I would like to give ZERO stars to this company but you can't, my 76 year dad had a phone call out of the blue from this company asking to come round and check his loft insulation, a chap came round next day all kitted out with all the equipment that you can buy online to scare my dad into saying that you have insulation that has posion in it and showed him a ready from this so called machine, ( I don't belive it worked correctly), he was asked if he has a sore dry throat and has watery eyes, again pulled on my dads vulnerability, the chap said to remove all the old stuff it would cost £7000, No said my dad I'm a pensioner and thats a lot, he said let me speak to my office came back with £4000, and wanted £2100 up front, which he paid on credit card, said they could come round a few days later now they had his money,

My dad then called myself and brothers about what he had done to which were not happy that he had been cold called and sounded like this was a rip off scam and hadn't told us what he had done, we then looked up the reviews on this company and told our dad to cancel the order, he ended up speaking to some girl on the phone on a mobile who was going to pass on our dad's number, he did get a call but, only to ask why are you canceling, after my dad explained he can't afford this and after talking with family this is not for him, they said they would refund him his deposit, AND he has not had it back, he has had to go through his bank to get his money back, they have honered it and are taking this up with the firm, THIS WAS 4 MONTHS AGO

Please do not let your family buy anything from them PLEASE

Scammers all the other reviews are spot on that's their company policy and there are more then 1 company running currently doing the same thing. All managed by the same guy Mr Paul Malon

My 82-year-old mother already paid a £1000 deposit to a company to remove her Spray Foam she was quoted £5000 and had £4000 left to pay on completion energy wise home solutions came to the door pretended they were part of the other company then ended up charging her another £6400 and done a terrible job with mess left everywhere so all in all my mother has paid £7400 for a removal which she had a job booked in and was paying £5000

This company take advantage of old vulnerable people how they are still operating I will never know

My Aunt paid them £4900 to remove the spray lagging from her loft, the quote was to remove the. lagging, sand the timbers, spray the timbers to protect against rot and insects and to chemically clean the loft, Two men arrived for the day, hacked the lagging off and out it in black bags, the felt is ripped, the black bags are still in the loft, there is debris all over the loft, the ceiling in the kitchen and living room were stood on the light have been pushed out of the ceiling and the ceiling damaged,
We have tried phoning, sent 2 letters oner signed for registered post but they will not reply.
They target older vulnerable people, con artists, Do Not USE

DO NOT USE!! Why? (this happened just yesterday 24th March 2026)

I walked into my mum's house, she was sitting with a guy from this firm. Although he claimed he was an independent surveyor and not directly with the firm. They use him to do the surveys and quotes - which I don't believe at all, and you'll see why.

He was on the phone to the head office about to process the payment.
I asked what's going on, mum proceeded to tell me she's getting the loft insulation done for £3,600 as they guy said she has been accepted for a government grant - the starting price was £9,000. Yes, you read that right - NINE THOUSAND POUNDS!!! For loft insulation on a 3-bed house. No boarding or new hatch door and ladder, just insulation.

The guy said that the moisture reading was off the charts, we are losing an insane amount of heat and we can save over £1,000 per year on the heating bill.
I told him I'm a property investor/developer (true) and £3k is ridiculous, let alone £9k.

I Googled the firm and found this feed and read what you've all said.
I also looked at the grant, results returned stating that the grant has now ended!
I looked at Companies House to see they've only been registered since Oct 2024.
I Googled what the average cost of loft insulation on a 3-bed house is, and the result... £750-1250!

I ask him for a breakdown of the cost, which started out at £9k. The first thing he said was, "for starters, that's for 2x guys to be on-site for a day". I told him that's £500, as it won't cost more than £250 per day each. He paused and then said, "well it also depends on where they are coming from". I said well in that case I will use a local firm.
He then said that he knows it's expensive!!

I told him not to bother and we will get quotes from elsewhere.

Today I have had another firm conduct a survey, and guess what... insulation is fine, no moisture whatsoever, and they clearly stated that it does NOT need doing...Shocker!!
The only thing they advised was an new insulated hatch door, as the current one is worn and not insulated - which is true.
Cost for a new insulated larger hatch door, new ladder, part boarding, and lat vents = £1,000
Cost for new insulated larger hatch door and lat vents only = £600.
This new firm did a like-for-like quote from what we were given by Energy Wise Home Solutions, which came out to £2,500.
Still over £1k cheaper than the supposedly discounted price of £3,600 from Energy Wise.

Moral of the story, do not use them. Don't even entertain conversations with these guys.

No doubt they will be closing the company and operating under a new name. As the guy stated they have been doing this for over 20 years...but the company was only incorporated 17 months ago. Always check and triple check, especially if they have found you.

My 91 year old Aunt was pushed into a contract she didn't need for removal of insulation she didn't have. The company refused to give the deposit back of £2400 even though we terminated the contract within 14 days.
