I bought a £129 heated throw for my mother’s birthday.
It is faulty and did not even switch on.
I have messaged, emailed for two weEKS now and I am still no where near returning the item.
This company fob you off with automatic AI responses that do not get back to you , even though they state that they will reply to your query within 24hrs, which they don’t.
Emails are the same , you get send on a merry go round when they ask you more questions and then don’t reply!!
I’m at the end of my tether!!

Attempting to call for customer advice after a Dreamland heated throw failed after little use, there was an elaborate phone menu followed by lengthy music on hold followed by an announcement of no staff to speak to and to call again later which I did with the same result.
As a cold and elderly person I felt no alternative but to buy a replacement outright for a product that seems long term unreliable.
Prompt phone service would have avoided me publishing failure of two Dreamland products.
I suspect unreliability stems from unavoidable local overheating by creasing, induction with a tv remote or metal food tray: all legitimate use by an old person sitting in a chair trying to keep warm. In other words, maybe not fit for purpose.

Dreamland responded by belated email repeating info already given.
Then told me to refer to the donor of my gifted product!

I was given a heated throw as a gift from my sister.She has one and we both agree that the quality is excellent.I have had mine for two winters and it has been a godsend.It has saved me a lot of money on heating bills.I would certainly recommend this brand as would my family.

I received the last one in January 2025. I only used this one on a few occasions as we were soon after into Spring and Summer. I started using it again in October of 2025 and very soon after that, it stopped working again. It had a two year guarantee. However Dreamland informed me that as it was out of guarantee they would not do anything about it. Disgusted. !!

Like the other reviewer offer a 15% voucher on the next purchase there will not be another and I urge others not to buy from this company who knows what you will get. I recently had an issue with my order where the wrong item was sent. The company did offer to send the correct order, but I was required to return the incorrect one first, which was quite inconvenient considering the mistake wasn’t mine.
While I understand that errors can happen, I would have appreciated a smoother process or a gesture that better acknowledged the inconvenience caused. When I asked for a goodwill gesture, I was offered 15% off my next order — but since I wasn’t planning to order again, this didn’t feel like meaningful compensation.
The customer service team was polite and responsive, but overall, I was left disappointed by how the situation was handled. I hope the company reviews its procedures and offers more customer-friendly solutions in future cases like this.

We will NEVER attend Dreamland ever again. And I suggest you don’t either, unless you’re happy to have items that aren’t obviously banned on the list of yes and no confiscated.
It seems we are not alone in experiencing such a situation judging by recent posts I’ve read.
At what point is a tiny folded up bag dangerous? At what point does anyone consider it banned, especially when it has been through American Airport security checks.
I am still waiting for an accurate justification for my wife having her 20 year old bag that has loads of sentimental significance confiscated without any reason given at the time nor now.
Congratulations Dreamland for having unclear guidance regarding prohibited items (although this summer based upon news headlines, Ketamine is easily available within the venue) and if you are still going to attend Dreamland for a gig, don’t take anything that can be unfolded to bigger than A4.
You can still have drugs in your pockets, wear a fold down hoody that has a longer drawstring within it (total material size being closer to A2 than A4!) and ultimately have random items confiscated without any REAL JUSTIFICATION.
I’m looking forward to Dreamland’s response to this review, but suspect it’s never going to happen.

We need to make a serious compliant.
We asked someone in security to help us leave early which ended up with passing us to someone else to get to the exit.
We ended up leaving the exit up the ramp to the entry of dreamland.
We was walking up the slant and my disabled son was knocked clean out by men running down the hill being chased by police. My friend who was the 2nd carer broke her thumb. The man literally just ran down the slant to main entrance and knocked him clean to the floor.
Police wanted our details but we had to go for the train. We explained if they wanted us to stay we would need a lift back to Folkestone.
My disabled son is traumatised. To the point of calling out of hours social services and Kent county council whom his full care plan is with so this will be a full investigation.
There was never a safe exit out as advised but when we did get out that happened.
Please put this through to complaints team immediately as my official complaint for the first time we have ever been at your venue.
If you do not have a compaint department then we will go straight to an ombudsman for health and safety.
It’s now 2.20am and I still can NOT calm him down after being taken out by police chasing a man who took my son clean out towards your main doors

I take it this is Dreamland Margate not the bed shop as some seem to think!
I was sent two emails from Dreamland this morning to book tickets for Sister Sledge. I clicked on both and one took me to Ticketmaster and the other took me to AXS. Although the email clearly said that there was a £20 ticket offer, neither sites showed this so I presumed it was either a mistake or they had gone. I went with AXS as I usually do as I have the app and I paid £142.66 for 4 tickets.
I have now had two more emails apologising for a problem with the link to get the £20 offer and the same tickets are now available for £99.25.
I have written to their customer service department asking them to refund me the difference as the error was theirs and the email was sent by margatesummerseries.co.uk. I received a response from their customer service department but it says that it could take 14 working days to respond which is not acceptable.
I also called the phone number they publish and that just goes to voicemail. I have left a message but don't hold out any hope of getting a reply.
I have looked online for their complaints procedure but cannot find this anywhere, so I am left with no choice other than to contact the independent ombudsman to raise my concerns.
Halloween Event was terrible. Very misleading advertising.
We went to a Halloween event at the Roller Disco. Firstly it was very poorly advertised and very misleading. It was advertised multiple times as a 'Roller Disco'...except it wasn't a Roller disco at all, it was just at the venue. This wasn't mentioned anywhere! Multiple people turned up with skates, to be disappointed that no skating was to take place.
It was also advertised as a Rock/alternative party. The music was shocking. I recognised 2 songs for the 3 hours I was there. I'm heavily into rock/alternative music, and that's not what they played. A few emo songs, and some music which I assume is similar to rave music. Most people on the dance floor were side stepping waiting for a decent song to come on. Advertised as 'Kent's best alternative Halloween party.' Laughable.
Anyway, I messaged Dreamland about the misleading advertising and they didn't seem to care.
A complete waste of money.
I will never buy another Dreamland blanket!
I had a previous Dreamland electric blanket for many years and it was wonderful, it fitted tightly over the mattress with a valance on all 4 sides which held it perfectly in place. The controller was a manual slide switch and one knew exactly what setting it was on. It also had heating elements which reached the edges of the bed. However, things wear out so I naturally chose a Dreamland replacement (type R9042).
It's AWFUL! It's supposed to be a double blanket and it fits as a double but the heating elements occupy just 2/3rds of the middle of the blanket - the edges stay cold. It also 'drifts' toward the bottom of the bed because the fastening system is poorly designed. The controller is an over-sensitive electronic touch system in which I have no confidence. It is just too easy to turn it on by mistake.
I will never buy another Dreamland blanket!

I hate their blankets. Overblanket is too short and the shiny edging is cold on your face if it even reaches that far! I've had 3 (more fool me) but the reviews on the Web always rate this in first place! WHY? The controller goes after a few months. Especially annoying with a double as 1 controller goes and your left with half an electric blanket. Rubbish and should be out of to pasture!

Terrible terrible service, don't bother ordering from here, I had to wait 2 months for my product only to be told at the 11th hour that they can't fulfil it. Customer service just says " I don't know" extremely incompetent. No-one returns your calls or emails. I did receive a refund after the fact. So today called again and asked if they were able to fulfil orders, the dosey customer service agent again said... " I dont' know" This company are the worst. I wanted to order again but now they've put up the prices and won't honour the original price. Imbeciles, do not trust them with your hard earned money
