We are so pleased with our beautiful conservatory. As the workforce are all employed by Dunraven, the scheduling of trades was amazing. The guys were respectful, polite, and worked so hard.

Outstanding professional and highly skilled staff which gave us a First class 5* service from day 1 right up to completion. Every professional knew the products very well, provided first class customer service and this enabled a top quality job to be completed in good time.
Excellent job. Replacement conservatory roof for Lifestyle roof which looks great. Internals finished with downer lights which has really updated it to a full useable room.
Would highly recommend.

We had an extension completed by Dunraven last October, and initially we were very happy with the finished result. Unfortunately, after a couple of months, significant issues began to appear.

Large cracks developed across the entire upstairs rear wall, which have now widened to around 5mm. This suggests there may be a more serious underlying structural issue. The project manager initially came out to inspect the cracks and advised that they would monitor them, but we have heard nothing since. In the meantime, the cracks have continued to worsen, both upstairs windows no longer open correctly as they did before the building work, and the bathroom tiles have cracked even further.

There were also electrical works carried out in the garage to remove a live wire. Since then, the electrics have not worked properly, with the circuit repeatedly tripping and the garage light no longer functioning as it did previously.

The main reason for this review is the lack of aftercare and the ongoing delays in resolving outstanding issues. Even nine months after completion, we still do not have Building Regulations sign-off because an extractor fan is required and the cracks upstairs. We informed Dunraven from the outset that we were installing a downdraft hob, and as they completed the electrical work, we believe we should have been advised that a separate extractor fan would still be needed, just as we were informed about the extractor fan required for the downstairs WC. We were only made aware of this requirement when the first Building Control inspection finally took place.

It is also worth mentioning that Dunraven did not arrange the Building Control inspection until I repeatedly chased them, despite knowing the project required Building Regulations approval which the project manager suggested this was not needed.

I first contacted the project manager about the extractor fan on 27 April. It is now 29 July, and despite numerous emails, messages and attempts to contact both the project manager and the electrical team, we are still waiting for the fan to be installed so the project can finally be signed off.

I have also requested that Dunraven arrange for a structural engineer to inspect the cracks upstairs, but this concern has so far been ignored.

We have invested a significant amount of money into this project, leaving us with very little budget to complete the rest of our renovation. It is incredibly frustrating that we are still having to chase issues that appear to be directly related to the work carried out. Throughout the project there were also other concerns, including damage to our new doors and several workmanship issues, but I have not gone into detail about those here.

All we want is for these issues to be resolved. We should not have to spend our time repeatedly chasing responses during the period covered by our 10-year guarantee, only to be ignored or promised callbacks from the office that never happen.

We bought a conservatory from Dunraven and after comparing the prices against a few other firms, the fact that they dealt with every part of the build, including planning permission and moving the gas meter sold it to us.
The initial design was amended and this wasnt a problem.
The groindnworl and base was installed very efficiently by competent professional builders who were easy to get on with amd couldn't do enough for you.
The next stage is where we hit a snag....
The initial installers made a mistake.
This mistake cost us a few days and meant new glass and materials had to be ordered but, after they left the company, 2 teams were brought out to make up for the mistake and catch up with the build.
The manager Gareth, was incredible. Always on hand and pre-emptive with his communications.
I also have to give a special mention to the senior fitter Jaye, who again was incredible. Very good at his job and explained everything as he went along.
We're over the moon with the job and would highly recommend Dunraven becasue of these guys.
People make mistakes but, the way they are corrected goes a long way.

Salesman and fitter were extremely polite and professional. There was a delay for the surveyor and a delay for fitting but got there in the end. Windows and front door fitted. The fitter did not stop, and was working over 2/3 days. I would recommend Dunraven Windows.

Project missold and now refusing to refund the deposit.
I have contacted several times and it feels like I am being fobbed off.
We had a visit from Dunraven to price up a proposed extension pending us being able to secure funds via a remortgage. The man who visited said that he was a Director so we believed we were in good hands, this turned out to be false...he was not a Director.

We were happy with the cost of the proposed works but explained that we cannot formally go ahead since funding was not guaranteed. After suggesting on several occasion that we will come back to them when funds are in place, he suggested we paid £500 to simply lock in the prices for 12 months and if funding wasn't available, this would be refunded. On that basis we paid a deposit after reassurance that it was refundable several weeks/months down the line.

