My initial enquiry was answered by Chris Markey almost immediately, and by the evening I was signed up for hip replacement surgery. 2 weeks later, I had the operation which has been successful. I had attentive contact pre-op from Chris Markey, the surgeon, Mr Makrides and an anaesthetist, nurse and physiotherapist and contact at weekend's and evenings as required. In hospital, I received attentive care, even being got out of bed at 6 am by Amit the physio, who enabled me to walk upstairs and go home on day 2. I am very happy with experience.

Cannot fault my stay, I went for private surgery November 2022 and had my own room and was regularly checked on when needed and minimal disruption when I was resting. I enjoyed my food and had cups of tea and juice whenever I asked. All of the staff treated me with dignity and were cheerful and chatty when attending to me.
I stayed for 2 days, 1 night and I’m grateful for all of the staff who looked after me so well.

Really helpful staff pre and during op. Chris Markey in particular was incredibly helpful and surgery was very smooth on the day. Has been difficult getting in touch with after care questions however

Had surgery at one of the Hospital Group hospitals.
All round good experience, from making the initial contact through to after care (currently 2 weeks post op).
Great customer service from Chris Markey, and thanks to my surgeon Mr Robinson.

I had a procdure booked with Dr Vik Vijh who is great. Patient and answered all questions as well as doinga fantastic job. The team were amazing, from reception to the night nurses. They catered to everything I needed with no display of poor attitude and constantly checked on me to ensure my blood pressure, oxygen levels were normal as well as me being responsive and in little pain as possible. They fed me constantly when I asked for food as it had been a long gap since I had last eaten the day before. The discharge process and aftercare was explained throughly and clearly. Again, all questions were answered! Will definitely use again if choosing a hospital in the future Huge thanks to the entire team!

The interaction I’ve had from pre op to post op has been fantastic . Not only from Lisa my advisor at transform but also the dietitian Aimee aswell. To be fair everyone I’ve spoken to or raised any concern with about my bypass have been exceptional. I am now nearly 5 weeks post op and the care is still ongoing from transform hospital group as I receive phone calls every 2 weeks to make sure the recovery process is going to plan . Would definitely recommend to anyone who is considering this kind of surgery ⭐️

Have had a few surgeries previously and always been happy, however my latest, implant removal with uplift has left me with terrible results. My nipples are so high no bra covers them and my right breast is pulled so tight it’s lifted towards my armpit. I was promised revision surgery when Covid restrictions eased by Tamara who then went on maternity leave. This was then passed to Debbie who also promised revision surgery. I am now getting no response and have emailed the new email address as advised with no response. My original surgery was featured in a magazine and I was so happy with the results but what I have been left with now is nothing short of a nightmare. As I am now being ignored I guess I have no choice but to contact the original magazine who ran my story and tell them of my new experience
*Edited to say after recieving a response requesting I email, I have done so several times, and still no response! So poor and shameful!

I had a partial knee replacement which was performed perfectly by Mr Mark Dunbar a week ago the physio got me up and walking within 24 hours came home and continued with the exercises I am know walking without any walking aids the pain has gone and reel brilliant
The staff were great in hospital and really looked after me

My experience overall has been good, from my initial phone call conversation with Chris through to my post op nutritionist Jane.
The only negative I have is that I was discharged from the hospital with tablet/capsule form medication when it should have been soluable/liquid medication. This went against all information and advice I had been given before my surgery. Due to this I was unable to take my pain relief, stomach protector and anti-sickness medication as I could not swallow tablets. This was quite distressing and I was very uncomfortable and anxious for the few days post surgery. I did question my nurse about this on discharge but she told me that it was what I should be given as stated by the surgeon. This issue was only recified when my nutritionist called for my post op review and told me a mistake had been made. My progress was delayed as I had to then contact my GP to arrange soluable medication. Since then things are slowly getting better day by day.
