E bay took their fees fast then my item sold . They collected it paid, have eBay paid nope . They're holding it for a month . What person any pay for something and not get their goods. Same as sold something they e bay should pay. Their ripping the public off . Using the excuse there protecting us. That's rubbish it's been 2 weeks ?
Soon they won't have a business its just greed. U go on chat and they they put u on hold and say r u still there . Then cut you off.
I want my money . Then I'm closing account.

E-bay withholding funds for no reason

I have been registered with e-bay for 9 years as a seller. For the last year I have not had much luck selling so when an item has finally sold (for £7) e-bay put my funds on hold for a 'security' reason. When I questioned them I was told told that they will keep putting my funds on hold until I have made a few sales. How ridiculous and unfair! So I am supposed to fork out for postage, pack and send an item and than wait for up to 30 days or more to get my funds less the E-bay inflated charges. Definetely not worth the hustle....I regret now I have not cancelled the sale.

A disgrace and warning for on line purchasing with e-bay.

I paid for an item that did not arrive, I have received messages informing that it had but queried which address it had arrived at because it certainly was not mine. Informed after an e-bay revue that I will not get a refund, fortunately I only lost between £8 and £9 out of my pension. Decided never to buy from e-bay.co.uk again and certainly would not use the .com either.

Three weeks ago I ordered and paid for…

Three weeks ago I ordered and paid for an Olive oil Sprayer. Did not arrive. Contacted e-bay who duly refunded my cash! Three days ago a parcel arrived from e- bay containing an invoice, with the Oil Sprayer order number on it,and guess what…………..a roll of gaffer tape!! Come on E-Bay, you can do better than that!!!💁💁

This is a review of two items a] the system is totally skewed to buyers. I have had a number of non-payers [ mainly from the States] but because we cannot leave negative feedback they continue having positive feedback. How as sellers are we to know if they are difficult. E Bay says they put notes on their accounts but that doesn't help sellers. Also, they give these people ages to pay [ if they ever do], whereas as sellers they are at us if delivery isn't made promptly. The second issue is their customer services, who seem like that they do things by rote from a crib sheet. items are removed from the listing and the account is placed on restrictions. When you attempt to argue the toss, they give the pat answers. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told no one was available [ how convenient]. I came off E Bay a number of years ago only to return after four years several years ago. I think other platforms serve their sellers well.

Warning They will take your money

Warning .Do not use eBay they are a bunch of thieves .
I opened an account to order an item that i couldn't find anywhere else . I ordered got confirmation of the order and delivery date , then on the same day received an e mail that my account has been suspended . I checked my bank and the amount for the item had been taken straight away . I contacted e bay customer services via web chat .They told me that i won't be getting a refund as my account has been suspended . Why did they take payment then ? I will have to take the matter further as i am not happy with this .So don't waste your time or money and keep away .Stick with Amazon who are much more professional than these cowboys .

Do not use e-bay, they are going downhill hosting fake sellers that take you money and don't delever.
I have waited over 3 weeks for my delevery and they have been invasive all the time.
If you do buy DO NOT BUY FROM (RYPOTENS 2006).
this seller will change the year to try and hide

Frustrated Beyond Words

I have been a content E-Bay customer for many years, but they have recently increased their security (which is fine) whereby a code is sent to you. It doesn't work so you can't log on. So after two weeks of being bounced from one automated message and help page to the other, have been left furious, wasted a lot of time and placed multiple orders elsewhere. What happened to good old customer service. So if you are considering joining E-Bay unless they change their ways, no matter what your problem might be there is no practicable, easy and obvious support to be had. Despite what they say. I have never found it so hard to contact a company, and trust me I'm not daft, use computers a lot, and interact with many such companies.

Generally a good experience

Generally a good experience, both of buying and selling. One or two less than complicated exchanges when items have not arrived or in one case was defective but overall very few problems in the over 10 years I have used it and I have had some very nice exchanges when selling items and when buying them.
(It is wise to check the most recent comments on purchases and not just the percentage rating of the seller when buying anything of value; I suspect some buyers may avoid giving a neutral (or negative rating) in case they get a difficult response but they will knock off a point or two on the ratings for the different categories of service and sometimes write polite but revealing comments which can be a give away to think carefully before buying an expensive item from the seller!)

