We recently had a solar panel and battery system installed by Emerald Solar, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish.

The team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with throughout the whole process. They took the time to explain how everything works and helped us choose the right setup for our home and energy needs.

The installation was smooth and completed to a high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. Since having the system installed, we’ve already noticed a big improvement in our energy efficiency and savings.

The battery storage is a fantastic addition, allowing us to store excess energy and use it when we need it most.

Overall, we’re extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend Emerald Solar to anyone considering solar and battery solutions.

A fantastic company to have guide us through planning and installing our new solar system. From Gemma's transparency through the sale process to the installation quality of the fitters, there is very little to complain about and a lot more cheers about. My only gripe was that we were not informed about how long it would take to get our installation doc package and transferring to the new tariff which incurred additional cost in the liminal period between switching (nothing serious and pretty standard) and also that the installers didn't do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. But, after speaking to Emerald Solar they where very eager to take on the feedback and use the information proactively and very quick to organise the clean up of debris after the fact. In my opinion this great customer service and I've felt valued throughout the process.

Lawrence was so patient and helpful informing us initially. The installers were great and liam electrician was really helpful and professional. Under 2 weeks from initial discussion with Lawrence to install. Perfect 👌

From first visit by advisor until final completion all staff were professional polite and helpful explaining the process and advising on it's use. They sorted out minor installation issues quickly and the communication support was excellent.

From the initial sales process through to installation and post-installation support, everything has gone smoothly. The team has been responsive and professional throughout, and they’ve addressed all the issues we raised after installation promptly and effectively, which gave us a lot of confidence in their service.

Worst company ever. Liars and scammers.

I am generally happy with the Solar and Battery Installation. All of the people I have dealt with have been very nice, polite and followed up with calls to ensure I am happy with the process. The sales rep wasn't pushy and helped advise me, although sadly he overestimated the amount of panels I could fit on the roof by 4, a reduction of nearly 25% of what I was expecting. I wasn't made aware until the installation was completed but the team were polite, tidy and professional. I cannot comment on the operation as yet as the equipment and app for the Levilise unit was only installed last week and the engineer was very helpful, as was the operator who called to help set up the app on my phone with me. I would recommend Emerald Solar for their customer service and speed of installation.

My solar installation was completed on 4th December, and unfortunately, the problems started immediately after installation.

The installation team left metal parts and general waste scattered across my driveway, which was completely unprofessional.

It then took nearly three months just to receive the installation certificate, causing unnecessary delays and frustration.

Even now, after around four months, the export to the grid is still not working. I am being told this could be due to wiring issues from the installation, which raises serious concerns about the quality of the work carried out.

Throughout this process, I have been passed between multiple teams with no clear ownership or resolution. The lack of coordination and accountability has made this experience extremely stressful.

After four months, I am still left with unresolved issues and no proper solution in sight. This has been a very disappointing experience, and I would strongly urge others to consider this before proceeding.

Sales engineer really knew his stuff, install looks great, installer and electricians we very helpful.

Emerald personnel have been excellent in providing all the help I needed to complete this installation. Their aftersales help with payments and invoicing, along with technical help with setting-up new tariff's for getting the best returns etc has been extremely helpful.
I only give credit where credit is due... they have it and my thanks too.

We had a great experience with Emerald Solar. From the initial meeting to installation, the turnaround was quick and well organised. Darren was particularly helpful throughout the process, taking the time to provide clear and thorough information so we fully understood how to get the most benefit from our solar system. He also followed up post installation to make sure everything was working well.

All went well with our instal. We were a bit hesitant at first, but we had no issues. On the day of install, our the number of panels changed but this was communicated well by Alesia who explained and was very helpful.

Brilliant service, no pushy sales.
Darren explained the system and how to get the best out of it in simple terms and looks like he got the balance of panels to batteries just right for our needs!

From initial visit to having our system installed was just over a week, very pleased with that!
