For people that (like me) are not great with this online rubbish it's the biggest nightmare I've ever experienced trying to use this site. I have managed loads of sites over the years and this one makes no sense at all. So I give up. Good luck to everyone that is not great with Internet and technology.

Keep getting messages to say there's a new message ,so I log in and there's no new message, utterly frustrating crap ,I'm doing it to help my elderly mother and I'm lost so God knows how they would get on.

I find Egress ideal for my confidential medical work. Recently I had a problem in relation to adding a new user of my account while retaining an existing user for just 2 weeks. I had very helpful advice from the help service mid September - it was prompt and gave me exactly what I wanted.

Being old it was slightly complicated to negotiate the registration but I managed it in the end so all good. On past experience I have found them extremely helpful and rated the last surgery I did as a 5

I appreciate that security is of the utmost importance, but when it causes problems for the user and receiver, what's the point in having it. You either can't open a message, the system crashes out or every time you want to go back into a message, you have to verify who you are. This is such a user unfriendly service that I wish the like's of hospitals and doctors would stop using. If not being treated for stress, you will be after using Egress.

Seriously flawed. The system takes ages to access then denied you access then tells you to try again. It just seems astounding that such a flawed system is used in a healthcare setting.

DON'T USE THIS SOFTWARE. I've asked their support team how to remove Egress from my Outlook add-ins. So far I have received no response. It is stopping me from emailing multiple files in Outlook. Something I've never had a problem with before, until I added the Egress Outlook add-in.

This software is just awful. Very clunky, slow, hard to use, just garbage. My solicitor is insisting in using it but we are having endless problems.

An unstable piece of software regarding accessing information that had 'previously been delivered'. Furthermore Egress try to lock in auto payment renewal. There seems no system to stop this and when I asked for a contact from Egress as to this, the request has been ignored.

Had experienced difficulty in accessing Egress. Supported to identify the issue which was related to an upgrade issue.

I use egress to send confidential meeting notes to a school. In general it is a very useful easy to use process but it is frustrating that email addresses cannot be saved and I need to copy and paste from my contacts every time I send an email

It is regrettable that Egress appear not to have been able to reach agreement with Google about a Chrome extension that would continue to support Egress on G-mail. Both Chrome and G-mail are ubiquitous. Prior to this loss the functionality was excellent.

Egress encryption software is easy to use , flexible and reliable . Problems are rare but the help team answer rapidly and fix any trouble immediately . The system has a lot of functions for IT aware users . For the rest of us , it does what it says on the tin . Dr J , Harley Street

I use egress for my private assessment work with schools as I use a gmail email address and need to safeguard confidential learner information under SENDa and data protection laws.

Using egress is a really useful and uncomplicated method of secure emailing confidential documents for me.

Works well, especially for sending and receiving to other egress users. It is widely used in healthcare which is great. Some patients (non egress acc holders) less IT savvy seem to struggle a bit.

It would be helpful to have previous egress messages and attachments archived for reference at a later date.