We have since received bad news on the remortgage so contacted Dunraven to cancel and get deposit back as promised. We were informed that we needed to cancel within 7 days to get deposit back. This is actually incorrect....when signing in the home you should get 14 days by UK law.
The salesman knew the situation and tucked us up with the sales contract.
When we paid the deposit and signed the forms, I was made to believe I was simply signing for the price of the extension and I raised the question about the cooling off period to be told this didn't' apply since it was pending funds...a complete lie.
We explained the situation and were promised a call back from a Manager to discuss. One call has been received which I missed, and I have called back many time since with no luck.

I spoke to the salesman after trying to cancel and he blatantly lied and said he remembered no such conversation which defies any logic given our financing situation.

BEWARE. the salesman will say anything to get the sale, then lie about the conversation!!

Refund received with thanks, a stressful situation now resolved. I was contacted first thing Monday morning with confirmation of the refund, having left this review on Friday evening. I have been asked to remove this review but after some thought, I think it is fair to leave the review since it was a truthful account of my experience and other customers need to be aware of it.

There was loads of phone call from them. I had told them to remove my phone number for 2 years. They still calling.

From our very first enquiry through to the completion of our orangery today, our experience with Dunraven has been exceptional.

Our project was far from straightforward. We live in a townhouse built into a hillside, so although the front of the property is at ground level, the orangery had to be constructed at the rear, which is effectively at first-floor level. This presented a number of logistical challenges, but the team took everything in their stride and never allowed the complexity of the build to affect either the quality of the workmanship or their positive attitude.

What impressed us most throughout the entire project was the professionalism of every single person involved. They worked through some extremely hot weather without complaint, were always polite, knowledgeable and approachable, and kept us fully informed at every stage of the build. We always knew what was happening next, which made the whole process far less stressful than we had anticipated.

A special mention must go to Dean and "Cyril", who carried out the main building work. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail and work ethic were outstanding. Sonny and Paul completed the installation to an exceptionally high standard, Harley and Jordan produced a flawless plaster finish, and Spencer and Dan did a fantastic job with the tiling. The entire project was expertly coordinated by Gareth, whose organisation and communication ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

The site was always kept clean and well organised. Skips arrived and were collected when needed, waste was removed promptly, and everything was given a thorough clean before completion. It was clear that Dunraven take as much pride in how they leave a customer's home as they do in the work itself.

The project was completed within an excellent timescale, and on the rare occasions when small issues arose, they were dealt with quickly, efficiently and without any fuss. That level of customer service gave us real confidence throughout the build.

We also feel we received excellent value for money. The quality of the materials, workmanship and overall finish is first class, and we believe the price we paid was very fair for the standard of product and service we received.

Most importantly, Dunraven haven't simply built us an orangery—they've completely transformed the way we use our home. The new space has given the house a beautiful Mediterranean feel, floods it with natural light, and the large bi-fold doors allow us to open the whole rear of the house into the garden. We're convinced we'll spend far more time enjoying both our home and our outdoor space, and the connection to fresh air and natural light will have a real positive impact on our wellbeing for years to come.

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dunraven to family and friends. Thank you to everyone involved for creating such an incredible space—we couldn't be happier with the result.

New front door. Salesman, surveyor and fitter all professional, knowledgeable and polite.

My sister recommended Dunraven to me after she had her conservatory, front door and some windows done. I hired for them a new door. I wasn’t disappointed. Chris the sales rep came and went through the financial aspects. A couple of weeks later, surveyor came for precise measurements. A month later, the installer came. He was quick and neat. I couldn’t fault any of the staff on the phone or face to face. I’m so impressed with them that I’ve rehired them to change my conservatory schedule into an Orangery to make the room more usable during hot and cold months.

Both salesman and fitters were extremely polite and professional, salesman was informative and not pushy. Windows fitters did not stop until they finished, it was a hot day. I definitely recommend Dunraven Windows. And will be using them in the future.

