ercol, was established over 100 years ago in 1920 by Italian designer Lucian R Ercolani in High Wycombe. The ercol office, showroom and factory moved to its current location in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire in 2002. Design has always been at the heart of ercol. Our furniture designs for dining, living and bedroom constantly evolve to reflect how we live today. We have a talented In-house design team and furniture technicians, to create and develop our designs, we also collaborate with external UK designers to create unique pieces all of which are made with integrity and fit for purpose.

Ercol Sofa bed
The Sofa Bed was exactly what we wanted. We had been trying to get an original 1960 one for ages. It is beautifully made, comfortable and looks stylish.
Our only problem was lack of communication for delivery. However the two men that eventually brought it were efficient, kind , helpful and took all the packaging away.

Novara Grand Sofa.
ERCOL HAVE PAID FOR REPLACEMENT FOAM WHICH CORRECT THE PROBLEM I HAD
Novara Grand Sofa.
We have used this brand new Sofa for only 3 weeks.The cushion foam has collapsed and is of such poor quality that I have replaced it with quality foam.As a Master Upholsterer of 50 years I thought I knew that Ercol quality was better than this.

The Novara Grand Sofa is manufactured to meet strict quality and durability standards, so it’s disappointing to learn that the cushion foam has not performed as expected after just three weeks of use. This is not the level of performance we aim to deliver.
We would very much appreciate the opportunity to investigate this further. Cushion fillings can occasionally require a short settling period, but premature collapse should not occur. We ordered 2 pieces of furniture from the website but then decided that 1 was not required. Excellent service in cancelling part of the order and refund promptly processed.
The remaining furniture was also delivered promptly and is a lovely piece of furniture

100% AVOID
AVOID. The doggiest eBay seller ever encountered. They sold me an item on eBay and I tried to return it. They asked for over £100 to collect it. Ebay confirmed it should be free. They arranged collection but cancelled the return so I'd be without the item and funds. Wow.
They’ve replied. So let me add detail.
Without informing me, Ercol cancelled the item return and arranged collection, deliberately trying to leave me with no item and no refund. This was no mistake on their part.
I will now formally complain to EBay. This is not an honest seller; quite the opposite. PLEASE AVOID.

We’re really sorry to read that you feel this way about your experience. That’s certainly not the standard of service we aim to provide.
After your concern was raised, the listing was reviewed and confirmed to accurately represent the item. As there was no fault identified, the return was processed under our standard change-of-mind policy, where return carriage is the buyer’s responsibility (as stated on our eBay listings). We do of course offer free collection in cases where an item is faulty.
We understand there was some confusion around the return process. We made arrangements to collect the item, however the collection was unfortunately not completed. The case was ultimately reviewed and resolved directly by eBay.
We always try to work with customers to find a practical solution and we’re sorry that on this occasion it didn’t feel straightforward. If you would still like to discuss this further, we’re more than happy to help.

I bought an Ercol Marino chair in OA finish with green cushions from the Outlet. It’s lovely. I had to wait several weeks for delivery, the delivery cost was very reasonable, and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Ercol make extremely good furniture.
