Very professional in enforcing CCJ for customer overseas. Efficient email communications. Successful outcome.

We were really happy with the communication, throughout our experience with Equivo, totally stress free! We were notified at every stage of the process and when they were visiting the defendant company.
All information from the Enforcement Officer was relayed to us. The attention to detail was really appreciated. Even though the series of actions was a long process, their professionalism was first class.

My experience with equivo was made so much better with the help from Kelly who was nothing but kind and considerate to my situation. She made everything so much more relaxing and less stressful.

Friendly and helpful very clear and easy to understand

When I first found this company I felt cautiously optimistic. Their website appeared professional and the reviews at the time were reassuring.

However, after raising an enforcement case a year ago, I’ve found that their communication leaves a lot to be desired.

The initial steps were handled well - I received a phone call and an email from the Transfer Up team explaining the process, and I followed their process. Seven months later, I received an invoice requesting payment for High Court and Compliance Fees, which were higher than what had originally been outlined. But by that time, the terms and conditions on their website had changed.

Throughout the process, I repeatedly highlighted how elusive the defendant was and provided detailed information to support the investigation. Despite this, I found myself having to chase for updates every 3–6 weeks over a five‑month period. Not once has anyone proactively contacted me with an update since the very beginning.

Sadly, this is not the first time I have experienced a company operating this way. Use at your discretion.

Michaela was professional. she explained the situation calmly and clearly and gave us time to understand what was happening. She showed empathy for our situation, which was really appreciated.

My experience was that of a real human that give straight answers and clear guidelines to what was going on very pleased with Jack

After a cowboy builder ruined my bathroom and took my money , he ignored a court order and CCJ and I contacted Equivo after a friend recommended .
They have been BRILLIANT !
It was an arduous task , as the builder evaded communications and was aggressive at times , but the officer, Mr Potter , persisted with multiple visits and used lawful and professional methods to ensure the builder eventually paid my money back !
Alison and Equivo , can’t come too HIGHLY recommended , very professional company who definitely know what they are doing !

Absolutely terrible experience with Equivo. They charge money but do not do their job properly. They claimed their debt collector couldn’t locate the flat above the shop, even though there are normal stairs at the back. I had to send them Google Maps photos to prove it. Instead of admitting their failure, they were rude and defensive. It seems they just take money and never actually recover debts. Complete waste of time and money. I strongly do not recommend this company. Eric

I used Equivo bailiffs to get my money back on a car I purchased.
They were awfully slow with information and I had to keep badgering them for the information. No communication for months on end.
They assessed that they would take cars from the garage that owed me £4500.
IN THEIR BRILLIANCE THEY DECIDED TO TAKE 2 CARS FROM THE OWNER OF THE GARAGE WHICH WERE VALUED AT A LITTLE OVER THE £4500 .
IT TOOK MONTHS TO HEAR ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT A CAR ON A FORECOURT WASNT GOING TO SELL AT AUCTION FOR THE FORECOURT PRICE AND KEPT PUTTING THE CARS BACK THROUGH THE AUCTION.
IN THE END THEY EMAILED ME SAYING THAT I WOULDN'T GET MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE THE AUCTION WAS DISAPPOINTING !!!
THEN EMAILED ME SAYING THAT THEY HAD TERMINATED MY APPLICATION.
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL COMPANY AND I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM AT ALL.
EQUIVO , ANYONE FROM YOUR COMPANY WANTS TO REPLY THEN PLEASE FEEL MORE THAN WELCOME!!!!
