I use this company a lot for myself and for the tenants of properties I look after, They are very responsive and reliable. I recommend them.

The team at Essential Repairs are excellent. They are extremely well organised and very helpful, and fair on their pricing too. Engineer visited the property on time, solved and repaired the issue and made some good suggestions. Got a report back that day with a sensible cost. They have done other work for us since then, and the service levels are consistent. Would highly recommend.

Highly responsive, clear reports and accurate quotes. Have used their services for a number of years and will happily continue to do so.

Good communications by phone, email and text. All appointments kept too. Surveyor reviewed the dampness problem and arranged for a specialist firm to carry out an inspection. The specialist firm gave me advice that they would pass to Essential Repairs for action. I look forward to the work being undertaken by ER in due course. All undertaken at nil cost (so far)

Very friendly and efficient staff and engineers. Could possibly improve internal communication a bit.

I could not have hoped for a more efficient service. Repairs were done and replacement parts were supplied and fitted very well.

The team were fantastic - I had an issue at 6pm with the boiler breaking, and contacted Sameera that evening, who arranged an engineer to come the next day at 8am. He reviewed, ordered the parts, came back the following day and all was fixed by 12 noon.

Highly recommend - both for service, time and skill!

Very efficient. Lots of text reminders about arrival time, confirmation of booking. Did work to a high standard.

We have been very pleased in the past by work carried out by Essential Repairs. This time, however, there were a few hiccups.
The work done by Angelos and Mikhailis was, on the whole, very good. They worked hard and tidied up beautifully.
My problem is with the admin. team at Essential Repairs. The guys who were actually doing the work had clearly not been shown any of the videos or photos I had sent - and only two small jobs from the list of the jobs we had requested (with accompanying photos etc), jobs that Essential Repairs had confirmed would be carried out, had been listed on the men's worksheet.
The result was a very uncomfortable first hour or so while all that got sorted out.
It really looked like some of the big jobs wouldn't get done. In the end, Angelos made it work because he was determined he would.
But still mistakes were made: a long-nurtured clematis was cut off at its base (it had reached the top of the trellis and was just going into bud for a second flowering - heartbreaking) and too much was cut back in the small back garden, so now we need an extra length of trellising to fill the gap! (again, videos of precisely what was required had been sent - but presumably not been shown to the people who needed to see them.)
Admin also told me (when I'd gone into the office a few days earlier to question why my calls weren't being returned) that: 'this landline number is not the number to leave messages on' - but it is the number that is all over their website, and when you ring, the v/m says: leave a message (!)
Also, emails seemed to go missing.
The guys arrived at the house at 8.30 (we'd been told 8 but hey) and at 1.06 pm I got a text from Essential Repairs, telling us the guys had arrived. Yes....four and a half hours earlier!
Angelos' work on the worktops (to make room for the new fridge) was perfect. Very pleased with that. And the new fridge arrived without fuss and exactly as planned.
It was a day that we'd been looking forward to (getting everything cleared and ship-shape) - but it was spoiled somewhat by all the misunderstandings due to what seems to be very poor communication between admin and workers.
(The last bags of rubbish still need to be taken away, and we are promised that work on the trellis will be complete by the end of this week.)

They took 2 days to complete but that didn't appear to effect the cost. Very friendly helpful, swift and appears to have been efficient the worker who repaired my bedroom ceilings x 2. Too early to say if the repairs were thorough and efficient in long term as its only been a month now since repairs and we have to live through weeks/months of bad weather to see how effective the work was. So far quite good and if in 6/9 months time it's still not mouldy, leaking or dripping I will review again probably with 5 stars!

The ER handyman came and did the odd jobs with no hastle. He was very efficient with his time, pleasant and obliging. I’d use again.

I have used Essential Repairs for a series of building installation and repair works and the work has been completed with skill, efficiency, managerially clear guidelines and with trusted communication at all times. Work was timely and innovative where and when necessary. Not just a company that offers value for money but value work completed without fault. If only more companies were as good.

I have used this company on four separate occasions. They have been timely, very professional and are polite and friendly.
I will be using them again and happily recommend them to others.

Essential Repairs sent a carpenter, who arrived on schedule and fixed the problem in a morning's professional work.

My Mother was recommend this company a while ago. Today she need something to get the garage door open as its been a problem for sometime.
She call Sameera at the office and within two hours it was all fixed, how amazing. I spoke to Sameera and what a delight that was. Such a lovely person and was so helpful to the end. Thank you Sameera, you are a star.