Yet again Ebay falls on the side of a buyer, who abused returns, returned items late then left negative feedback - but that's ok isn't it Ebay - BECAUSE DESPITE THE BUYER NOT PAYING EXTORTIONATE FEES THEY ARE STILL PROTECTED OVER THE SELLER WHO DOES PAY THEM- your customer service is dire - LOYALTY IS NOT REWARDED - ABSOLUTE DISGRACE YET AGAIN - get the negative reviews removed !!!!!

E-BAY. E-BAY, TIME WAS…..BUT NOW IT IS ALL WRECKED

I used e-bay.co.uk regularly. Through time I have seen it becoming another below average company, too big to be bothered with the little men (and women).
Their goods are to a high percentage from other countries whose standards are sacrificed for cheapness, communication has become inexistent, access to communication is in another planet, and their hermetic association with a delivery company that works on the same level in what they call “The Customer Service Team”.
When a few days back I had a delivery problem, I managed, eventually, to access a human in a chat room. The chat screen had a legend at its bottom that read “An email of this conversation will be sent to you”. It happened. WOW!! Pity they didn’t bother reading this transcript which conveyed my request for an email or physical address so I could complain properly, despite the fact that I requested this twice from the operator who promised that I would receive such piece of information.
The 91% dissatisfied people against the 6% happy customers with 3% sitting on the fence speaks volumes. But, Hey! Who cares? E-bay doesn’t.

Websites need to be made simpler

Websites need to be made simpler. This is how it works. Log in, What do you want to do ? Sell ? Buy.
What do you want to sell ? or buy ? done, now upload photo etc and any other info. This took me 5 minutes not the poncing around looking at pages of waffle and forever clicking.

This has to be the worst company ever I would ask people to stay away from buying on here when some item you have purchased does not turn up its a nightmare you can’t get though to customer Sevices they make it that hard to contact them you will drive yourself mad trying to get them it’s not worth your time buying here

Bad product and bad seller

If you feel that the product is bad and give negative reviews, you will be constantly scolded by the seller. I am very disappointed with this experience of buying things here. I will choose to shop on other websites in the future. Other platforms are much better than e-bay.

SELLING ON EBAY

SELLING ON EBAY, Have to say since ebay stopped allowing paypal to accept sales payments it has become a nightmare, expect you to send parcel before getting paid, then can wait 4 or 5 days to recieve payment, plus selling fees have risen,and they take percentage of postage, it has become a waste of time selling anything on there

E-Bay is rubbish now and most of what is on there is rubbish. There doesn't appear to be the means to speak to a human representative anymore, only the option to try and converse with a parrot like robot or to attempt to choose from a list of options which are too inflexible to address a problem. Another example of big companies hiding behind the Internet - which ought to arouse suspicion.
E-Bay was amazing once upon a time but now just another concern intent on making money with no regard and concern for the consumer.

Spiral of decay .

E. BAY is in the spiral of decay ! fees complicated ( didnt used to be ) tries to sell ad ons all the time . Fallen out with Paypal.

there are far better platforms ( and cheaper )out there. I suggest e . bay has had its day. i wont deal via them ever again. They are rip off merchants.

Poor selling experience and it takes ages to get paid by e bay.

First time I've ever sold something on e bay ..... unfortunately I got a buyer who pulled out after they won the item I listed. Although the representative from e bay dealt with me very well , I didn't feel that as a seller there was adequate support . You still get charged for listings and minimum reserve price . What happens about the time waster buyer ? Seems that they get a few chances like this before e bay do anything at all . Lost confidence in selling on e bay .

I bought some DIY tools from e bay

I bought some DIY tools from e bay. Theseller overcharged me £1.73. The item was £13.46 but I was charged £15.19. After several e-mails the seller would not return my money. That's stopped me from buying from E-Bay.
