any school any teacher who uses edgenuity should be ashamed I don't know how you show your face in public you shouldn't show your face in public because if I find you ohhhhh boy I have some very not nice things to say to the people who made this website I hope you all live very uncomfortable lives I hope your kids hate you for the rest of your life and I hope you never find true love

My older brother said this sucked. I was unknowing to the horrors that are Edge. I greave my unknowing little soul. I opened the app and my soul left me. I now know that I fear the word Edge. When this app came out, I think I may of heard god weap. If I could give 0 stars I would. I learned more things off of Youtube.

I can't even begin to unpack all of my issues with this program. This review is from the point of view of a student. Specifically a senior who might not even graduate this year partly because of this horrid 'learning' program.
I'm doing recovery, because there were a lot of learning disruptions in the past and admittedly I was a stupid teen who didn't want to work. Now, even as I'm doing my best to actually learn, Edgenuity makes it painful and soul-sucking.
The worst part for me is the lack of engagement. Instead of anything interactive it's just painful, monotonous, repetitive videos that can go on for 2-20 minutes or longer depending on the subject. These videos are difficult to focus on in my experience because of how boring they all are.
Linked to that issue, there are only a few lessons that are somewhat interesting. It's just watch a video, answer a question, repeat. Watch a video, answer questions, repeat. Quiz, more videos, questions, etc. It gets so repetitive I want to rip out my hair.
Another thing that makes this program so bad is the grading system itself. Instead of anyone actually reading over my written work, it's a program searching for key words. No matter how good an answer may be, if it doesn't have the key words you get a 0. I don't think I need to explain why a system like that sucks for learning.
Outdated information threw me for a loop a few times. Both in videos and answers, sometimes the 'right' answer is outdated and wrong. Makes things really confusing and frustrating.
Edgenuity is just a bad program overall. The ONLY thing that's decent is some of the teachers seem to be actually trying. That's it. The program itself? Awful.

I am writing this review based off of my perspective as a student. I am doing summer health classes to get that out of the way for my future high school years. This app is very unreliable for teaching someone and is very unhelpful at teaching me anything. The prerecorded videos take up more than half of the amount of time that you spend on the app. I am also given many different questions on the quiz's that have more than one correct answer but I am only aloud to choose one. This app can not teach you shit and it warms my heart to see it have such a terrible rating. I even have my mother help me on a couple of the tests but we still could not manage to get 100% on very many of them. They people that run the app always say they will fix the problems with the app but they never do because they are lazy and could care less. I do not suggest anyone to even consider trying this app due to all of the inconveniences there are on it.

parents, please don't sign your kids up for this. I do 9+ hours of work DAILY and i'm still behind. the AI detectors are so innacurate. To truly get a 100% on the written response questions, you have to type the right keywords i guess, cause it seems like when i write more, I get a 0 compared to if i write less. oh, and its a hit or miss with saving on this website. I've used multiple different websites and yet half of my stuff doesn't save. Its such a dread, especially with 17 minute unskippable videos and the type of voice you would hear at a funeral. Its seriously terrible. Parents, please don't sign your kids up for it. They'll hate you.😭. This is the first review for anything I've ever done, it's that bad.

Honestly, it is WAYYY to time consuming. Having to take 4 lessons in under a day is around 7 hours for me. The videos are entirely too slow paced and it literally takes the fun out of learning new things.

I'm writing from a students view and this site is so bad long unskipable videos and sometimes you do the work and makes you restart I wouldn't even wish my worst enemy to do a whole class on edgenuity, straight hell I have 20 hours on this bum app and Im 79% done with one of my classes. And I still have to do 2 more, what the hell am I supposed to do to finish I only have 13 more days of school

Ever wanted to play copy and paste with brainly for a few months? and support doesn't help much, I contacted them about video speed controllers and they respond with "academic honesty" while they can't even decrapify their own software

Absolutely Horrible, i am talking from a students point of view and in general while school in general is boring this is insane, long videos, Un skippable, outdated content and a lifeless boring voice that makes me want to pull my hair out, on top of that since my school registered me late i was behind by 3 days and it tells me i have 16 activities to do in one day, that takes almost over 6 hours?, and if i dont then the time will only increase?, what kind of crap learning system is this, and the writing systems no matter how much you explain if it doesent have certain keywords its wrong, honestly whos genius idea was this?

