There is a new Spin Instructor in town at Crewe West the lovely Gaynor, the class was excellent tonight, great music, motovational words and clear instruction. I will be booking on to Gaynors class again and highly recommend you to do the same..

Eagerly anticipating the reopening of Congleton Leisure Centre, I decided to commit to a full-year membership. At 60 years old, with a long history of gym memberships, my experience here has been disappointing. Unfortunately, the ladies' changing rooms consistently lack hot showers, and my repeated complaints, both written and verbal, have gone unresolved. I've resorted to using the private disabled shower, which luckily has hot water, but its cleanliness is questionable, with a peculiar odor reminiscent of sulfur. While I enjoy the steam and sauna facilities, they're off-limits during children's pool sessions, which is frustrating. Additionally, the center's cleanliness standards are shockingly low for a newly renovated facility. I've noticed other members neglecting to wipe down gym equipment after use, a responsibility that seems ignored by staff. The issue of hygiene is concerning, and it seems the focus is more on collecting fees than maintaining quality. Since joining in June, my visits total only about ten, compared to my usual five times a week routine. I'm left feeling quite dissatisfied with my experience as a healthcare assistant.

For several years now, I've been a regular at Crewe West and absolutely adore it. It's conveniently located just around the corner from my house, and the schedule for the gym classes fits perfectly with my routine.The sessions are outstanding, and the instructors are incredibly inspiring and truly understand their members. I highly recommend Chloe's Penalty Box class and Jen's boot camp. These two always go above and beyond to ensure you feel at home while also encouraging you to reach your limits!The staff greet you warmly at any hour, making you feel at ease. Paula's cheerful presence at 6am is a highlight, as is Kim, the exceptional gym manager.If you're considering a new gym membership, Everybody Crewe West should definitely be on your list. You'll feel genuinely welcomed.

Robbie makes the class fun, energetic and engaging. Great music and each tune is well thought out.

I have been a member for over 20 years and have attended many spin classes over the years .
Robbie is the best spin instructor I have ever had. His classes are very inspiring with great music choices and routines .
He was like a breath of fresh air to the gym and his classes always have a big waiting list as everyone loves it.
Also Tammy does a great Rig class on a Weds night and Keiron with his popular bootay class on a Tues eve.

What can I say , The best gym.

Paula , Kim , Terry and Diane are always there with a smile no matter how early come rain or shine! The same with the PT's . Whether your wanting to get fitter , improve your strength, lose a few pounds or have specific goals there's a PT for you.
Classes are included with a great choice with dedicated instructors . Some for the early birds and later ones to cater for people after work, plus some over the weekend.
I would highly recommend it to anyone whatever your fitness goals there's something for everyone. Great choice of equipment. Cardio , free weights,assisted weight machines, Ladies only facilities all within a friendly safe environment .

I’ve been going to Crewe west for 18 months now, this Is not a local gym to me and we travel for the great classes there.

The staff are lovely and welcoming, in particular Paula and Gaynor on reception who always great people with a smile and ask how we are.

Robbie’s spin classes are excellent. He always knows how to push us the extra mile and we all work so hard in his classes. My fitness levels have improved greatly from attending his classes. The music and atmosphere is great, like being on a night out! The other members and very friendly and there is a great community feel.

I would highly recommend Crewe West and the classes there.

Been with this gym since fitness first, now crewe West, best staff you could ask for, nearly every type of equipment you can ask for, loads of excellent classes and decent sauna and steam room, all for less cost than most gyms in crewe.

I’ve been going to Crewe West for a few years now and love it, it’s convenient for me just round the corner from my home and the gym classes timetable work for me.

The classes are brilliant, the instructors are very motivational and get their members - I strongly recommend Penalty box held by Chloe and boot camp with Jen. These pair go out of their way to make you feel welcome and also challenge you to push!

The staff are so welcoming, regardless of what time of day you arrive. I love seeing Paula at 6am greeting all the early birds and the gym manager too Kim.

If you are thinking of joining a new gym, give Everybody Crewe West a try - You really will be made welcome.

I’ve been a member of the gym Everybody@crewewest for about 18months. The team are really friendly you alway get a big smile and a hello. There is a great choice of equipment. Lots space for doing your own work out. It’s a great place to get fit.

@Crewe West - Amazing !! Staff are so lovely and the environment is so friendly and welcoming . I struggle with busy places but I always feel comfortable and if it is busy they have a ladies area .❤️❤️

All staff members at Crewe West are excellent Kim, Paula and the reception team are so welcoming and kind.
Excellent classes my favourites are those ran by Jennie and Chloe they really hold the class and the energy they bring is high.
The gym has a real community and family feel.

Classes are great - when you can actually book them. I have paid for a yearly membership but am finishing that most of the classes I would like to do get booked to add soon as they become available 8 days before hand. It's near impossible to actually use the membership. This is for the Poynton gym. It's so disappointing and may have to look into how I can cancel as they just can't fulfill the service they say they offer anymore.

Changed all swimming lesson times.

We’ve had a family membership since the leisure was refurbished in June 2023, and we were looking forward to what it offered.
Unfortunately after a couple of months, they decided to take the thermal suite away from members during the day (12.30-3pm) without any warning, this wasn't something we were made aware would be happening prior to joining, and wouldn’t of joined if it was mentioned.
We raised our issues with Neil Ruff in October 23, but felt it fell on deaf ears.
If you want to gym, swim and sauna then it has to be carried out with military precision with the daily varied timetable and restrictions they’ve put in place.
How do they look to acknowledge the issue?? By putting the membership up from our original price when taking facilities away from you.
Now our membership has ran its 12 months we were tied into, we can now look at more accommodating options elsewhere.

We have re contacted Neil Ruff this week as advised too, but again our concerns fell on deaf ears with no concern for our issues raised.

New gym (Congleton) with equipment that has been waiting for maintenance for over a week. Result of users who do not know how to use equipment properly.

Having waited excitedly for Congleton Leisure Centre to reopen I joined and paid for the year in full. I am 60 this year and have been a member of various gyms throughout my life. The ladies changing rooms have never had hot showers, I have complained about this on several occasions, including written complaints posted in their suggestion box. I have also requested to speak with the manager to no avail. I started using the disabled cubicle to shower as it is private and has hot water, but the level of hygiene leaves a lot to be desired and smells like rotten eggs! I like to use the steam and sauna, but this is not possible when children are using the pool - ridiculous, and again, hygiene seems to be at the bottom of their standards as the odours are unbearable!! For a newly refurbished centre the cleaning standards are appalling. I've picked members up on not wiping down gym equipment after use, not my job, but staff don't seem bothered about this. I will not tolerate using equipment with other people's bodily fluids thereon. Nobody gives a damn but very quick to take your money. Most disappointed - hence since joining in June last year I have been maybe 10 times when I would normally train 5 times a week. A very disgruntled healthcare assistant!! Date of experience is ongoing

These guys will happily take your money for swimming courses, but trying to get your kids *through* those courses is dmn near impossible. They'll prevaricate, say the instructor is off, say there are no spaces, whatever it takes to extend the time they are on each stage as long as possible, all of which is costing you money for lessons they have already done. In the end you'll end up paying a small fortune for courses that should take weeks but end up taking years. I've had to threaten to cancel my direct debit more than once, and it seems like I have to go in and speak to them every week to get them to keep on top of progression. Really dissapointing that the council outsources the running of its leisure centres to these buffoons.
