I completely understand about not loving every clay — textures and flavours are such a personal thing, and finding your favourites can take a bit of experimenting. That’s actually why I often recommend our stash boxes and sampler options (https://www.earthycrunch.co.uk/collections/stash-boxes), as they let you try a variety of textures and flavour profiles in smaller portions before committing to larger amounts.

We’ve also recently started adding sample sizes and 50g portions across more of the catalogue for exactly that reason. A little tip I always suggest is keeping a small note of the textures, crunch levels, and flavours you enjoy most, as it makes future re-orders much easier and helps narrow down your perfect matches 😊

Thank you for your feedback — I’m really pleased you enjoyed the taste and aesthetics of the products.

I do just want to clarify that every single product page on my website clearly states the exact weight of the item being purchased. I sell by weight, not by portion appearance or volume, and I’ve always been incredibly transparent about this. I even have multiple articles and blog posts on the website explaining how pricing and portion sizing work.

My shop is intentionally designed for customers who want to try a wide variety of different clays and textures without committing to large amounts of something they may not enjoy. That’s why many products are offered in smaller portions, including tiny 50g sizes — essentially a “try before you buy” option.

For customers wanting larger quantities, there are also bulk purchase options available ranging from 50g all the way up to 2.5kg portions.

I completely understand that natural products can sometimes appear smaller than expected visually, but the advertised weights are always accurate and clearly listed before purchase.

I'd also strongly recommend you buy directly from the website which is perhaps a lot clearer in the layout (www.earthycrunch.co.uk)

And yes… there is a reason we sell out. I intentionally keep batches small and rotate stock regularly so everything stays as fresh as possible. Once it’s gone, it’s gone — and that’s how we keep the quality top notch every time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback — we’re sorry to hear this was your experience. This is quite surprising, as it goes against how we operate as a business. We do not keep stock for long periods; in fact, one of the things that sets Earthy Crunch UK apart is that we work in small batches and specialise in freshly made treats, which we believe are at their best within weeks of being produced.

The same approach applies to our raw clays, which are sold soon after being foraged. Because of this, some items may naturally have a more earthy aroma or slightly damp texture, particularly if they are freshly unearthed — this is a natural characteristic rather than a sign of age.

We do include care notes with every order, including recommendations for baking if a drier or harder texture is preferred. That said, we truly appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and are always happy to help with guidance if something doesn’t meet your expectations.