I am doing credit recovery for a class and I have to use edgenuity for it, the website is horrendously slow even with 1gbps internet it takes over 3 seconds to load each page, it also reloads the whole page when you just go to the next question which makes it even slower. The videos are unskippable and sometimes tell you literally nothing about the content (Tip: if you're using firefox you can right click and change video speed to 2x speed ;P yw) it also decides to just tweak out and say i have a second session open when I don't, then it will just give me an error saying the server timed out (Again more evidence that the infastructure probably hasnt been updated since the early 2000s) and reloading doesnt help... the servers are slow and unstable at best. Not to mention the questions and videos having dated information... if i could give 0 stars i would... like how is this company still in business, not to mention the horrible website design, luckily I have an extension that makes fonts and things change to my liking which makes it bareable.. but the website looks horrendous when i turn it off... not to mention the trackers in the website.. my adblocker blocked at least 4 domains from connecting trying to track me bruh... ight ima end my review now the servers are back up again.... i hate edgnuity 1/10 experience dont use it ever if you're some admin for a school or sum

I'm currently doing credit recovery for my freshman year and the program they're making us use is edgenuity and it's made my week awful so far. I haven't learned a single thing even after about 7 hours of doing it, the videos are long and unskippable, the text to speech makes it so that you have to sit and wait for it to read it to you, even if you don't even want it to.
Every minute I have to spend on edgenuity is a minute that I am enduring extreme mental despair and lament. just like xiao

I will preface this by paying my utmost respect to the CEO, who I understand is very well regarded in the education services sphere. Now, the nitty gritty. I was a highschool student when I used this platform. The website looks and runs as though it hasn't been updated since 2005, the videos are tedious and unskippable, the courses (I did multiple, across STEM and liberal arts subjects) are arduous and uninspiring, and any answers to assignments or assessments tend to be readily available on the internet if you know where to look. I don't intend to jeopardize anyone's academic integrity, but succeeding without cheating is nearly impossible due to the unnuanced nature of multiple choice questions. This site could be so much better with a small investment in product development and market research targeting the kids who actually use the platform. Make it fun! Allow students to skip videos if they know the info already! Your students and clients will surely thank you.

Projects that take 5 hours? 0% of your grade! Multiple choice exams with answer crossovers and contradicting information? 20% of your grade! Random person on the side of the road with early onset dementia? Hired for videos! Technology problems? Edgenuity offers all of them!

When I was going to rate this, the page wasn't fully loaded for about a second, so I thought that Edgenuity was so bad that the only option to rate it at was one star. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

I'm in my senior year, and I am riding on my ability to take extra classes with my online school to be able to graduate (the pandemic cause many disruptions in my education causing me to fail several classes). In first semester, my school was using ck-12 which is a great program. unexpectedly my school switched what program it used for our classes. edgenuity is outdated, clumsy, and genuinely a downgrade from my previous program. unskippable videos that are anywhere from 2-10 minutes long full of info that doesn't even mach up with the question or lessions most of the time. it has genuinely mad me hate learning.

This website is terrible! The videos are so old and most times don’t match the questions that come with it. It freezes up every time I use it and doesn’t let me continue to the next slide or lesson. This may be the worst way to “learn” there is. Thank you :)

Give CRAZY amount of homework assignments the amount that you wouldn’t get in in-person school. 0/10 don’t recommend edgenuity to anyone!!!! Really long videos that are unecessary just a waste of time.

I use Edgenuity for one class. The teacher is a soulless robot and anytime i ask for help she redirects me to “contact the distributor” whoever that is. I’ve learned nothing from the class and the way it’s set up is so repetitive and mindless. I feel horrible for the younger kids who are expected to learn anything from this program. There’s also so so many assignments due in a day and none of them have any point to them. Very disappointing and frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend to even my worst enemy.
