Last year we had the misfortune of having a tenant who moved in to our rental property, who then stopped paying rent after the first month. Never having been in this situation before and with the complication of the normal repossession and eviction process having been suspended due to COVID, we were at a loss as to what to do. We were desperate and needed the tenant out of our property as we could not afford 2 mortgages. We needed reliable advice.
