I would have given 5 stars overall as everything do with the quality of the product and particularly the two people who assembled the glass room on site were exemplary. I wish to single out Simon and Brad who worked together as as team which is not a surprise as they were father and son: I rate them as five stars as they rarely stopped working and a lunch break was something other people did. The room was completed in the declared time of four days.

I have a comment about customer service. This department, as the title indicates, is the link between customer and company. We ordered the glass room in July 2021 and construction started on 31 March 2022 a delay of nearly 9 months through no fault of Eden Verandas bearing in mind the virus and other world events. However it is the sole responsibility of customer service to keep the customer informed whereas I had to ask three or four times for a progress report. This is not my responsibility. Also an email or letter should be signed by a named individual in the customer service department not just from “customer service”. In that way that individual becomes the link to a specific customer and thus confidence is maintained particularly when long delays are encountered.

We wanted a glass veranda, principally to provide cover for our hot tub. A glass roof was important to us so that we did not lose light coming into our kitchen. We did extensive research and were impressed with the Eden Verandas product range. Quality and service was important to us and we are advocates of the 'you get what you pay for' approach. All staff were professional, helpful and a pleasure to do business with at all stages, from the initial visit right through to installation. We have a superior, robust, stylish glass veranda with which we couldn't be more satisfied. We have no hesitation in recommending Eden Verandas.

I ordered my Glass Veranda at the end of July'21. But, due to COVID, manufacturing and delivery was significantly delayed. At all stages Eden Verandas kept me fully informed. They also provided a full service in obtaining the required planning permission. Once delivery was received from Germany installation proceeded in a timely manner. Their installation team was very friendly and competent. All is now installed and I am very happy with the outcome.

Exceptional quality and service - all the staff have been helpful, friendly and very professional. I love the veranda and am already talking to the company about adding to it. They are a great addition to any home and more modern and flexible than a conservatory.

Great service and really pleased with the glass veranda. It was installed in one day with very little fuss and no mess. It looks stunning and we are really pleased with the result.

The customer service was excellent. Our veranda seems to be excellent quality. The teams that delivered and fitted the product were on time, courteous and professional. There was a fair gap between assembly and then the wiring up being completed, due to lack of remote control, which was a bit frustrating. The electricians arrived early (excellent) and went above and beyond with their job. Top marks for them. I’ve only given four out of five because of the time taken from ordering to actually reaching the day of fitting. It was I believe just short of six months. The explanation being due to covid induced manufacturing problems. (Who knows?) Good job so far. Love the look of the product. We now have to wait until the summer to test it for real.

Very efficient installation by friendly individuals. Installation brought forward from our expectation.

From the initial procurement, the start of the process to the much delayed installation, to faults with installation to financing; everything about the Eden Verandas project was unfortunately a poor experience in my opinion.

Although now installed correctly, the fixed issues and a fantastic end product I could not write a positive review or recommend utilising this company.

The lack of clear communication with expectation on timelines (stock management), finance options, varied customer service levels experienced and the sheer whataboutism about the issues with the build was something I could not believe.

I truly believe that a Company with such an excellent end product need to look internally at processes, communication and overall customer support.

The positive was the surveyor for the build whom was factual, open and very professional.

Very disappointed! The brochure states:" A glorious Winter's day...enjoy them all from your Eden Veranda."
What the brochure and salesman didn't say, was that there is condensation in winter, which will cause water to drip from the underside of your veranda, wetting whoever may be standing/sitting underneath. An all weather veranda only if you invest in towels, squeegees and other accessories to dry the underside of the veranda.
Don't even consider keeping furniture under the veranda, if you want your furniture to stay dry.

After sales service was non-existent. I have been waiting a week for a call back from a manager. Still waiting!

Although there was a delay with delivery, due to brexit, the quality of service from design, to installation was excellent.
I would certainly recommend Eden as a supplier.

Could not even be bothered to send a quote. Still waiting for one since April. In my view, companies like these appear to pick & choose which jobs they will do & probably really don't care much about customers.
Thank goodness I eventually found a company with a passion for their business and give their customers hope. Finally, I got a lovely veranda built and I wasn't stupid to wait around for this one.

I am very pleased with the service that we received from Eden Verandas in replacing the seals that had become discoloured. Despite a delay between receipt of the new seals and the installation, I was impressed with the workmanship and efficiency of the installation team.

Great service from start to finish. High quality veranda and high quality service.

