Een auto-abonnement is de jongste en makkelijkste manier om een auto voor jezelf te hebben. Je betaalt een vast bedrag per maand en als je de auto niet meer nodig hebt, of een andere wilt, zeg je het abonnement op of pas je het aan. Met een auto-abonnement heb je nauwelijks verplichtingen. Drive4joy is de eigenaar van de auto en betaalt de verzekering en de wegenbelasting. We nemen de servicebeurten en reparaties voor onze rekening. Je rijdt dus zorgenvrij. Het enige wat we van jou verwachten is een vast bedrag per maand. Opzeggen doe je een maand van tevoren. Verder gaan we er van uit dat je de auto onderhoudt alsof die van jou is. Want dat is ie natuurlijk ook (een beetje).

Super service

Super service. Ik had snel een auto nodig en deze had ik binnen 1 week kunnen regelen via drive4joy. Alles ging heel vlot en snel. Zou zeer zeker weten hier je auto abonneren

Kom nalatig over, en belooft dingen die uiteindelijk niet na worden gekomen.

Highly professional

Bas is excellent with customers. Always very responsive with emails and calls, always follows up when he says he will (often faster than you expect), and really wants you to have the best driving experience. You can tell he loves the cars he rents and wants his customers to be excited too.

No Joy - hours to fix basic problem

4 days now with no car and no plan to fix it. Drive4joy are no help at all and our car needs a new battery. The service partner drive off and said to contact Drive4Joy who then put as back to the service partner. They keep sending people to restart car that doesn't start the next day. Service partner staff dont know who drive4joy is and tell me to contact the dealer, given I didn't buy the car I can't go to the dealer. 4 days and still trying to get a car to run that costs many Euros per day and they cannot arrange a battery. Absolute waste of time dont engage they have zero customer service

Unfortunately, car malfunctions can happen — even with the best-maintained vehicles. That’s why we’ve put in place a clear and direct process to ensure you receive help as quickly as possible:

Dedicated Roadside Assistance Number (+31(0)20-8512294): Available directly on our website (no phone menus), this number connects you immediately with our roadside partner.

Official Dealer Support: If the car cannot be fixed on the spot, our roadside assistance will transport the vehicle to the nearest official dealership. We work with all official dealerships throughout the Netherlands, and they can locate our vehicles via the license plate in the national ROB system.

Replacement Vehicles: These are arranged by the dealership, as per our agreements.

Support in English: We also maintain a dedicated English-language website that includes full FAQs and step-by-step instructions for situations like yours.

It appears that in this case, the correct service channels may not have been used, which led to confusion between service partners, dealers, and ourselves. This isn’t the experience we aim to deliver, and we’re taking steps to reinforce our communication with all partners to prevent future misunderstandings.

We’re very sorry for the disruption, and we truly appreciate your feedback — it helps us improve. Positive experience

We have had a very positive experience with Drive4joy so far. We took out a 6 month lease which was processed & delivered in less than a week. We had an issue with the air conditioning on the car and they went out of their way to solve it for us. They could improve their upfront communication a little but otherwise they seem great.

Very good Service

Very good Service. Very reponsive help-desk. Price just below the average.
Overall I'm very satisfied with this and I will suggest it to anyone with similar problems.

Needs improvement

My experience was kind of mixed between good and bad. First car was brand new but had many faults with electronics. There was no follow up to my complaint. I had to wait one month with a faulty car to get a replacement car. The replacement car had no faults with electronics but was given dirty and with multiple scratches from the former driver. I must also say that unfortunately is a bit hard to get in touch with them because there is no possibility to call them directly but only via email. A dedicated phone number would help a lot.

Hi goedemiddag,

Bedankt voor uw review. Helaas zijn we voor het eerst in ons bestaan (ruim 2,5 jaar) genoodzaakt geweest om de tarieven met 30 euro per maand te verhogen.

Dit is het directe gevolg van hogere kosten (wegenbelasting, reparaties & onderhoud, bpm etc.).

Dit hebben wij ook netjes per mail gecommuniceerd. Ook had u het recht om de auto in te leveren met een bedenktermijn van 30 dagen. Dit heeft u niet gedaan.

Een prijsverhoging is nooit leuk en al helemaal niet als uw abonnement net is gestart. Maar alle kosten lopen op, dus we hadden geen andere keus.

Prettig weekend gewenst en uiteraard nog heel veel rij-plezier met uw Drive4joy auto!