Wow. Absolutely love my extension. The team at Dunraven took care of the planning consent and completed the job within a month despite pouring rain and then the heatwave. It was a big job having to dig down and move 2 drains and Geraint and Jake were fantastic. They were extremely courteous not just to us but also to our neighbours. The standard of build was exceptional and the window fitters, Tyler and Josh were extremely quick installing the doors windows and gutters. Dai and Willy had the plastering and floor laid in 2 days and the electricians were very considerate installing wall lights, sockets and a great modern electric rad. I thoroughly recommend Dunraven, great value for money and our third time commissioning their services. Would not hesitate to recommend them to others. And a local company employing local tradespeople. Excellent job thank you.

Had new door and side panel fitted. Fitter was fine, I am in the process of changing leaded glass windows in my home, I chose “autumn leaves “ patterned glass for the two small glass panels in front door and matching glass side panel. What has been fitted is a front door with autumn leaves pattered glass in front door WHICH HAS BEEN LEADED. If I hadn’t let the fitter get on with his work and had noticed I wouldn’t have let him fit the door. The side panel is plain glass, apparently the glass panel ordered was damaged so without informing me it was decided that a plain panel would be fine as a temporary fit, and it probably is,but customer service should have told me and checked if I was happy with that. I have spoken with someone and have been told the door was made with the leaded glass and those two panel cannot be changed.
Leaded or coloured glass ,I think would be a specific request , I didn’t request leaded glass!
I can’t express how disappointed I am, I’ve cried in frustration over this. Ive only got three leaded windows left to replace and it will have all been removed, except for the damned front door.
Would I use this company again? NEVER, would I recommend them?NEVER.

Such great service, from order to installation. The two guys who installed my windows were very helpful, polite and friendly they cleaned up everything after too. The quality of the windows/locks is excellent.

Dunraven windows were very attentive when winning our business and ahead of fitting our conservatory roof. Unfortunately, once payment was made, the customer service fell away.
Since installation, I’ve called multiple times about clear faults and have not had a call back despite repeated promises:
- The hallway light no longer works properly following the electrician’s visit.
- The 8 spotlights were not installed as agreed on the design; they’re all on one side, leaving the far side of the room dark.
- The original drain pipe was moved and a new one fitted, leaving a C‑shaped gap between the gutter and the external ledge.
- There’s a visible gap up the corner of the wall where the roof meets the structure.
- There are two loose spot-lights.
- The plaster is already cracking and the walls had been left a mess.
- Since the instillation, the wall of the original structure is not level, which caused the mastic to fail and separate on the existing outside structure.
These issues were reported in March and remain unresolved. The contrast between the sales responsiveness and the aftercare has been disappointing. I would urge Dunraven to take ownership and rectify these defects promptly.

We have just had our conservatory roof replaced, the whole experience was good from start to finish, all the staff were very pleasant, the engineers explained things in a clear none technical way and kept the area clean ensuring all waste materials etc were taken away. Not only would I recommend Dunravan we have already booked them to come back and replace a few windows in our home.

We’re absolutely delighted with our new conservatory and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, the build service was superb and the quality of the workmanship really shows in the finished space.

Everything ran like clockwork thanks to how reliable and well-organised the team were. All of the different trades installers were all very friendly and respectful of the garden. All of the trades arrived exactly when they were supposed to, working seamlessly around each other to keep the build efficient and on schedule. It made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free.

Gareth, the project manager, was fantastic throughout. He visited regularly to check on progress, making sure everything was running as it should and keeping us fully informed along the way. It was reassuring to have that level of oversight and attention.

Even after completion, the aftercare has been excellent, which really highlights their commitment to customer satisfaction. We chose to wait nearly 12 months before providing this review in order to allow sufficient time for the build to settle and to assess both the construction quality and the aftercare service in the event that any issues arose. We were really pleased that we didn’t have any significant concerns; only a couple of issues of the doors sticking during periods of heat, but these were addressed promptly and efficiently. Since then, no further problems have arisen.

Overall, a very professional and friendly company - we’d highly recommend them to anyone considering a conservatory build.

All the work was carried out to a very high professional standard. Workmen were fully aware of what we required and were prepared to accommodate minor changes where necessary. The advice they gave was extremely helpful. The finished product looks exceptionally good. Thank you Dunraven.

The staff were all very helpful and polite. The door is as expected, it looks great and the pain of glass above is really cool. The fitting was quick and the fitter nice and polite.
I will be using Dunraven and would definitely recommend them.
