Twenty minutes, a pile of screens, and having to type the card details twice is a proper slog. The booking flow does split search and payment into separate steps, and browser cookies or a session refresh can make it look like the same information needs entering again. It shouldn't turn a reservation into an obstacle course; the process ought to feel a lot leaner than that. A clean browser session can sometimes cut down the repetition, though the flow itself should be much easier than that.

Limited mileage and a Duster automatic 4x4 are very specific asks — and the site bugs you ran into don’t make that search any easier. Mileage limits and automatic/4x4 options depend on what each supplier has open for those dates and that location, so if a capped-kilometre version or that exact Duster setup isn’t shown, it usually means it wasn’t available in the offer being displayed. Checking the mileage and gearbox filters together is the best way to narrow it down, though availability can still shift by supplier. Hopefully that gives a bit more clarity for the next search.

That “Latin letters” wording where you’d expect to see “cardholder name” would trip a lot of people up, especially if they don’t use booking tools often. It sounds like the text on that step could be much clearer, because the usual expectation is to enter the name as it appears on the card.