Very pleased with the awning, though sadly it is unlikely to be used until the spring.
The electrician was great and am very happy with the entire purchase experience.

I ordered a very large awning for my south facing French doors and windows in March 2021. This eventually arrived with COVID delays in June… duly fitted by contractors and electrician in following month. The awning is excellent and works well.

My rating is poor due to problems with the casing. Surely this part should have been simple for reputable company.

The first contractors fitted a plastic casing … this warped and curled up in full sun on the first days and weeks… EV responded to my complaint with a surveyor visit and made to measure metal casing.

We are now November 21 … the metal casing was fitted last week.

It looks good from the street view however it has been badly cut around the down pipe…...( the reason for the casing) then the contractors have made an odd off cut to cover it up and screwed it down over it for a cover up! It’s a terrible finish and will rust.

The metal casing contractors indicated this was the third plastic casing they have changed.. clearly EV knows poor choice of casing for future.

I contacted EV by email last week straight away with no response until I rang today. I have been told EV will get back to me eventually.

Is this acceptable…it’s paid in full…nearly a year to fit a £10,000 awning!!

On my part … I have had a lot of wasted days waiting for contractors and surveyors. It has cost me a lot of money. Also the metal contractors gave no indication that there had been a problem fitting around the pipe so I feel ‘ fobbed off’ with a poor service. Also the company left me with the plastic casing which I’ve just paid a man to dump! I had no where to store safely .

Wished we had never placed an order with this company. We made all the choices for the awning. They carried out the survey and we paid the deposit. Then to be told weeks later we couldn’t have it fitted due to our brickwork?? No time during the survey where we told there was a major problem with it. He did say it would not be a straightforward fitting due to the position but didn’t say it couldn’t be done. This really concerned us so we had our builder out to assess, to be told there was no issue with the brickwork. Reading between the lines. We think the order was too small for too little money and alot of work. We where only paying £7k (which we feel is a great deal of money) compared to the previous job the guy had just surveyed which was £30k. Basically wasn’t worth it financially. Have made 3 calls now to try and get our refund back and still haven’t received it. They keep making excuses. Certainly wouldn’t recommend this company from our experience. Will contact our bank if we don’t hear from them soon.

I contacted Eden Verandas due to a fault with my awning settings (awning not supplied by Eden). I was at a loss and going around in circles trying to find local support to reset the settings to allow the awning to retract fully.

Eden verandas have been great from the start with all pre visit information to the engineer who visited today was fantastic. Such great customer service, Richard was happy to explain things to me and so respectful.

I will not hesitate to use you again in the future and highly recommend to others.

We placed an order for a glass sunroom on 02/06/21. We had considered three companies initially, narrowed it down to two similar suppliers of German engineered products. Finally decided on Eden Verandas mainly on our confidence in their sales person.
Peter Dickinson was our initial contact. Very professional, visited us on several occasions and was always available by phone or email.
We signed the order which showed a lead in time of 8 - 12 weeks but Peter noted on the order that due to Brexit the lead time would now be 18 - 22 weeks.
On 19th Jun we had a site visit from Lyle who did a detailed measurement and assessment of the sunroom. Other than adjusting the number of doors and their size he was happy with the design. Again a professional approach which gave us confidence.
We then heard nothing until 27th July when sales manager Max Morris called to discuss the design and agree a minor alteration for a fillet to push the glass roof past external pipes.
In all it had taken eight weeks to get from order to a position where Eden could requisition material from their German supplier. So we do not feel Eden will have any excuse to exceed the 22 week maximum installation date.
Max told us to ring in 10 days or so when we would be given a provisional installation date.

Since then we have had no contact with Eden that was not initiated by us.
We rang sales director Neil Trevethan on 5th July and were told the materials were on the German production schedule but did not yet have a delivery date.
Nine weeks later we have not had the courtesy of an update.
We also asked Eden to deal with planning consent on 5th July, having signed a waiver in any event in order not to cause delay in installation.
Nine weeks later we have received no update and there is nothing showing for a planning application at our address on our Local Authority website.
We asked for detailed plans on 12th August but despite repeated requests, these have not been received. Surely these must be available and required for the planning application??

I am very pleased with my glass verandah. Eden were very professional throughout and kept me up to date with progress. They applied for my planning permission. I knew there would be delays with Covid and Brexit but I got updates. The installation staff were all so polite and didn't leave one scrap of rubbish behind. Not the cheapest quote I got but in the end you get what you pay for.
