The person I dealt with was polite and helpful but I there was a significant time delay on the line which lead me to think they had not heard me so I started to repeat the question just as they started to respond. Two people speaking at once created communication problems. That combined with the pronounced foreign accent of the responder made the call difficult for me.

I have invested in stocks for over 50 years and I have never had the trouble I have with EQ! My companies include PPL, Exelon, Merck, Oracle, CEG to name a few who are engaged with EQ. I want these companies to know as a long time investor after today, I may seriously be selling just so I don't have to put up with this inefficient investor relations company!!!!!!

Pleased to see mainly positive reviews of this company's performance and I will not criticise their efficiency (otherwise it would be one star). However, their charges for selling shares of a deceased member's estate are outrageous ranging from £70 minimum per share or 1.9% of proceeds if higher. Then they levy an additional Lost Share Certificate charge of £60 per share. To add insult to injury they paid an incorrect dividend and charged a further £15 for reissuing a cheque relating to their mistake!

Gokul, was extremely help and really knew his stuff. One of the best advisors I have spoken to. Well done, indeed!

The representative was polite& professional. The problem was solved quickly.

Dealing with my late mother and fathers estate has been a nightmare. Frequently on hold for over 45 mins. Query not resolved over 5 months later. First I was given incorrect advice. Final straw is that I wrote a letter at Equinitis request with 3 asks. I documented everything clearly, attached bank statements and numerous forms. One of those asks was actioned, the other two were simply ignored! I only found out because I called in to check status and spent another 50 mins on the phone. Anthony was very helpful on the phone - the staff are great and not the issue - they have poor systems and process. Everything is based on paper forms and calling in - digital capability is poor and makes me feel like it's on purpose to make it difficult for customers to transfer shares and money out of Equiniti. There are clearly not enough staff in the Bereavement team in particular. No one was able to tell me why two parts of my letter were ignored. Having spent hours on phone and administration, I'm left feeling very frustrated. This is just the tip of the iceberg - there are a litany of other problems. Great individual staff but awful systems and processes from Equiniti.

I cannot comment on telephone assistance as I was trying to buy shares on line. It sent me round in circles and when I got near to completion it timed out. I was using my phone and use of my computer may be easier. I found the date of birth setting particularly difficult using the phone as I had to scroll back from 2009 to 1946.

Excellent comprehensive service from Gokul. Having listened to my query, Gokul fully understood and proceeded to patiently explain clearly and intelligently steps to be taken and, would patiently repeat the instructions on occasions I did not fully understand. Overall, I am satisfied that Gokul represented the Equiniti Financial Services Team eloquently and patiently with knowledge and understanding.

Been holding now for 30 minutes to get through to this company and have finally given up. I'm trying to deal with my deceased fathers shares and tried to do this online. I have received 6 letters back all dated the same day and none are at all all not easy to understand so I need to actually speak to someone. This it seems is not possible. I will be charged for not returning one of the forms within 14 days of receipt but I need help knowing how to fill it in. I am being penalised for Equiniti not answering their phones. Not great service.

The Shareview website Chat Bot would not work after trying numerous times. This resulted in many phone calls to Equinity who's agent were able to guide me.

A not very patient operator. I asked for CGT information which I was advised takes 7/8 days. I explained the cheque that I paid for the information was taken from my account 15 working days previously but she didn’t seem to care about that simply saying she had contacted the department and it would take another 7/8 days. I’m not overly confident I’ll receive it and will have to chase again.

The operator was most helpful, downside held on for extensive period before operator became available.
Resolved my problem with care and consideration.
