Wonderful advice from Dubarry Team. I was surprised to learn the age of my boots!
The leather is still in such good condition, even after 12 years but the soles are worn. I have the option to get a new sole for my old boots or buy new boots .....Perhaps both! Thanks Dubarry

This is an update: Customer service reached out to me and the issue has been resolved to my complete satisfaction.
Terrible, Terrible customer service and product!
With bad weather around the corner in the Northeast USA I would love to use my Dubarry boots, but sadly cannot because the sole completely fell off! See my review below.
Dubarry should stand behind their product and replace these boots. I bought them in 2009 (cannot find my receipt as I never thought I'd have to prove when I bought them!) but Dubarry insists my boots are pre-2006! This means that they had a serious distribution issue in the USA when they first marketed these boots here and hence sold me 3+ year old boots . The boots most likely sat in a non climate controlled warehouse which weakened the boots before I even purchased them.
They offered me a discount on a new pair of boots which is completely unsatisfactory. On top of that they mentioned I shouldn't expect more than 5-6 years of life from them. Ridiculous, considering the price of the boots.
Again, my boots were kept in pristine condition. If these boots cannot withstand New Jersey then how could they ever hold up to the weather extremes in Ireland?!
I want Dubarry to make this right and either replace these boots or fix them.
Original review: I bought a pair of tall Galway boots around 2009/2010. Probably was one of their first US customers. I wore them a few times a year taking care to properly treat them and store them when not worn. Early winter 2023 the soles completely crumbled and fell apart. I brought them to my cobbler who agreed that something like that never should have happened especially given the fantastic condition I kept the boots in. I contacted Dubarry in the hopes that they would stand behind their product and replace the boots (apparently the way the sole is molded it cannot be repaired). They refused to replace the boots. They offered a discount on a new pair of boots and told me I should not expect them to last beyond 5-6 years. I am completely unsatisfied with that response. I paid $500 for a pair of boots that are marketed to withstand the test of time. I am so disappointed in this brand.

I was one of the early customers who purchased a pair of Fastnet Dubarry sailing boots. Unfortunately, I have experienced repeated issues with the boots since then. I have already had them exchanged twice, and each time, I was asked to keep their emails for future leakage problems. I appreciate their service, but unfortunately, it has not resolved the issue. On the third exchange, I received a message stating that they could no longer provide a warranty as the boots were no longer covered by it. The third pair of boots is only a year old and has been used 15 times.
Regrettably, it should be noted that it's not just my own pair that has been exchanged, but also my wife's and one of my good sailing friend's pairs. So now we'll have to see when they also experience problems again with their exchanged pairs.
I am disappointed with Dubarry's handling of the situation. In Denmark, a new warranty is usually offered when you receive an item in exchange, but unfortunately, this is not the case with Dubarry. Furthermore, I have noticed that the Fastnet Dubarry sailing boots have also been discontinued from Dubarry's range. This raises questions - why is this the case?
I was offered a 20% discount on a new pair of boots by Dubarry, but even with this discount, the price is equivalent to the regular discounted price for the same boots in Denmark. For these reasons, I will unfortunately no longer purchase boots from Dubarry. I hope this review provides insight into my perception of their customer service. I also note that I am not the only one on Trustpilot who has experienced challenges with their service.
It is with these experiences in mind that I share this review. I wish to provide a realistic insight into our experiences with the product and the subsequent customer service. My review of Trustpilot reviews suggests that our challenges are not unique. I hope that future buyers will consider this review when contemplating a purchase from Dubarry.

Dubarry of Ireland has proven to be the perfect solution to my problem. Their products and service have exceeded my expectations.
I had a specific need, which Dubarry of Ireland quickly and effectively understood. Their range of products could cover my needs in a way that was both stylish and functional. Furthermore, their customer service was friendly and helpful throughout.
Dubarry of Ireland has truly delivered a solution that not only meets but also exceeds my expectations. I am very satisfied with the result, and I would definitely recommend them to others with similar needs.

I purchased a pair of boots in a recent sale online, or so I thought. 4 days after Dubarry had taken the money, I was informed that the boots were out of stock.
What an inferior online ordering system! I feel it was very unethical to take money when the item was out of stock!
I won't be buying from Dubarry anymore.

My 20 year old son is one of the youngest AQPS on Clipper round the world race and was let down trying to buy Dubarry CrossHaven sailing boots in a size 13. I contacted then direct and still no joy , but obviously Donna and team decided to keep trying unbeknown to me , they found a pair of UK 13s and assured me they would get them to Angus in plenty of time before the Race start . This is going above and beyond and it is a very valuable quality to have , in life and in business

Attention au site internet il y a un site identique qui est une arnaque !
J’ai contacté la société pour un avis sur une paire de bottes. J’ai par la suite acheter ces bottes en soldes sur un site qui s’est révélé frauduleux avec une adresse Dubarryfrance.com identique à leur site .
Dubarry ne m’a pas prévenue de l’existence de ce site dont ils avaient connaissance !!!

UPDATED FOLLOWING REPAIR...
The soles of my Dubarry Ultima boots detached with no warning during an offshore sailing trip which meant that I was without boots for 7 days. So that was extremely disappointing. However I'm pleased to say that Dubarry have shown goodwill and have replaced the soles of the boots via their repair partners.

I bought a pair of boots from dubarry a few years back which were a fantastic buy, the sole came away a little after alot of wear, I contacted the dubarry customer service and they were amazing.. they repaired my boots with no question, they were very nice and super professional about it, I couldn't be happier with them, exceptional customer service experience.

We have 10 crew and we all wear Dubarry Ultima Sailing boots, and despite the cost they are worth every single penny and if looked after you'll get a good 15-20 years service.
Simply the best sailing footwear on the market.
