i ordered a part on Nov 20 / 2024…

i ordered a part on Nov 20 / 2024 waited over a month and saw that it was moving around at a fake location in the states, finally i got assertive with ebay demanding my part and were is it, ebay deleted my account and the is no trace of my order number and or my part, ebay is nothing but scammers order number 08-12350-46547

Diappointment Updated

Recent update 1/6/25. Spoke directly with eBay. Resolved problem right away. Much better service from my comments below.

Been with them 7+ years with 900+ buys but question who they help, not the customer but the seller. I have an open case for a refund which eBay has put on hold. Also have been trying to get them to correct a technical issue on my account but they don't fix anything. Going to rethink whether to continue with them. Very disappointed.

Item has been lost and they will not refund my money. will not be ordering again. All the seller has done is shown that they shipped it yet i havent received it and ebay nor the seller will return my money. Wont be ordering again. When i place an order id expect to receive it. If i dont id expect a refund. No reason to deny giving me my money.

Ebay money back - an open invite to fraud and scammers

Ebay uses a "money back guarantee" which virtually allows scammers/buyers to do whatever they want and get a free refund. All they have to do is say the item is not as described if they change their minds, damage the item, or replace it with a fraudulant item. 0 accountability as buyers can just create new accounts. They will never protect sellers despite being top-rated and having years of history. Absolutely horrible. Avoid selling on ebay at all costs.

Return Charges
I ordered an oil seal for my car. After confirming order, realized it would take a month at least to receive, so I cancelled within minutes. But ebay says order has shipped(within minutes?) Now when I try to return it I’ being charged $16 for shipping! How’s that fair? No more ebay for me

Good shopping experience

I have bought several items from eBay.ca and I am happy with the price and shipping options. Items have always been as described. They issued a full refund for 1 item that was not shipped very quickly.

They take forever to arrive and when you want to return something back because of wrong size they will get the item but you will never see your hard earned money.

I did my biggest mistake of my life to buy something from eBay. Worst customer service ever. There’s no coordination among team members. Two customer representatives suggested something and when I did according to their suggestion, I got charged double from the seller. Be aware of all hidden charges the eBay doesn’t mentioned on their website

I bought a high end Cartier and was…

I bought a high end Cartier and was told it to be authentic.
I discovered it was not and was told by there customer service that I could ask eBay to step in to help on the 2nd of September.
After speaking to them they basically told me that they could do nothing for me !!!!
I was very dissatisfied and have lost faith and confidence in eBay

I am still waiting for my cabinet…

I am still waiting for my cabinet bought from great deals on ebay Canada. It is well past the due date for delivery and am getting nothing but the run around from ebay Canada and the seller. They have my money (over $500) and can't get a straight answer from the seller or ebay as to where my purchase is or when/if it will be delivered. I will never buy from ebay Canada or great deals again and advise others to follow my lead.
After several weeks, the cabinet from Buy Great Deals did not show up and ebay Canada informed me that they will return my money.
Don't purchase from Buy Great Deals. You will regret it.

No parameters for declare fraud

They're avoiding parameters to exposing frauds by cards and doesn't have proper forms or clients service's to share important information about it.
They seem more willing to take from your account and fake seller's protections.

eBay is stupid

If I could give you guys a zero start I would but oh no I have to give you at least one star. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever seen. I'd rather deal with Microsoft or Sony CS.

Items keep going “missing” in transit.

The shippers used by eBay are completely incompetent. I’ve tried ordering the same item from two different shippers. The first item was lost in transit and never delivered. Now this same item from a different shipper has been sitting at an eBay shipping hub for 20 days without any movement. I’m sure it’s been “lost” too. What a joke of a company.

eBay's global shipping is absolutely…

eBay's global shipping is absolutely terrible, the seller is made to ship the goods to an eBay hub whereby the item will sit there for days on end with no movement under the disguise of being inspected, which is nonsense. The last two items I purchased sat there in eBays hub for 6 days each, eBay holds these items until they have a load for the carrier which is grossly unfair to the buyer who pays a premium amount for shipping, the reason eBay does this is for cheaper bulk shipping but does not pass this on to the buyer. I am thoroughly disgusted with eBay and will never again shop with them unless absolutely necessary, Amazon is far superior in every way.

I have used eBay for over 10 years

I have used eBay for over 10 years. The platform is horrible for sellers. I have never had a pleasant customer service with eBay at all. Over the call, they are not helpful at all. If you have an account that is not based on US, you can never remove Payoneer and they simply ask you to create a new account. They promised me over chat that they would remove some insertion fees, then they didn't and forced me to buy a store subscription just to have those same fees removed. The platform runs on trust, a buyer can simply say they didnt receive the item and eBay will rip off the seller without any evidence. They will charge 13% fees on every item you sell, so that brings the price of the item very high. They charge insertion fees, final value fees and percentage and then add tax on top of it all to rip sellers off, heres why the prices are higher on it. They wont remove feedback even if buyer did feedback extortion, all they care about is robbing as much from both buyers and sellers as they can.
