Terrible driver

Was driving down the M20 on the 21/04/22 and one of your trucks decides to pull into the inside lane after I had just joined the motorway causing me to veer onto the hard shoulder. I had tried to make the driver aware of me by beeping but he can’t have heard me. I’m not normally one to moan and I appreciate all lorry drivers and how hard they work but that level of driving was dangerous!

Extortionate postage charges for samples

Ordered two £1.00 samples from this company, and despite it stating all postage was free, I got invoiced for £9.99 postage, plus £4.00 tax - so a £2.00 order cost me £14.99! I could not get through to them by phone, so emailed to cancel my order. The only reply I got was to say they hoped I enjoyed my samples and that I could get a discount on my next order!! Will never use this company again!!

Total disaster - Strongly recommend to avoid this company

Placed a business order over 6 weeks ago for bespoke branded boxes. It took 3 weeks to get a quote. After receiving the quote and confirming the order I have chased for four weeks to have samples of the boxes. Raised the issue with the top management to be told that their employee that provided the quote was not fully trained and he did not action the order or checked the pricing following their internal procedures. I was promised they would investigate and sort this out quickly. After another two weeks waiting still no answer. A total of 6 weeks totally waisted waiting for answers. Wonder how companies like this can be in business and the management still be there in place. Contacted another business yesterday. They provided the quote in 2 hours, confirmed the order in the following hour, paid the deposit and this morning they sent proof of the files. DH Smith you have plenty to learn. Your competitor was very happy about how your treat your customers.

Received the wrong item and they don’t seem to care

Received the wrong item and emailed them to see what can be done. These things happen. Got a phone call shortly after from them and they apologised and said it would be sorted. Then got an email to say the wrong item would be picked up and the right item would be sent out as this would be passed to customer service. Thought this was incredible service and was really pleased.

It’s been a month and I’ve heard nothing and received nothing. I’ve emailed several times but had no reply and now left with a product I didn’t pay for and no packaging (the item I paid for). I completely understand covid has caused staff shortages and delays and so been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But it’s been a month since I ordered and was originally told it would be dispatched in a week. Disappointed and out of pocket.

Excellent service

Excellent service. During an extremely busy time towards the end of December they went out of there way to help us out and organise a same day delivery for an urgent order.

Cannot rate or thank this supplier enough. We will most certainly be using them again.

The company offers very high services. The boxes were exactly as presented on the site and delivery was very prompt, despite the very busy period around Christmas. I will definitely order again.

Terrible experience

AVOID!!!!
I placed an order which did not arrive by the stated delivery time, I then contacted the company which then informed me they did not have the item I ordered in stock which would mean I would have to wait further. I asked for the order to be canceled, as I had already waited past the stated delivery time and after paying £6.99 for shipping this was unaccetpable. After I asked for my order to be cancelled, i received no response. The next email I received was a dispatch notification. I reached out to my account managaer AGAIN after he ignored my last email, as I was hoping he could stop them item as DHL has not yet received it. I was told to do it myself or wait a further few days for it to arrive to then decline delivery, which I did. I then email regarding a refund and was ignored again until I called customer servcie (after mentioning I would open a case on paypal) who said my refund would be sent. My account manaager then emailed to say I would not get a refund until there returns department has received it. This reponse is actually againt my consumer rights as the parcel has never been in my posesion therefore meaning, it is not my responsibility. My issue is this could have all been avoided but the company choice to ignore my request as an attempt to unlawfully keep my money. I will never order anything from them again.

Less than desirable experience due to courier chosen

Still awaiting refund on delayed shipment. Like others
I ordered on the basis the boxes could be received within 48 hours, however after 4 and eventually 8 days passed it was clear this was over ambitious!
Very helpful Ben @ DS apologised profusely as it was clear DHL has no clue where my parcel was!? I was promised a refund on 9/12 which I’m still awaiting...
Then would you believe the boxes turned up looking battered
some days later!? I had already referred to another company and posted my items so refused the delivery, a few days later DHL order returned (AGAIN!?) with the same battered parcel now looking more bedraggled! Absolutely shocking experience hence the poor score

48HR DELIVERY PAID FOR MORE LIKE 5 DAYS

Purchased for the only reason that they were stating a 48hr delivery window. So before you blame Covid and Christmas try being honest about delivery. Boxes never turned up. When I called they couldn't even locate their own goods! Severely impacted my business...they promised to resend order...they did not. Then had the audacity to ask for a review. Well here it is. Needless to say I wont be ordering again. DHL are poor so why use them. But to then not resend after promising...shabby outfit..

Yes they were delivered on the 14th. But were supposed to arrive on the 11th...When I called DS Smith I was told that DHL couldn't locate my boxes. I was apologised to and promised a replacement would be sent that same day 11th. You dont have an emergency service as stated in your reply. I offered to pay extra to get my replacement sent quicker, was told as you only use DHL there was no facility to do this. Your response is "flawed". And further certified my original review.
The reply they give to this is a joke. They haven't even read the facts properly and replied with nonsense. What a joke!
