These dudes are just scammers

These dudes are just scammers . They will ask you for documents and alot of your personal information for merchant sign up (mind you share such confidential info through email not a secure form, who does that?) . Then they will go mute and never respond back. I think these are documents harvesters. Reading reviews here also tell how worse they are.

If I could select a zero stars i would

If I could select a zero stars i would! After several emails to DPO Group.. asking for assistance and guidance to get my merchant account set up I have received one email back.. and after that never heard from them again. No help, no assistance, No emails.. no calls, just nothing. So as a common sense person, if you cant even get the initiation of my application right.. how on earth will i trust you with money that will be handled by you. So I have found a more reliable and trustworthy company that I trust and that WANTS to do business. Reading other comments and reviews about this company tells me everything i need to know and everyone should rather stay clear and find alternative competent companies to handle your payment gateway.

Declining service is intolerable

Good service for the first year. Second year fraught with software glitches, bad plugins, and loss of service and ability to take online payments. Also we had issues of not getting notified about our orders for over an hour after they were placed. All were met with denial of responsibility, only to be discovered that they were indeed the fault of dpo. I’m currently in day 11 of not being able to accept payments. Not getting any replies from the support team. Seems everyone is on holiday. Time to switch to another provider. Dpo seems determined to let me go out of business.

They told us booking.com together wth DPO working together in a program called grand payment and refund and they promised us to get 80000 and pay 3000 for application form but all it's a lie we are paying more money from 15000 upwards but not getting our money back y are they doing this and they said their program ends in 2 days others payed so much n thy still want more n we r failing to continue as our pockets are dry because of tht scam incident wth XV advertisement so we still hv to loose our fortune again please government intervene on this it's too much

Bad Service

At this point I can say DPO payment platform is a disappointment we have been using them since 2019 our experience with them was a disaster, the date of settlement is always not accurate they delay to pay out.
They over charge us and their back-charge are ridiculous and unfair please be aware

Scam and organized gang fraud

thank you for being very careful with this organization, in fact, after having validated more than 25 thousand dollars on their payment gateway, they are trying to find several reasons not to make the payment, this story has lasted for more than 60 days. It smacks of scam and organized gang fraud

The worst customer support!

Such a worst customer support services they have. We bought a service and paid them fully. We are having business in Dubai. We are keep telling them issues and they have very bad customer support and they don’t bother to resolve the issues.

Totally doesn’t recommend them.

Well since posting the last review DPO after promising to look into this they did nothing so I have now left it in the hands of Customs at LHA and authorities. Don't be fooled by them please!!

Since writing the review below DPO have contacted me and asked for a further £750 for a solicitors fee in order to clear my parcel! FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON ME FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON YOU!! This company have scammed me out of £1065.00 I was sent a parcel from overseas which was very sentimental it arrived at LHA and DPO Delivery sent me an email saying to pay this money for insurance to ensure safe delivery and gave me a code to give to the Courier who would then refund my money. Alas after 63 emails of which the last 10 have come back as undeliverable I have no parcel and no money back. I'm devastated I'm a pensioner and just had a stroke. I've been so foolish but they seemed so genuine when I spoke to them, feeling very ashamed I was taken in by them.

Please please don't anyone use this company they are now refusing to deliver my parcel unless I pay a further £750.00

I now have nothing, having spent 4 days in the Intensive Care Unit and a further 3 weeks in hospital after being found unconscious I wake up to this.

DPO have never responded despite the response posted.

This is a scam company

This is a scam company. Please do not use this company for transactions. I submitted a payment and the initial payment did not go through. So I tried for a second attempt, literally 4 minutes apart, and then both payments went through. DPO fraud department reached to me to ensure this was not a fraudulent activity. I verified myself and asked for one one payment to go through. Well they cleared both payments and charged the other customer $250 for each transaction, when only one transaction was supposed to go through. And in order for them to refund me the money back, they want to charge the customer another $250. And they claim, there is nothing they can do which is utterly false. Terrible experience. Please DONT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR BUSINESSES

To be honest DPO doesn’t care about new…

To be honest DPO doesn’t care about new customers. I submitted all they needed, they wanted me to get a License for my business I almost had an accident because of this whole process because the body providing the License is far from my state I had to travel two states unfortunately for me I didn’t get it because they told me they had moved. So I decided to submit my E learning platform since License is still pending, the customer support I was assigned to from day one has been tossing me around always asking me to get currency converter to my website which I did. Dude is so rude(Ambrose) each time I call to ask about feed back he hung up on me. He stopped reply my messages on WhatsApp. For over three months have been suffered by dpo group customer service support. The problem isn’t dpo but the customer service support especially the Ones in Nigeria. The sole reason why am bent on having dpo is the fast payout time and all there security in terms of tackling fraud nothing more. As of today my issue hasn’t been resolved once it get resolved will come back and share my experience with them. But customer service support in Nigeria are wack and they treat customers as though they are doing us a favor.

Recommendation

I would highly recommend DPO group, it makes life easier when it comes to digital payments as it accepts all modes of payments, I have used it for 6 years now, it has been so useful and has made my business grow. Joan is very helpful, takes ownership on everything and her communication is outstanding.

Terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. The worst I have ever come across. Using DPO as our online payment provider has been the worst mistake ever.

They randomly sent an email on the 21st October informing us they are closing our account with no reason given except for "regulatory and scheme compliance requirements".

We have been going back and forth for over a week trying to get our money paid to us but they are yet to pay us our money and are constantly creating various loops and hoops to go through just to access OUR OWN MONEY. This is still ongoing and we are so frustrated we are honestly going to just tell them to keep the money. We are tired.

Our experience with DPO throughout has been very bad. Virtually every payment made to us by our clients gets flagged for further inspection which delays our sales and gives our customers a bad experience.

We have absolutely no problems with our other payment providers such as Paystack, Paypal and Flutterwave. This is why months ago we stopped processing payments through DPO, because the drama was way too much.

I understand that safety and security are important, but these guys take it to a whole new level which damages and impedes the sales process and customer experience.

I will not be recommending DPO to anybody.
Their software is good but the customer service from their "Customer Care Officers" is terrible and I believe is what is making them lose customers.

I have NEVER written a bad review about anybody or any business in all of my life, even when they were bad, but I just can't keep quiet regarding this. This should let you know just how bad it is.

I am highly disappointed.
So much stress just to get your own money.

Hopefully someone from DPO sees this review and does something about our case, otherwise, we will be leaving further reviews on other review websites.

Enough is enough.
No wonder nearly 40% of the reviews on here are ONE STAR. If I could leave a Zero star review, I would.

DPO Online payment services are great, the team is very helpful and friendly.
