I used Rennie & Buxton to apply for Cypriot citizenship. I found them by chance in a final attempt to get citizenship, after years of receiving conflicting information. They were very knowledgeable, responsive and patient, and most importantly, I now have a Cypriot passport. I would not have been able to do this without their help, due to just how confusing the information available online is.

With my Cypriot citizenship now secured, I can honestly say Elizabeth and Alex really know how to navigate this process. They handled the bureaucratic hurdles brilliantly and also verified and sourced archive proof of my grandfather’s Cypriot citizenship. I’m genuinely grateful for their expertise, I couldn’t have done it without them.

Alex and Elizabeth helped me obtain my citizenship by descent. Before finding out about them my family found the process of getting papers so difficult that even my parent had given up, despite being born in that country. However, Alex and Elizabeth guided me through the process and made the whole thing so easy. I waited to review the company until I physically had both my Citizenship ID and passport in hand, which I now do. It took time because of delays from the issuing country but I was advised clearly about the lead times. I have pretty demanding standards and Alex and Elizabeth met them with professionalism and efficiency. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

First class service at a reasonable price helping me with my application for German citizen by descent. Alex and Elizabeth took my details, gathered the information and then put it together in a pack that I then had to take to the German Embassy in London. I highly recommend Rennie & Buxton for navigating EU citizenship applications. They are experts in what they do and understand the paths and pitfalls of these bureaucratic procedures. Their services do not come cheap and if you are lucky enough to speak the language of bureaucracy (or know someone who does) then you may not need to enlist their services but, I believe the majority of us do not have the time nor experience to navigate the EU citizenship process. Rennie & Buxton assisted my application for Cypriot citizenship by telling me exactly what I needed to do, and what documentation to provide, made sure all forms were completed correctly, helped apply for all the relevant birth/wedding/death information, in both the UK and in Cyprus, to allow the application to proceed with minimal error or delay. They say you get what you pay for - and in this instance, I paid for and received excellent service.

Although applying for citizenship through decent should be a simple process the realities having looked at it are complex and frustrating to say the least. Having Rennie and Buxton Legal services handle the process took away a lot of those frustrations and enabled me to gain my Citizenship. Highly recommended and knowledgable company who go way beyond what they are expected to deliver and explain the processes involved from start to finish including saving you money where they can. The company also offer suggestions on what to do after you have gained citizenship which I found very helpful and illuminating. Have recommended my daughter to use them which she has taken up.
