was hired after his conviction. The two of you should get along swimmingly. I'm glad I at least have the choice of not working with you people. I can't wait to get out of Rogersville.
Edit: 12/20/24. Yeah, I tried that. It still told me I needed to pay for the membership to not have that ridiculous fee.
